Fire Inside

I was being woken up, which I was very unhappy about because I had just gotten to bed a few hours ago but it was ok because I was very excited, today was the day I was going on tour with my dad and his band for the first time. They were touring with Avenged Sevenfold so I would be able to meet them which I was very happy about because I had a little bit of a fan girl crush on M. Shadows ‘DEEEVVVVVVVV’ I heard my dad yell from downstairs, I knew it wasn’t time to go yet because we weren’t leaving until this afternoon but he probably made breakfast so I got outta bed in my tank top and mini sleep shorts and ran down the steps and into the kitchen and tackled him to the ground

‘oof god child what have I been feeding you’ ‘hey!’ I pouted and slapped his chest; he laughed and looked up at me as I sat on his waist ‘I'm guessing you're excited about today’ ‘of course! I can’t wait!’ I smiled and he smiled back then sat up so I got off him and helped him up. ‘here, eat your breakfast’ he said and handed me a plate with a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on it ‘thank you daddy’ I smiled big and kissed his cheek ‘yeah yeah’ ‘I love you’ I said as I pranced into the living room and sat on the couch to watch some cartoons, Fairy Odd Parents to be exact ‘yeah you better love me!’ he yelled after me and I giggled a little then started eating.

After a few minutes dad sat next to me and rested his arms on the back of the couch ‘have you packed?’ ‘mhm just gotta make sure I have everything I need in my purse’ ‘that thing is a black pit’ he chuckled and I glared at him playfully then sat my plate on the coffee table and leaned against him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and rubbed my upper arm a little, we’ve always been close since he’s all I've got. ‘Are the guys coming over here or are we stopping at their houses?’ ‘They should be coming here but I don’t-‘ DING DONG!! We heard and I just looked up at him then got up and walked over to the door, when I opened it Dan, Mike and John were standing there with their things ‘morning boys’ I smiled and they smiled back then walked in when I walked back into the living room to grab my plate

‘Hey guys’ I heard my dad call, they called back then set their things by the door as I walked into the kitchen. When I walked back out everyone was sitting on the couch ‘when’s the bus coming pops?’ ‘Pops? Oh come on I'm not that old’ he whined and I smiled then kissed his cheek ‘sorry, I'm gonna shower and make sure I have everything. Let me know when the bus gets here’ ‘alright’ he nodded and I walked up to my room. I made sure I had everything then hopped in the shower, washed my hair, body and shaved everywhere. I got out and just wrapped a towel around myself because I forgot to bring clothes with me and I wanted to wear the clothes I just had on sometime on tour so I grab them up and walked downstairs and into the laundry room to wash them and since it was only two things it was only going to take about 5 minutes to wash and maybe 20 to dry.

When I was going back upstairs my dad called me over ‘yes?’ ‘Oh sorry’ he said and I shrugged ‘what's up?’ ‘Can you grab my coffee off the counter?’ ‘You have legs’ ‘but you're already up’ he smiled and I rolled my eyes, walked back into the kitchen to get his coffee then walked back over to hand it to him ‘I'm not getting you anything else’ ‘ok ok, go put some clothes on’ ‘awwwww I can’t go like this?’ ‘you might give the roadies a heart attack’ Mike said and I smiled then leaned over and kissed his cheek ‘thank you’ I smiled then walked away and back up to my room.

I dropped the towel and got changed into some black leather shorts, a black tank top and my black and white high tops. I did my hair and makeup then made sure I had everything I needed in my purse and I put my phone charger and makeup bag in there also. ‘Babe your clothes are done!’ I heard my dad yell so I went and collected them then came back and put them in my duffle bag. I checked my room one last time then grabbed my purse and bag and headed downstairs, I set both bags by the door with the rest of them then went and squeezed in next to Mike and John on the couch and we chilled until the bus got there.
