Dancing Girl

Katelyn POV
A month passed since the day I was kidnapped by Rick. Throughout this month, I have been going to therapy to help me forget some of the bad things and bad memories. I was given some pills to help me sleep at night. Also, I was given some time off from the strip club, they have understood my position and decided to give me a month off while still paying me. I’ve spent most of this month with Brian and the guys, as well as Nina. They were doing the best they could not to leave me alone at any time, especially Arin and Matt who were always staying by my side at all cost. Brian visited me regularly, and when he couldn’t, he phoned me instead. He gave me some space, which I think was needed on my behalf. I needed to learn to love my body again, at least how I used to, and to learn that I shouldn’t let 1 horrible event ruin my life.

During therapy session we even tackled sex issues. At first, the doctor told me it was evident that I was getting agitated, even by hearing the word sex as I was under shock. By time, session after session, sometimes being too intense for me to handle, the doctor told me I was improving. I attended most sessions alone, a personal decision. Other times Brian came with me to support. He was there with me when I had to re-tell what happened when they raped me. I remember he was holding my hand throughout that intense session. It wasn’t easy for me, I broke down several times, but still, afterwards he whispered the words “I’m proud of you” in my ears. Today’s therapy was a successful one. The doctor told me I did great progress and in fact I’m done from the pills.

I shall be returning to work today. I’m kind of having mixed feelings about this. It is bringing some memories of Rick back, but at the same time I’m stoked to be on stage again. I always enjoyed performing, especially with Nina. This week we have been rehearsing some songs together. Let me tell you, it is going to be sexy. Performing on stage it’s going to be different now. I know that Brian is going to be there watching me. We are not in a relationship and have nothing serious going on between us, but we both desire each other even though we only had sex 2 times and kissed just a couple of times. Although it’s been more than a month since I last kissed him.

Despite this, last week something weird happened. A cousin of his, Andrew, came to town and he brought a girl with him to go on a date with Brian. Brian wasn’t aware of that obviously, and after explaining everything to me he still agreed to go on that date. Afterwards he told me that nothing happened between the two of them, and I think he was not lying, but I was still disappointed that he actually agreed to go on this date. Nina told me that I was jealous, even though there was nothing between me and Brian. Was I actually having some deeper feelings for him?
Anyways, rehearsing with Nina helped me to forget everything and just think about me. I’m looking forward to perform it at ‘Scream’ and to make Brian yearn for me.


Brian POV

We’re on our way to ‘Scream’. Damn, we haven’t been there in quite a while. Apparently Laura has been begging Johnny to go and see her perform, and well tonight we will grant her wish true. Today Katelyn should be back to work as well. We have grown closer in these past couple of weeks, but I was careful not to make her uncomfortable like that night she told me what happened to her. In fact, we got to know each other more, it’s nice.

“Hey Brian, when are you going to meet Alexandra again?” Zacky asks me. Alexandra is the girl I went on a date with, thanks to Andrew. I felt uncomfortable declining the request, even though I knew that Katelyn wouldn’t be so pleased about it.
“Dude, I’m not seeing Alexandra. It was a one-time thing. Forget it!”
“Is it because of Katelyn?” Arin asks me. I look at him.
“I don’t know. All I know is that there is nothing between Alexandra and me. That’s all.”
I slam the door shut after me, as we have arrived at the venue.
“Dude, chill! We just asked you a question, that’s all” Zacky said, putting his hands up as a defense.
“Well, and then I fucking answered you back!”

As we are entering the club, I notice a new management team. Even the security people are different. As usual, we head to the VIP area and buy our booze which we’re going to need for the night. I text Katelyn that we have arrived, but she doesn’t text back. Hmmm, that’s weird. On the other side I can see Johnny already with Laura, Jason capturing pictures of these two. I’m sure he’s going to make fun of Johnny sooner or later. Some strippers come up to offer their service, but I make sure that I’m distant from all of them. I only need one, I only want one. Her. I need her.

With a violet backdrop, I notice a large champagne glass with two silhouettes in it. They start moving and dancing sexily alone, their backs facing us. Once the light changes, they turn together, splashing some champagne from the glass. I move towards the railings, slowly sipping from my drink. Katelyn and Nina. They were dancing together, in their lingerie and suspenders. Katelyn put both her feet up in the air, as she starts moving one downwards with the other, while looking at me. She breaks the eye contact by moving towards Nina, as they splash some champagne from their hair. They grab their hands together, moving backwards. Then, they move towards each other, leaning towards each other very slowly as they caress each other’s’ arms. Katelyn stops as Nina comes forwards and gives her a light peck on her lips. At this instant the whole club went insane, screaming in pleasure and asking for more. And their wish was granted.

I can’t help but move my collar and tie a little bit, damn I was feeling all hot all of a sudden. I gulp down my Jack. I was certain why I was feeling like this. Once the kiss between the two of them was over, Katelyn looks at me again and gave me a smirk and continued dancing sexily to the loud music of the club. The Katelyn I’m seeing dancing is totally different than the Katelyn I was getting to know this part month. I couldn’t help but smile and wink the next time she looks at me again. Once the music is over, they give some air kisses as the crowd is still cheering for both of them.
“Holy shit! Now that was something else”, Matt B says while patting my back. “You’re one lucky man, you know that right?”
“I think I forgot how to breathe while they were dancing in that champagne glass”, Zacky continues.
I just smile and pour some more alcohol for myself. I sit down, open my black blazer and just re-call what I just have seen. I feel my phone vibrating in my jacket, and my eyes are wide open as I see that it is from Katelyn.

Katelyn POV

“'If you’re not busy anyways'. Katelyn, what the fuck did you just send him?” Nina was mimicking the text I just sent Brian. Our eyes met several times during the performance, and I am 100% sure that he liked it!
“What? I want to hang out with him, but if that chick comes along I’m not going to stay there”.
“You think she’s going to come?”
“I don’t know. He doesn’t mention her. Once he told me that there was nothing between the two of them, but…fuck I don’t know. I shouldn’t be thinking about this right now. Let’s clean ourselves, get ready and get the hell out of here” I tell her, while grabbing my stuff from the bag.

After half an hour, both of us are doing our final touches. I have decided to wear suspenders under my black dress, I was feeling good. We head out from the backstage and go down the stairs to get next to the bar. I look upwards towards the VIP section and sadly notice that Brian isn’t there. My heart sunk, at the thought of him leaving me behind. I skim through the crowd, there is too much people I can’t really recognize anyone. Nina is talking to a guy, so I decide to move by the bar and order us some booze.

“Hey there stranger”, someone says softly in my ear, feeling the breath on my skin that it actually gives me chills. I cannot help but smile as I recognize the voice. So I turn to meet him.
“Hey yourself”.
“I noticed that you were looking for me. I felt bad for you so I decided to come and find you myself instead” Brian cockily says.
“How good of you!” I chuckle.
“So, who came up with the idea of the dancing in a glass and the champagne huh?” he asks, while he moves next to me, putting some money on the bar to buy some drinks.
“Well, it was both of us, but mainly my idea” I say proudly.
“Not bad at all Miss K. You know how to capture a guy’s attention let me tell you that”.

He then brings out his phone and show me a text, the same text I sent him earlier on.
“Yeah that’s my text. What about it?”, I tell him, trying to make sense out of the situation.
“Can you tell me why you wrote ‘if you’re not busy’?”, doing the signs with his hands.
“No I just wanted to know whether you had any plans with that chick of….” He cuts me off with his laughter. “What’s so funny?” I tell him, still serious, not understanding what I said to make him laugh like that.
“Alexandra? That was just a one-time thing. There’s nothing between me and her I swear.”
I ask the question I’ve been dreading to ask for a while now. “Did something happen?”
“Do you really want to know?”, his sexy smile fading away from his beautiful face. I nod at his question, he leans forward and whispers, “Nothing more or better than what we did, I can assure you”.

I open my mouth to protest since he didn’t really answer, but he puts his fingers on top of my lips to shush me. “I don’t want to spend the night talking about her. I would rather do something else, let me tell you”.
“Like what?” I ask him innocently, although deep in my heart I was hoping for a particular answer.
“Like…this”, and he captures his lips with mine. The kiss was sweet and soft, very sensual that it almost made me forget that we’re in public. I get up from the stool and move over to him, careful not to break our kiss. I dug my fingers in his hair and felt him grinning against my lips. I pull away from the kiss and look into his eyes.
“What?” he smiles at me.
“Nothing. I just…..I feel… I think I’m ready”.
He looks at me, I can’t really read his expression. But I think he understood me perfectly, as he grabs my hand and we head out of the club.

Notes

After some intense therapy, Katelyn is on her way back to her old self :D
