Missing In Action

Chapter 1

Hi, this is my first story on here so please don't hate me for t. But there might be mistakes because I'm trying to make this an American story, I'm not American. If someone could help me out that would be fab, otherwise please don't put hateful comments. Enjoy.

It was 6:45 in the morning when a brother and sister were arguing. They had completely forgotten that their little sister was still in the house with them, so they shouted at the top of their lungs.

"Amy, I'm just looking out for you! I don't want a sister who gets loved up on one guy, that's a player, then have her heart broken! I won't stand for it!" shouted the eldest.

"Matt! You know that I'm perfectly well of looking after myself! And so what, if he decides to be a player then I will leave him!" shouted the middle child.

Ahh, the sweet melody of hearing siblings argue over something small, but it was not a melody to their little sisters ears, oh no, far from it. Their little sister looked at her alarm clock and saw the time. She didn't have to get up for another thirty five minutes! She angrily pulled off her covers and made her way to her door.

"Why on earth do you two have to shout at this time of the morning?" shouted Elliot Amanda Sanders, the little sister if Amy Marie Sanders and Matthew Charles Sanders.

The elder two turned around and saw their little sister stood by her door. Sleep was still evident to her and her arms crossed over her chest. Elliot's hair was pulled back into a pony tail that was slightly messy. Even though her mother and father disagreed from it, Elliot had dyed her natural blonde hair to a brilliant blue. Her school wouldn't mind, they never did, for example when Elliot got her lip piercing, they just ignored it and carried on with everything, like nothing happened.

"Sorry El," they both said in sync. Both had guilty faces and looked away from her. Elliot's light blue eyes scanned them both. Once she felt that she had scolded them enough she made her way past them and went into the bathroom.

Stripping from her clothes she flicked a switch, turning on the cool water. Elliot sighed once she was in the shower. The water was greeting her in every single way it could. Trickling all over her as she washed her hair and body, getting washed up for the day ahead. She mentally groaned, today was Monday 4th August, the day she had to go back to school.

Getting out of the shower she grabbed the white towel that was on the rack. Drying herself off, Elliot made her way to her bedroom, ignoring her brother and sisters bickering.

Grabbing fresh undergarments from her draw she placed them on and walked over to her closet. She looked through her clothes and found something simple to wear. A short sleeved ‘Linkin Park’ band tee with some black skinny jeans. Placing her clothes on the bed she got out her hair drier and quickly dried her hair.

After drying her hair, Elliot then put her clothes on. Looking in the mirror she decided to change her hair style. Today her hair would be puffed out and have a bandana as a hair band. Once the teens hair was done she went and got her make-up bag. Elliot applied foundation on to her face and rubbed it in so that it blended in, then applied a bit of blusher, added both liquid and pencil eye liner on, then added on her mascara and finished of with a pale pink lip gloss.

“Matt, you do now see why I never tell you thing, don’t you?” Amy asked her older brother.

“Don’t start a screaming fit again, I’ve only just recovered,” Elliot joked covering her ears with her hands while she walked into the kitchen.

Amy and Matt both laughed at her childish tactics and shook their heads.

“So you ready for you’re junior year?” Matt asked Elliot. She sighed and shook her head, no she was not ready for this year.

“Not really, I mean I’m in Statistics for Math and a good set for English, but I still have electives. I don’t want to change them but I don’t’ like them because of the people in the classes.”

“Why?” asked Amy looking over at her sister.

“Most of them hate me,” Elliot said as if it was nothing.

“Why?” Matt asked feeling protective over his youngest sister.

“Because I actually try hard at the subject, not flirt with the teachers or boys.”

“Well at least you try,” Amy said while getting her phone out of her pocket and text someone. Matt glared at Amy’s phone and tried to look over and see who it was.

“Well I’m going to make my lunch and then get going.” Elliot said as she moved over to the counter and make her sandwiches.

“Have fun at school,” Matt joked, still trying to look at Amy’s phone.

“Ha ha, very funny.”

“I know,” he said as she moved over to Amy to give her a hug. Matt then ruffled Elliot’s hair and gave her a bear hug.

Elliot was at school just before the bell. She walked from her house but she wasn’t complaining. Walking took her mind of things. She saw the school bus go past and saw people who she didn’t particularly like. Like London Silver. She has brown hair, hazel eyes and a good figure. She had all the boys she wanted and most of the girls look up to her. Why would they? Elliot thought.

She walked into the school ground and through to reception. She got her timetable and saw that she had alright lessons for the time being. She looked along her lessons.

She was alright with her lessons, but was sad seeing that Study Hall was not there yet. It could be next semester for that to happen, all she had to do was wait until then. Elliot looked along the halls and found her locker, near then end where they have the detention rooms. She looked for number 676, and then found it. She put in her combination and pulled out the books what she would need.

“Elliot!” squealed a girl behind her. Elliot was engulfed by a hug from behind, having a little idea of who it was.

“Addie!” Elliot said in her highest voice, taking the mocking her friend.

Addie punched Elliot lightly on the arm and linked it with hers. She snatched her time table out of Elliot’s hand and compared it to hers. She looked up with a grin on her face.

“We have most of our classes together!”

“Yay,” Elliot said, she was pretending to be happy for her friend but the truth was that she didn’t want Addie to be in her classes. I mean, yeah they are really good friends, but Elliot needed to get a grip this year and not be in any trouble because if her parents found out that she was one toe out of line again, they would move her to a different school.

“Well, I will see you at period one. We don’t have Homeroom, period three or five together, bye.”

Elliot waved after her friend and made her way up to her Homeroom. Her phone beeped and she got it out from her pocket.

Matty

Amy has gone training and I am at the studio for most of the day. If you want I could get one of the guys to pick you up? It will probably be Jimmy or Brian, text me.

Elliot’s heart fluttered. Even in a text she somehow found a way to love him. She had been in love with him since they were younger and when Matt brought him round for dinner. James Sullivan, also know as Jimmy or ‘The Rev’ by her brother, was her long time crush and she can’t seem to get him out of her head.

She text him back replying with a quick okay, and saw her Homeroom. She walked in and found a seat at the back of the room. Once she sat down the bell went of, signalising that everyone should go to Homeroom. Her teacher walked in, Mr Tander, and called on roll and told the school bulletin. Elliot hardly listen as she thought of Jimmy and how she might be able to see him, if it was him that picked her up from school.

She was daydreaming too much that she nearly missed the bell. Bending over to get her bag, Elliot made her way to Latin. She didn't see why people in her class, was in her class. They all seemed to struggle in the language.

"El, over here!" shouted Addie. Elliot made her way over and sat next to her.

"Please don't mess about or anything, I want a good grade this year." Addie nodded her head and looked around the classroom. The walls were purple, the ceiling as white and the floor was wooden.

Everyone soon started to pile into the room. Luckily Addie and Elliot were sat at the back, but most of the popular kids came near them. Once everyone was in the room and sat down they all started to talk about many different things.

"So, can I come round tonight?" Addie said over the whispers.

"I'll ask Matt." Elliot said shortly, she knew that they were all talking about her and she was grateful that Addie was trying to cover them up.

The teacher came in moments later and no one settled down, they only got quieter.

Forty five minutes later, Elliot went straight away as the bell went off. Addie was trying to talk to her, but Elliot could only hear the whispers. If she walked out of her classes Matt or Amy would have to come in again. And she didn't want them coming in. Not again anyway.

She walked into the English class with Addie and sat at the back again. The teacher then came in and smiled at the students in the room. Moments before the bell more people came in.

"Hey Sanders, is it true that you shagged half of the football team?" Elliot knew that voice too well. London Silver. She sighed and looked at her desk. The teacher, Mr Rill, seemed not to notice and announced that there was going to be a seating plan.

Addie moved to the front with Jessie Martin, a boy who was underrated. London moved towards the chair near the door. Everyone was far away from their friends. Mr Rill called Elliot and she saw where he was pointing to, a chair next to London. Elliot dragged her feet and sat next to her.

"Well, remember these seats for tomorrow." said the teacher, then he continued with his lesson.

"Sanders, you didn't answer my question before." London whispered. "It's a simple yes or no answer. So I will ask again, did you shag half the football team."

It seemed that most of the calls heard. More than half laughed. Elliot made a grab for her bag and walked out of the class. She couldn't handle it if she was going to get all that.

She heard Mr Rill call her back but Elliot carried on walking. She kept on walking until she was in the girls toilets. Closing the cubical door, Elliot sat on the lid. She put her face in her hands and cried softly, making sure no one would be able to hear her.

To Be Continued....

Notes

So this story had decided to post. Then while I was editing it, it deletes. Sorry if it's crappy.

Comments

I liked it at first but honestly there`s too much drama.. No decent older brother, especially not Matt, would be this shitty to their sister.

Okay, I just read this whole story from the start in one session. And I absolutely LOVED it!
All of your characters (including A7X) are AMAZING. I connected with all of them, really liking Elliot and Hannah and the friendship that bonded over them in the later chapters. Though the relationship between her and Jimmy pissed me off because of how backwards and forwards it went, and the cheating too, but it all connected with the story and it made me keep on reading.
Also, the sisters Leana and London, you developed them awesomely... though I hate them with a passion because of how cruel they are to El!
So I know these other comments were posted up months ago but I really do hope you do more chapters very, very soon! I've given this a full rating and I've subscribed :)
