She heard Mr Rill call her back but Elliot carried on walking. She kept on walking until she was in thee girls toilets. Closing the cubicle door, Elliot sat on the lid. She put her face in her hands and cried softly, making sure no one would be able to hear her.

Now

Elliot stayed in the toilets for the rest of period two and all of her break. Once the bell went for the start of period three there was an announcement.

“Please could Elliot Sanders make her way to the principals office.”

Elliot sighed and got off the toilet seat. She washed her hands and looked at her face, it was a mess. Her make up was totally ruined. Elliot washed it all off and made her way to Mr Fayland’s office.

Knocking on the door she entered and saw four people who she didn’t really want to see.

“Take a seat, Miss Sanders.” Mr Fayland said. Obeying, Elliot sat next to her brother.

“Now, your brother, Mr Sullivan, Mr Haner and Mr Rill are here to discuss about your outgoing in English.”

She sighed and looked over at Matt. He looked…annoyed? Disappointed? Elliot looked at the floor and closed her eyes. This was not happening.

“Mr Rill has informed me that you walked out of class for no reason, why is that?”

“Well…I-I don't know Sir.”

“Addison James said that you were upset earlier on.” said Mr Rill.

Elliot looked up at him and saw no emotion. He didn't care about her well-being.

“I was annoyed. But it’s probably because it’s the first day back.” she lied so easily. Both of the teachers nodded while Matt, Brian and Jimmy frowned.

“What was bothering you? And tell me truthfully.” Matt asked sternly.

Looking back at Matt, Elliot knew that lying to her brother was a big thing, so she made it simple.

“Because Addie kept on asking me if she could spend the night.” it wasn't a lie, but it also wasn't the truth.

“Well that’s not acceptable for walking out of class.” the principal scolded as he looked at Elliot. Elliot sighed and closed her eyes again.

My emotions will not come out, not now, not today, she thought to herself as she took in her day. Heck it was only third period.

“Well seeing as there is only twenty minutes left, I say that you can talk to your carers until fourth period.” Mr Fayland said as he walked out of the office along with Mr Rill.

“Tell us the truth El,” Jimmy said while putting an arm around her. She inhaled a breath and smelt his homely smell. Tobacco, pizza, and there was something else what she couldn't quite catch.

“It’s nothing, honestly.” she replied but not looking at any of them.

“Elliot Amanda Sanders! Tell us what the fuck is the matter!” Brian exploded.

“Brian! I said it’s nothing!” Elliot snapped. She didn't want anyone getting involved. Especially if London Silver was involved.

Jimmy let go of Elliot and she instantly felt cold. He took out his phone and had a smiled on his face.

“Well, I have to go and meet Leana. There’s a surprise for me, if you know what I mean.”

Elliot looked at Jimmy. Of course he was still going out with Leana. How could I forget? Elliot silently asked herself.

“Have fun! But not too much fun! We still need to go back to the studio.” Brian said as he shook his head. Matt winked at Jimmy while Elliot smiled weakly.

He was going off with his girlfriend while she was in the principals office. She properly loved him. Or so she thinks she does. But Jimmy Sullivan would never love her. She knew it all to well.

“Now, are you going to tell us what’s wrong, or are we going to talk more about it when we get home?” Matt asked. Brian looked around his old principals office. Elliot only went here because her brother and sister did, not because it was local.

“Matt, I told you that it as nothing. Now can I go? I have to get my things from my locker for gym class.” Elliot said. Matt looked at her and nodded his head. Brian smiled a bit at her as she walked past him.

“Girls, honestly.” she heard Matt say as she closed the door. Elliot shook her head and walked down a floor to go to her locker.

Walking to her locker she saw that Addie was standing next to it.

“Addie?”

“Elliot! Thank God that you came! Arin said that he saw your brother and his mates coming in school, so I ditched class and waited here. So what’s happened?” Addie said fast.

“Calm down, nothing bad has happened, yet anyway.”

“Yet!? What do you mean yet?”

“Addison Jay James! Calm down! I will tell you just give me time.” Elliot said as she opened her locker and got her gym kit out.

“Hey! You don’t have to use my full name you know!” Addie sulked.

“Well don’t get all hyper then.” Elliot laughed.

“Fine, fine. Now just tell me what went on.”

Before Elliot said a word the bell went off. The two of them made their way to the other building where the changing rooms are without speaking. Elliot was thinking on what to tell her best friend.

“Hey! Elliot!” a boy’s voice shouted as the two girls were about to go into the changing rooms. Elliot turned around and saw Arin.

“Arin, what do you want? I have gym and I need to get dressed quickly, before Miss Croft tells us what were doing.” Elliot said as she walked out of the way from the door.

“I saw your brother and two other guys walking into Mr Fayland’s office before and I was wondering if you was alright. I didn’t see you at break.”

“I’m fine. Text me later, okay. You can come mine along with Addie.”

“Okay, bye El. See you Addie.” the boy ran down the hallway and turned right. The girls laughed at their friend and walked into the changing rooms.

Finding a space to get changed was easy enough. There was a space where certain people would go, and for Addie and Elliot, there space was near the showers. A few girls were there but that didn’t bother them. They both placed their bags on the hooks and got undressed and got dressed into their gym kit.

“Right ladies! Today we're going in the sports hall. There is a team in there and they are going to get you to do some activities.” Miss Croft said as the girls were all dressed. All of them made their way into the sports hall and saw a fitness team. Most of the popular girls all rolled up their short or pulled down their tops while the others made their way to sit down.

“Jimmy then left and Matt was asking what was wrong with me. I was not going to tell him because it involves a certain bitch that we all hate. And said if I wanted to talk about it now or at home, I still didn’t give him an answer and asked if I could go. He just nodded his head. That is why I want you and Arin to come over tonight.”

Elliot finished her story. Addie had a thoughtful look on her face. She sighed and smiled weakly at her best friend.

“You really like him don’t you?” Addie asked,

“What? Like who?”

“James, or better known as Jimmy.”

“Of course I like him, he’s my brothers best friend.” Elliot said, trying not to give it away.

“I know you too well. You are falling for the drummer of your brothers band. Think it out. He has a girlfriend, he’s obviously getting laid, he’s a drummer, he’s you’re brothers friend. For you it’s different. You like him, you're still a virgin, I hope. You can sing but hardly anyone knows and he’s Matt’s best friend. It won’t work out.”

“But you don’t get it. Jimmy has slept, and only slept, in the same bed as me. He always complains about Leana. It could work out.”

“El, I’m warning you now. Please, please don’t get your heart broken by him. I love you too much to see you in pain.”

“Adz, I love you as well but Jimmy is really something, I know he is.”

Addie was going to say something but someone cut them off.

“Hey! You two! Blue haired girl and her friend, are you going to do anything this lesson?” one of the instructors asked as he made his way over to them.

“Were busy,” Addie said and turned her face back to Elliot.

The instructor got mad and turned around to see Miss Croft. He signalled her over.

“Derik, is there something wrong?” she asked politely.

“These two haven't been listening. The brown haired girl was also being rude.” Derik said flatly.

“She wasn’t being rude. She was telling the truth.” Elliot said while standing up.

“Sanders, you don’t really want to get a detention do you? Or do I have to make you one?” Miss Croft asked.

Elliot looked at her gym teacher. Elliot has hated her ever since her first year here.

“Well tell this knob head to watch what he’s saying.” Addie said as she glared at Miss Croft and Derik.

“James, Sanders to the principal’s office, now!” Miss Croft sternly said as she pointed to the door.

“Has Miss Croft caught Elliot Sanders with the football team?” one of the girls said. Elliot looked over and saw London. The girls around her laughed.

Elliot walked over and launched herself at her. The fight began and shouts were made. Miss Croft pulled Elliot away from London.

“Hit a mark there, have we? And some girls have the chance to call me the slut, well we'll soon see about that.”

“Silver, to the nurse’s office. Sanders, James, come with me. Derik, let them get dressed in ten minutes,”

Miss Croft, Addie and Elliot walked to the principal’s office. Neither of them saying anything. Elliot walked slower and stalled a bit. She didn’t want to go back into Mr Fayland’s office again.
She didn’t want her brother coming back down from the studio. She didn’t want to go back into the principal’s office for the second time on the first day.

“Hurry up, Sanders!” Miss Croft exploded. Elliot walked faster and too soon, they were outside his office.

Miss Croft knocked on the door and walked in. Addie and Elliot stayed outside. Miss Croft was in there for a good few minutes before coming back out.

“Come in,” she said as she looked at both of them. Elliot silently walked into the room while
Addie huffed.

“Miss James, why do you think that you are here?” Mr Fayland asked.

“I don’t know, Sir. It might be because you let someone into to the school who is a bad fitness instructor?” Addie asked cockily.

“Miss James, would you like me to bring in your carers in and we talk about your behaviour and attitude?”

Addie’s smirk slipped away from her face. She sighed and shook her head.

“Right then, I guess from what Miss Croft has told me is true, is it?”

“What did Miss Croft tell you?” Addie asked.

“That you called one of our visitors.” Mr Fayland said shortly.

“Well then, I guess I did.”

“And what do you have to say for yourself?”

“I’m sorry and it wont happen again.”

“Good. So I say a months worth of detention after school, every night. Starting tomorrow. Don’t be late, off you go.”

“Okay then,” Addie said as she got up and made her way out. Before she closed the door, she looked over at Elliot and smiled weakly. Elliot didn’t return the smile but faced back at Mr Fayland.

“Elliot, why are you here again?”

“Because I had a fight with London Silver.”

“And why did you have a fight with Miss Silver?”

“Because…she…it’s personal.” Elliot said, trying to find the words.

“Maybe Miss Croft or myself could help you?”

“But you don’t get it. It has something to do with London and myself.”

“Looking through your timetable it looks identical to Miss Silvers. And I spoke to Mr Rill again and he said that you were sitting next to her before you walked out. It all connects.”

“If I could say something, I heard some of what Miss Silver said,” Miss Croft spoke. Mr Fayland nodded his head and looked at his colleague. “I heard her say something about myself apparently catching Elliot with the football team, what does that mean?”

And that when Elliot knew her world was crashing down faster than it had done before.

“I don’t know, Miss,” Elliot lied.

“Well then, why did you have a bad reaction to it?” Miss Croft asked.

“I don’t know.”

She was defeated, and she knew it. Elliot had the choice to either say why she lashed out on London, or a choice to stay in the dark and not say anything.

“I’m afraid that you will have to be isolated, for the rest of the week. After this week I will see how you are and see if you are capable of going back into class. For this time being, I will not call your brother, but I will call your parents. Before you say anything, I know that you and your parents don’t get on, but someone needs to know. You also have two months detention, after school every night. You start tomorrow.”

Elliot just nodded her head. She got up and made her way to the changing rooms. Everyone would be in there right now. The bell went off just as Elliot walked into the changing rooms. Addie was still getting dressed.

“Bad or not?” Addie asked.

“Worse.”

“They phoning Matt?”

“My parents.” Elliot said flatly. Addie sighed and hugged her friend. She knew that Elliot didn’t want to speak so she left it.

Once they both were done they both made their way to their lessons. Elliot made it into Music just before the bell. She sat at the back and thought of solutions in trying to make it all better.
Elliot tried to stay focus but couldn't seem to think straight.

Elliot looked at the clock on the wall, 11:47. Only a few more minutes left, she thought to herself. Her phone vibrated in her skinny jeans. It buzzed a few more times and it stopped.

“Right everyone, I expect you all to get everything done in tomorrow's lesson. I will go over it again, but it has to be done.”

The bell went off and Mr Clarkson let them go. Elliot walked slower than everyone else. She got her phone out from her pocket and looked at her texts.

Matty
You got sent to Mr Fayland’s office again!? Mom told me. She’s not happy with you, neither is
Dad. I’ll see you when you get home.

She expected a lot worse. But what will happen at home? Elliot thought silently.

Amy
Mom, Dad and Matt are upset. I am as well. Matt and Dad told me everything. Don’t make it happen again. Xx

Way to go Matt, now Amy knows! Elliot tried to stay calm but it was building up.

The Knife Master
Matt told us all what happened. Don’t dwell on it, he’s just being protective. From all of us. But me more. :)

Let it be Jimmy to cheer me up, Elliot smiled. She locked her phone and put it back into her pocket. She grabbed her bag and got her lunch out.

“What’s got you smiling?” Addie asked.

“Nothing…” Elliot replied shyly. When ever it was about Jimmy, she got all shy.

“Nothing my ass! Was it Jimmy?” Addie smiled.

Elliot nodded her head and blushed. She hated getting so flustered over one guy.

“Hey ladies,” Arin said as he sat down next to them. Elliot waved and Addie smiled.

“Do you still wanna come round?” Elliot asked. Arin took a bite of his sandwich and nodded his head.

“‘Course I do, I know that if your brother and his friends came into school it must be serious.”

“Okay, well meet me and Addie near the greenhouse.”

“For you, anything.” Arin smiled as he got up and left the two girls. They both looked at each other and laughed.

“He likes you, a lot!”

“Addie, don’t be silly. Richard Arin Ilejay does not like me.” Elliot said with wide eyes.

“Whatever El,”

Lunch went by with Elliot and Addie messing around but not getting in anyone’s way. But soon enough the bell went telling everyone to go to there lesson. For Elliot and Addie the next three lessons went fast. Both of them having all the same lessons. All the teachers did was go over on what they were going to do this year. All the teachers knew how close Addie and Elliot were and they decided to keep them together.

The final bell went and Addie and Elliot made their way to the greenhouse. Arin was their looking around.

“Hey,” he said walking up to them.

“Hi, well you ready to go?” Elliot said as she adjusted her bag. Just at that moment her phone buzzed.

The Knife Master
I’m waiting by the gates with Vengeance.

“Shit!”

“What?” both Addie and Arin said at the same time.

“Jimmy is picking me up. I’ll just tell him that we’re working on something.”

“Who’s he with? Jimmy most of the time has someone with him.” Addie asked.

“Zacky.”

“Okay then, let’s go!” Addie said making her way to the school gates.

“And who says that I’m silly for loving J.O.S?” Elliot shouted.

“But Z.J.B Is different!” Addie laughed.

Jimmy’s car was at the front of the gats with Zacky and himself leaning on his car.

“Jimmy! Zacky!” Elliot shouted while hugging them both.

“Blond-y!” Zacky shouted.

“Hey, I’m not blond and I haven’t been for ages.” Elliot sulked. She hated being blond with all of the blond jokes.

“Sorry El,”

“Elliot, I thought that I was only picking you up?” Jimmy said while looking at Arin and Addie.

“Yeah...change of plan.”

“Okay then, all aboard on to The Knife Master ship!” Jimmy exclaimed as he ran around the car to the drivers seat.

Arin, Addie and Elliot got into the back while Zacky climbed into the front.

The drive was short and tension was building in the air as they got closer. Jimmy pulled up in the driveway.

“Now, I know you don’t want to hear this but Matt is annoyed at you so no back chat for now. Okay chuck?”

“Okay Jimmy,” Elliot said as she climbed out of the car. Arin and Addie followed her and walked into her house.

“Elliot! How could you have a fight!? Who was the girl you had a fight with anyway. And- Arin and Addie are here.” Matt said as he walked out of the kitchen.

“Yeah, were gonna do homework and help Arin with his.” Elliot said as she made her way into the kitchen.

“Oh yeah, Addie your Mom came over before and dropped your things off. She said she wants you to call her, to talk about what happened earlier.” Matt said to Addie. Addie nodded her head and made her way to the backdoor.

“And Arin! How are you?” Matt said while giving Arin a brotherly hug.

“Fine, you?”

“Not bad, and make sure you actually do homework.” Matt then walked out of the room and Jimmy walked in.

“Where’s Addie?”

“Out in the back.”

“She’s in trouble as well?”

Elliot nodded her head and walked over to the fridge. She got out a carton of orange juice and three glasses. Pouring the orange juice into the glass she handed one over to Arin.

Elliot put hers and Addie’s on the table and got out her homework. Arin did the same and waited for Addie to come back in.

“I hate all of the teachers!” Addie said as she slumped into a chair.

“Why?”

“Because Arin, Mr Fayland to my Mom everything! You don’t do that!”

“Calm down Adz!” Elliot said. Addie just put her head on the table and sighed.

“Hey, Elliot, who was the girl that you fought with?”

Elliot looked over at the door and saw all the guys.

“Who’s asking?”

“Me,” said Brian as he stepped closer to her.

“You better all sit down then.”

Everyone sat down and Elliot played with the hem of her t-shirt.

“Anyone we know?” Elliot nodded.

“Who was it then?” asked Johnny.

“London Silver.” she said quietly.

“What the fuck Elliot!” Jimmy shouted as he stood up.

“You don’t get it. Look I know that she’s your girlfriends sister but she’s a bitch.”

“I think it’s best if Arin went home, sorry kid.” Matt said.

“No its fine, I’ll see you two at school.”

Zacky walked him out and came back a few moments later.

“El, you can’t have fights for no apparent reason. London is a nice girl, really!” Jimmy said as he looked at her.

“She’s not she’s a total bitch! You’re only saying that because Leana is her sister and you’re going out with her.” Elliot snapped.

“I’m going home,” Jimmy said as he grabbed his keys.

“Elliot, how could you have a fight? Two times in the principal’s office? Just don’t do it again. We will have a proper talk tomorrow. And no Addie can not come round, sorry Adz.” Matt said as he looked at his little sister.

Elliot nodded her head and carried on with what her and Addie was doing.

That night went by slowly for Elliot. All she wanted to do was curl up into a ball and cry. They all ordered a pizza, but Elliot hardly ate hers. The night was coming to an end and Elliot and Addie got dressed into their pj’s. They watched a film until they were both asleep.
