Katelyn POV

It is so heartbreaking listening to Brian on the phone, especially when he was telling me, no, begging me to do as asked. He has no idea that if I do so he’ll be thrown into jail instead of Rick. He didn’t even let me finish the sentence, and I got hit again by this douchebag, Man 2. Now it seems plans have changed, as both men have agreed for Brian to come over here. What is their plan? Are they going to hurt him, kidnap him? Is he going to come alone? I bet that he’s not alone right, he won’t handle himself.
I am sitting down on the chair as both men are discussing something. I try to listen carefully but they are too quiet, too careful not to let me hear them. I need to do something, anything. I cannot just sit here all day long until Brian comes here.
I notice one of the men bringing out my phone and dialing once more. Now what?! He stands quietly, both of them looking at me.
“Hey Brian. Just one last thing. Come alone, don’t try any jokes on us today, you can save lives!” and he hangs up, not giving Brian any chance to respond.
“What are you going to do?!” I ask them quietly, almost whispering.
“What is that?!” one of the man cocks his eyebrow at me.
“I said what are you going to do? What is your plan?!” I ask them one more time.
“That is none of your damn business. Just sit tight until he comes around” both of them chuckle, making me close my eyes in disgust. The level of hatred that I have right now in my system is unmeasurable.

Couple of minutes have passed, still no sign of Brian. The men are talking, far away from me, discussing something good as both of them are focused in their discussion. Now is my time to act.
“Can I have some water? I am thirsty” I tell them.
“Well fucking wait!” one of them angrily replies.
“Fine. I won’t make any good difference if I die of dehydration here, right now”
Both of them sigh and start walking towards me. One of them stops in front of me while the other goes into the back room.
From the back room we hear, “Hey Sam, there is no water here. Can you bring some from the car?”
“Fine!” ‘Sam replies and goes to the car.
As there is no sign of both men, I quickly and cautiously stand up from my chair, throw the camera to the ground and start running with all my strength.
“SHIT!! SAM SHE’S COMING OUT OF THE GARAGE, HOLD HER! MOTHERFUCKER!!” the other man yells from the inside as I hear him running after me.
I run to the other direction of the car, when I feel my hair being pulled with such force that I fall backwards and hit my head to the ground.
“That is why you wanted the water you bitch!! Take that!!” Sam tells me, opening the tap of the bottle and empty it on me. My hands are on my head, as I close my eyes feeling the water being thrown at me. Then I feel a sharp pain on my ribs which makes me turn around and scream loud.
One of the men holds both of my hands to the ground as the other one towers over me. With his knee he hits my crotch area, and he hits me again, and again. Right now I’m crying with pain and I lay helplessly on the floor.

As they are laughing their asses off, they get hold of me, pull me up and take me back inside. Danny shoves me to the chair at one go.
“Trying to outsmart us huh?! Now you have realized that it is a very DUMB idea to do so, and to even think about it!” he yells in my face.
I notice Sam coming towards me with several pieces of thin rope. He gives some to Danny and both of them start tying my hands and feet to the chair. I close my eyes as I realise that now I stand no chance to try and run again from them.
Sam goes to the camera and lifts it up. He starts pushing some buttons and Danny goes by his side to help him.
“Thank god that this camera is still working, or else I would fucking kill you with my own bare hands!” Danny exclaims while Sam is grinning while still pushing some buttons.
“Okay, it is good to go” Sam nods his head.
“Everything working fine?!” Danny asks.
“Yeah it’s almost like brand new, if you don’t notice the scratches”
“Perfect. Now Katelyn, we’re going to try one last time. Look over here and do what you’re asked to do” Danny tells me, with all that ‘bossy’ voice, the one I truly hate.
I stand still, removing some of the blood that I have on my face and nose from the hits I have received.
“You’re worsening the situation, threatening your own and the others’ lives. And trust me, I keep my word and right now I would be pleased in doing so as you have made me even pissed off than before, fucking cunt!” Sam threatens me.
I feel scared but I don’t give in. I try to maintain this fake courageous look on my face, the one that shows them that I am not feeling threatened by them. Even though I would be lying. I can’t bear to think about the others, their lives in danger because of me. But I am not going to do this video, Brian doesn’t deserve it. Even if I have to pay for it with my own life. It would be worth it.


Brian POV

“No, no that’s crazy! We are coming with you Brian!” Matt yells through the phone. I just have told them about the text that Danny and Sam had sent me, and the others are not pleased. Not one bit, including myself.
“Yeah but right now they’re ahead of the game and we have to play along. Katelyn’s life is at risk, I don’t want to risk her life just for the sake of everyone being there!” I try to explain, reason out why we should obey these dicks.
“Fucking bullshit!!” Matt screams again and I hear him hitting something.
“Guys, we should get going!” Zacky says eagerly from the back seat. I can’t agree more so I signal Jason to start the car engine, and drive as fast as he could to go and get Katelyn back.
We are not that far from our destination, but fuck, I’m feeling like we are crossing the damn world!
“Matt, I’m going to end the call. Leave a couple of minutes and then come meet us there. Maybe Zacky will call you when to do so” I explain as then I hung up.

Jason decides to park a bit far away from the garage where they are holding Katelyn. Hurriedly I get out of the car and notice Zacky and Jason doing the same.
“No you guys stay here! I have to go inside there alone”
“What?! I understand not telling the others, less people. But going there alone, when they are at least two persons, possibly armed. Fuck no Haner!!” Jason reasons out with me.
“Do you think I want to go there alone?! Fuck no! I want all of you to come and beat the shit out of their asses while I hold on to Katelyn. But I cannot do that! You stay right here, I will call you when to come, promise!” I tell them as I start running down the block. I start roaming all the garages, damn there are a lot!! Then I notice one garage with the doorway open. I open the door with a bang and step inside.

“BRIAN!!” Katelyn screams as one of the men holds her.
“Fuck! Katelyn you okay?!” I notice that she is tied up with the wooden chair and I can see bruises and dried and fresh blood on her pale body.
“WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO HER YOU MOTHERFUCKERS?!” I yell as one of them points the gun at Katelyn, which makes me stop talking and stop moving. “I told you not to touch her” I coldly tell them.
“Well, we had a pretty good reason for doing this. She wouldn’t fucking obey, and we need to do the goddamn video!” the guy who is pointing the gun at crying Katelyn explains.
The other guy comes next to me and starts pointing the gun at me. I put my hands up as I sign that I am not armed, while I look at Katelyn.
“NO! DON’T YOU FUCKING HURT HIM!” Katelyn screams while she sobs.
“We won’t hurt him, unless you start talking to the camera. You know the drill” one of them says. He then looks at me, “And by the way, you got the names correct. I am Sam”.
I narrow my eyes at him but then look at Katelyn.
“What do you need to say?” I ask her softly, trying to calm her down.
“No, Brian don’t. I am not going to say anything to the goddamn camera!” she tells me with pleading voice and tearful eyes. Why is she struggling in doing so? What is the price of this video?

As I am thinking about all this, I feel a blow to my side of my body which makes me crouch in pain. He fucking hit me with his gun! I hiss at him but he immediately starts pointing the gun at me again and charges it.
“NO DON’T!! PLEASE!!” Katelyn yells.
“Then fucking do as you’re told bitch!” he yells in her face. She replies with a spit in his face and he smacks her face twice, and very hard. My blood is boiling and I charge myself but Danny pulls me back.
“You will pay for that you dick!” I tell Sam.
“Not my fault, both of you will suffer if she doesn’t do the tape!”
Sam then cuts all the ropes that are tied around her hands and legs and make her stand up. He holds her from her arms and points the gun to her face while he looks at me. Katelyn closes her eyes, clearly agitated and scared from the situation. Well fuck so am I.
“Katelyn, Katelyn just open your eyes sweetie” I tell her softly. Slowly she opens her eyes and looks at me. I forget anything and anyone that is surrounding us at the moment and I just focus on her, and on our connection.
“Just do your video. Please, do it for me” I try to reason out with her.
She gives me a small smile, tears strolling down her face. “What I’m doing is for you Brian”.
“What do you mean?!” I ask, feeling confused.
“They want me to blame you for everything Rick has done. And then Rick will get out of jail. I don’t want that to happen Brian, you know I don’t” she smiles again.
What the fuck?! He fucking pig!! How can he ask her to do that, selfish bastard! But I cannot tell her my thoughts, I need to convince her to do it. Fuck, I’ll be in jail. But I cannot risk something else. I have seen how Sam is looking at Katelyn and he is scaring the shit out of me that he will do something to her. I don’t want her to get hurt more.
“Just do it Katelyn, please”.
She glares a surprise look at me, “What?! Even you?! Don’t you get it?! No, I don’t want you to suffer for the actions that he did. No, he deserves to be in jail. Not you, what the fuck!?”
“If you love me Katelyn, just do it” I say with a crushed heart.
“Don’t play that card with me Brian, it’s not fair. You know I love you” she cries.
“Then do the video. Please” I plead.
“No-one is going to change my mind. Not even you. No, I will not do it”
