Katelyn POV

3 weeks has passed since I left my hometown, and well, my friends. I’ve been doing much better – I’m having a blast with Isabelle. She’s very similar to Nina, so we are getting a lot pretty well. She’s 24 years old, gorgeous, tall, thin, dark hair with blue eyes, and loves bands as well. Natalia came and visited us a couple of times as well. We usually hang out in Isabelle’s house, or else we go out to a bar.

At first I kept thinking about the others: Nina, Matt, Zacky, Johnny, Arin Jason, Matt, Brian….Brian. I can’t believe that I actually confessed my feelings to him. But at the moment I felt that that was the best for the situation. I needed to tell him why I over-reacted to the Alexandra situation. He called me several times during these 3 weeks but I kept my word. I only picked up to his phone calls three times: once a week. He told me that they were writing some material for their new songs and should start having band meetings soon before they actually start recording. He even told me that they’re planning some surprise shows for the fans, before the albums actually comes out. Also, I have talked with Nina. She told me that she had a one night stand with Matt the night that I left from home. I could not believe it, had to admit that I did not see it coming. She swore to me that it was just a one-time thing, nothing more. Right now I’m remembering the conversation we had on the phone a while back.


“So, Katelyn, you found a guy or something?”
“Jesus Nina, you for real? I’m just having fun, enjoying while I can. And you know why I’m doing this? To actually forget a guy, so no, there is no guy”, I tell her.
“Oh come on you need to chill! Some people are so serious about hook-ups!”
Okay, why did she actually say that? “Is there something I’m missing miss?”
“To be honest, yeah I had a one night stand, couple of nights ago. The night you left, actually”.
“WHAT?! And you’re telling me now?! Come on!! Who is he? Do I know him? How was it? Was he good?” I asked her, maybe a tad too excited.
“Fucking hell, one question at a time. Well, yeah you do know him, you know him pretty well actually”
“You’re killing me with curiosity right now. Just tell me who for God’s sake!”
“Matt”
“What, Matt Sanders? THE Matt Sanders?”
“Yeah that’s the one!” I hear her chuckle when I mention his name.
“You’re fucking with me right now!” I can’t believe it.
“Nope it’s true, I swear” she laughs again.
“SHIT! Spill the beans, woman. Like, right now!” I demand information about this one.
“Well, I’m not going to tell you everything miss. But, god, Katelyn, it was amazing. He was amazing. The way he made me feel, and sweet Jesus he’s so good with… “
I cut her off. “Okay okay, maybe enough with the horny details huh? So was it just a one-time thing what?”
“Yeah, just a one night stand. Although I have to say, I can’t forget that night”
“You consider sleeping with him again? Oh I know you do, I know you too well!”
“Yeah I won’t mind. God, I want to experience that again. But no strings attached, that’s for sure” she sounds certain.
“Friends with benefits? Fuck buddies?” I laugh while saying so, and she does the same.
“I can’t say huh? I guess we have to wait and see”

For now, she said that nothing again happened between these two. She even told me that she was spending more time with the guys. Apparently they go to each other house’s to see and listen to the new material written by them.
Damn I miss them. Maybe I should go back, soon.


Matt POV

“What the fuck is that?” I hear Johnny telling me and Brian. Right now we’re hanging at Brian’s house and we’re trying to write some new material for our new album. We have been writing both lyrics and music, and today we’re focusing on some cool guitar riffs.
“You don’t like that?!” Brian tells him, he seems mad.
“Are you for real? It sounds like a hen trying to lay some fucking eggs”.
Brian curses something, stands up and puts the guitar down, going for some beer. “You’re the only one who dislike it”.
“No I don’t dislike it, I hate it” Johnny continues.
“Short shit. I think the music sounds different, down there”, Zacky replies, standing up and pointing downwards at Johnny. As usual, Johnny flips him off.

Nina starts laughing hard, she’s actually laughing on the floor, breathless. Hearing her breathless is actually reminding me of that night we had amazing sex together. That night she was breathless, so was I. I kept thinking about that night, over and over again, replaying her face when she was seeing the starts. So beautiful, so intense. But we had agreed on a one night stand thing, that’s why we did it anyway. Because according to her I needed to enlighten a little bit. Oh how I wish it was a two night stand, maybe more.

I notice Nina is staring at me right now, so are the guys.
“What?” I ask them quickly, coming back to my senses.
“Oh welcome back mister Sanders”, Zacky tells me, hitting me hard on my back, “we asked you whether we’re going to keep this riff or not”.
“I guess we’re not if Johnny disagrees”.
“You have to be the fucking one who ruins fucking everything” Brian yells at him. He’s still mad.
“What?! If I don’t like it?!”
“You’re the only fucking one, the others all like it”. He grabs his beer and his packet of cigarettes, “Whatever, I guess we have to change that. I’m going out for a smoke”.

As Brian leaves, I head to the kitchen to bring more beers for us. As I enter the room I bump into someone. It’s Nina.
“You didn’t see me huh?!” she asks me, “if I were Johnny I’d understand but hey, I’m not”.
She catches up to our jokes quickly. “Oh you sure ain’t Johnny, trust me”. As I tell her that, I can’t not notice her hard nipples peaking from her blue shirt.
“Hey boy, eyes up here” she puts one finger under my chin and lifts up my face.
“Yeah, I guess I got distracted”, I smirked at her, as she pouts at me.
“Oh sure, you get distracted that easily huh?”
“Actually, it’s because I pictured your naked body in front of me. Then of course, I get distracted”.
She looks at the floor, smiling and her cheeks light red. Then she looks back up to me and whispers in my ears, “And I was thinking about this” as she squeezes my behind tightly. A moan escapes from my mouth and she chuckles in my ears. A phone ringing startled both of us, it was Nina’s.

“Seriously, it’s like you have an alarm or something that goes off when you’re with me” I tell her pissed off. I was thinking about kissing her, now it’s ruined. Fucking as usual.
“Yeah I know right!? But hey, it’s just a text this time”, she winks at me and sits down on a stool. Then I notice her grinning a big smile as she was reading the text.
“It’s from Katelyn! She says hi to you all and that she misses us and hopes to come back soon.”
“That’s great, but tell her to come home soon” I tell Nina to text Katelyn. She looks at me, smiling, but then her reaction is flushed. She looks at something after me, with a sad look on her face. I turn around and find Brian at the door.

He then passes by, grabs his guitar and another bottle of beer and goes outside near the pool alone. He starts writing some notes and practicing on his guitar.
“She’s barely texting him, I guess he’s pissed that she texts you and him nothing” I tell Nina, my hand around her waist as we watch outside the window at Brian.
“Yeah, and honestly, I don’t blame either of them for how they’re feeling right now”.

Nina rests her head backwards, on my chest and I hear her sigh. I put my other hand around her, touching her with the cold bottles of beer which makes her shiver a little bit. At that moment the doorbell goes off and we look at each other. We weren’t expecting anyone else to join us. Than Nina’s look changes, she becomes excited, turns and grabs me from my shirt.
“Shit! Are you thinking what I’m thinking?!” she asks me.
Could it be possible? She came back?
Nina goes running at the door, almost tripping over the carpet in the corridor. I went after her, while motioning to Brian to come inside. He was already standing up, staring inside, with his guitar on the ground, like he was waiting for the person to be revealed.

Nina finally opens the door, and I cannot believe who is waiting there.

Notes

Katelyn admits that she wants to go back to her friends, soon.
Hmmm who do you think is at the door? What about Nina and Matt..should they make it a 2-night stand or just leave it as it is? ;)
