Video Star

Two and half weeks later I'm all settled into my new house and I've broken up with my boyfriend, I got beat pretty bad for it to but I didn’t tell him where I was moving to so hopefully he won’t find me. Anyways, I was in heaven, I just had to get that damn fireplace ripped out and that was happening right now actually. They were taking it out and fixing up the wall being careful of not ruining the cabinets because I really wanted to keep those but they were completely finished within the hour and it only cost me $150 because it wasn’t that big of a deal and I was extremely happy. I hadn’t really done anything to the house except that because I wanted that done first so I could paint and stuff so that’s probably what I’ll do for the rest of the day today. I decided to paint the walls a light brown coffee color and I painted from the entrance to the garage, into that little hallway then into the kitchen, eating area and great room.

That took me about two and a half days because of the primer first then the paint plus I needed a latter so I was going up and down that the whole time and since I was a little OCD I made sure I didn’t get paint on the baseboards or ceiling. For the spare bedrooms I did them the same color, three deep purple walls and a black accent wall and I did the black on the wall with the closet because there wasn’t a lot of wall that had to be covered. The laundry room, hall bathroom, and study I left white because I liked the shade it was and if I wanted to paint it later on I could. Now my room and bath room I did a very romantic, gothic red color that I absolutely loved.

The basement was a nice brown that I actually really liked so I left it that way, I stilled needed to get some more furniture but I wasn’t too worried about it. Today was Wednesday which means I had to film and I hadn’t been doing actual videos but I was vloging the moving and painting and things like that. I've decided to film in the spare bed room that was on the left of the hall bath if you were looking right at it. I had my desk up against the window for natural lighting and I had set everything up this morning.

I already had another bed from my apartment that was a full and it was just a mattress on top of a box spring with no frame or anything like that. It had black and red sheets, blankets and pillows; I set up a little leaning bookcase for books, obviously, and some candles and things like that. I got my chair in there very carefully after having to take off the door then I set up my tripod, camera, and lights. Turned everything on and hit record.

‘Hey guys!’ I said happily as I waved, ‘now I know you're probably mad at me because I haven’t been filming my usual music videos but I've been moving, painting, getting everything put in place and all that jazz so I've been a little busy. I'm mostly set up now and my filming set up is definitely going to be changing because I now have a fully finished basement so all my instruments are down there, everything’s in a different spot so I haven’t decided if I’m going to stay in one spot to film or move to wherever the instrument is. Now as for videos like this where I'm just talk to you guys I think I'm going to be filming in here but you never know, I might like filming downstairs better and I’ll just move everything down there but for now, this is where I’ll be until I decide.

If you guys want I’ll give you a basement tour so you can see all my goodies but I am not going to be doing a house tour for very personal reasons that you may or may not already know and by the way, I am now single so that’s fun I guess. I don’t have too much else to tell you guys about so on Friday I will definitely have up a new music video for you but until then just remember that I have just moved and I want to enjoy my new place so you might only be getting one or two videos a week for a while but it won’t be that way forever. So, with that being said, I’ll see you guys on Friday! Bye!’ I said and waved then shut the camera off.

I turned off all the lights then walked into the living room since that’s where my laptop was and I placed the video on my laptop then started editing it. I saved everything then went ahead and uploaded it to YouTube and while that was doing its thing my phone started ringing so I answered it without looking ‘hello?’ I asked and I heard Matthew’s voice on the other end making me smile ‘how’s the new place?’ ‘It’s awesome! I can't wait till you guys get off tour so you can come see it’ I said happily as I walked into the kitchen and started making myself a little snack.

‘Well we definitely wanna come see it and you and the guys and I have been watching all your videos and they really really wanna actually meet you’ ‘awwww yay I wanna meet them to’ ‘good, hey do you wanna say hi to everyone since we’re all here’ ‘uh sure why not?’ I smiled and he told me to hold on a sec so he could put me on speaker ‘ok, say hi’ ‘HI!’ I yelled and I heard them all laugh and yell hi back to me ‘and don’t even try to pull an echo joke because I will kill you’ I said as I finished making my sandwich then went to get some chips from the pantry ‘awwww’ I heard Matt say and I laughed a little ‘well I just finished filming so you guys should be able to watch that in a few minutes, it’s a short one and I'm just talking but it’s still a video’ I said and I heard them say ok ‘Echo this is Johnny’ ‘yes mister Christ what would you like?’ I asked as I got out a pickle then walked back into the living room with my plate ‘what are you doing?’ ‘I'm eating’ I said with some pickle in my mouth,

I heard him laugh a little and I smiled ‘what's your real question’ ‘well it’s not really a question’ ‘ok?’ I said then I heard some noise in the back ground ‘don’t you dare Johnny!’ ‘Awww but Briannnn’ ‘no’ ‘to bad’ I heard then I heard more yelling ‘Brian thinks your cute!’ Johnny yelled before I heard a big thump and more yelling, I laughed a little and got up to get a drink ‘sorry about that’ I heard Matt say ‘no problem’ ‘they are now wrestling’ ‘well who’s wining?’

‘Brian’ ‘I figured, tell him I think he’s cute to’ ‘Brian, Echo thinks you're cute to’ Matt said and I heard a really in the background ‘yes really you big dope’ Matt said making me giggle ‘alright well we have to go do sound check but we’ll watch your vid afterwards’ ‘alright, have a great time’ ‘we will, bye’ ‘bye’ I said then hung up, set my phone down and turned on the tv and started to have my sandwich. When I was finished I decided to just have a lazy day the rest of the day.
