It's almost easy...

“Oh dear. Were you not aware you were having twins?” The doctor said and she’s got a look on her face like a deer caught in the headlights.

“No. I was not! I’m a guitar tech so I haven’t been able to get to all the scans…” I yelled. “Twins! Holy fuck!”

Brian is gaping beside me and he’s as shocked as I am.

“He’s leaving you with two newborns and a toddler?! Oh, I am so going to kill him!” Brian yelled.

“Not before I get to him you’re not.” I grunted. I pushed as hard as I could again and this time I know I felt something tear.

“Ok. One more and that’s the first baby delivered.” I faintly heard over my panting and Brian’s muttering. I blew my bangs out of my face desperately and gave an almighty groan as I pushed, and finally heard the cry. “Baby number one is a boy, congratulations!” the doctor told me and I burst into happy tears.

“Hey! Look at that! You got a boy!” Brian cooed from beside me. “Congrats sweetie.” he said and kissed my forehead.

“I have a boy.” I panted as I watched them clean him off and take him away for a second.

“Fifty bucks the second ones a boy too…” he muttered and I gasped at him.

“Brian Haner Junior! I am not taking bets on what is coming out of my vagina next!” I cried and the nurses laughed at me.

“Fine. You’re no fun.” he frowned, but chuckled.

“Ready for baby two?” The doctor and I shook my head and nodded at the same time.

“Pretty sure you don’t get a choice hun.” Brian said and then the pain was back and about 5 minutes later my second son was born. He’s tiny compared to his brother though.

“Both babies are fine. We just have to clean them up a bit, and stitch you up before you can meet them. Baby one did some tearing down here.” The doctor explained and I nodded, relaxing back on the pillows.

“I have twins.” I sighed to Brian and he grinned at me and has tears in his eyes. “Awwwww!” I cooed and he wiped at his face.

“And I have twin god sons…” he muttered and took a deep breath. “Thank you for picking me to come in here. That was awesome.” He grinned at me and I smiled back at him weakly.

“Pleasures all mine sweetie.” I sighed and kissed his hand where its still joined with mine.

"Time for a cuddle." A nurse announced and both boys were brought over to me. They're both wrapped up in white blankets and my bigger boy has a little blue beanie on his head while the smaller twin has a little white beanie.

"Hi boys." I cooed quietly as they both seem to be asleep. "How in the hell did a doctor not tell me there were two of you?" I added and B laughed at me.

"Let's just hope they're not idiots like their daddy huh?" He said and I huffed angrily. "What are you gonna name them?" He added as I continued to stare down at my babies.

"I dunno...I have a list of boys names I liked so I guess I just need to pick a few of them huh?" Brian nodded and I considered it for a little bit longer. "Boofhead here is Daniel Ryan and mini man is Matthew Liam." I decided and Brian snorted. "What?"

"Nothing. You've just given them their names and nicknames, for life by the way, all at once."

"Huh. I did too." I said absently and we watched both babies for a while longer.
Eventually I had to give them back and they took me to a room and Brian went to get the others. They were just wheeling the babies in when the boys made their entrance.

"You had twins?!" Johnny cried.
"You called one of them Matt right? Tell me he's not lying?" Matt said and pointed at Brian.
"Dude! She called one of them Matthew. I promise." Brian chuckled.

Zacky though, is suspiciously quiet, and I wondered why until he headed straight for me and leaned down to give me a hug.

"What was that for?" I giggled when he let me go and sat down in one of the chairs.
"That was a congratulations and an I'm sorry all in one." He said sadly but smiled.
"Why sorry?" I asked and then realised B must have told them what happened. That, or Jimmy was stupid enough to run past them all. "Anyway. To answer all of you, thank you, yes I did and no he's not." I giggled and all four of them grinned at me.
"Ok. Not to sound like an ass or anything, but twins is a really good explanation for why you were so huge." Johnny said and i laughed loud.

"Ha! I know right? Boofhead was so big he tore me." I told them and all four of them winced. "Yeah. Gigantor has a lot of making up to do." I said bitterly.

I introduced them to the boys after that and we all kinda sat around just talking for a good hour or so.

"Oh! I forgot to say earlier, but Val said she'd bring Taylor once she woke up." Matt said after a bit and on cue everyone in the room yawned. Oh yeah...I forgot I went into labour in the middle of the night...

"I take it this means I don't have to be breastfeeding coach?" A rather young looking nurse when she walked in, just as Matt mentioned Taylor.

"Yeah it does." I giggled. "Though the peanut gallery may have to nick off while I do the feed." I added and I heard Johnny groan. "Johnny, my boob may be out, but it ain't gonna be pretty." I told him and he sighed.

"Fine. We'll go get breakfast then." He decided and headed out of the room, to be slowly followed by the other three.

The nurse waited till they were gone before she spoke again. "Do you think it'd be weird if I asked them for a autograph?" She gushed and I smirked at her.

"Are you a fan?" She nodded. "You can ask. They're all attention whores anyway." I giggled and she looked relieved.

"Ok. Let's feed mini man here first so he doesn't miss out totally." She told me and handed me Matthew.

"I know. I think your brother's gonna be a guts buddy boy." I said and took him into my arms to start the feed.

"That probably won't matter in a few days." The nurse giggled and I raised an eyebrow in question. "With giving birth to twins, your milk production usually doubles, sometimes more than that even." She explained to me.

"Wow."

"Yeah. It shouldn't be wildly inconvenient. It will just mean you might have to express more often."

"Or let it back up so my boobs are the size of watermelons and use them to get the boys to do things for me." I giggled to myself. But the nurse seemed to have heard.

"If you think that will work, sure." She grinned. "Though it will be pretty painful."

"Oh, the pain would be worth it trust me." I smirked and she giggled in semi understanding.

About a half hour later the boys came back from breakfast and they'd even brought me something.

"I couldn't remember what you're allowed, so we kinda went simple." Brian told me and put some oatmeal and plain toast on my tray table.

"Thanks sweetie. I think I'm pretty set for everything except booze right now." I grinned. "Ouch! Daniel don't bite mommy." I groaned and re adjusted a little bit.

"He bites already?" Zacky asked and I nodded.

"It'll be worse when they start teething." I giggled and got everyone wincing again.

"Mommy!" I heard squealed and my head snapped up to see Taylor racing through the door with Val not far behind her.

"Hi baby! I missed you!" I cried and she giggled happily and stopped at the edge of the bed. "I have a surprise for you honey." I told her once Daniel was done and I'd put myself away.

"What?" She said and Zacky got ready to help her onto the bed.

"Well. You know how mommy said you'd get a playmate?" I told her and she nodded. "Well, come up here and you can see." I said and Zacky helped her up. She squeaked when she saw Daniel, but then I nudged my head in Matthews direction and she gasped.

"I get two?!" She squeaked.

I nodded. "Yeah baby. You have two brothers." I smiled and she clapped happily.

"Miss Val, I get two!" She told Val who's now wrapped up in Matt.

"I can see sweetheart." She smiled and Taylor turned back to me.

She's babbling away at a million miles a minute but I'm so happy I'm not paying too much attention. Jimmy has some major explaining to do, but I really couldn't be happier right now. I have not one, but two, beautiful baby boys, a toddler that's beyond excited she's a big sister and all the people I love in the same room. The journey wasn't the greatest, but the end result is turning out to be pretty fucking awesome.
