Two Worlds
Sessions
Remember how I said I don't talk much? Well in this session is no different then the rest. While Ms. Blake kept trying to get me to "Tell her how I feel" I stayed mute. They weren't going to get anything out of me that they wanted. As much as they claimed they wanted to help they couldn't. They hadn't been through what I have so how could their words of its it the past help me? My friends and music are what helped me. Not this lady in a white blousse and black pencil skirt. She contined to talk as I traced desings on my stomach. The best part about these sessions was purely the couch we got to lay on. It was better than our beds!
"Kalico, you can go. I can see we aren't getting anywhere still with this." Ms. Blake finally let out.
It was the same sentince she said every wednesday and I never got tired of hearing those words of freedom. Jumping up from the couch, I made my way down to the lunch room, hoping Violet and Brandy were done with their sessions, too.
"So how did your session go?" I asked, taking a chair next to Brandy after grabbing my lunch.
"I didn't yell at her this time if that counts?" She laughed. She had a habbit of yelling in the sessions because her lady never shuts up.
It was true too. Her therapist filled in for mine one day and she just talked and talked the entire time. Saying that if I would talk to them I'd be better and maybe a family would want me agian and blah, blah, blah. So I can't say I really blame her for yelling at the old fat lady.
"I, on the other hand, did yell." Violet laughed.
"Why did you yell?" I asked leaning on the table to see her better.
"I just felt like it was going to be fun if I did and you know what? It really was. Scared the hell out of Miss. Robertson too! It was the greatest moment of my life." Violet smiled.
My friends were just crazy. Thats all I could say about them really if someone was to as how they acted. Just plain crazy. I wouldn't want them any other way thought. They entertained me greatly even when I don't want to smile they always manage to make me happy.
"Maybe next we I should have a freak out. See if I can get Ms. Blake to panic."
"Dude! If you did that I think she'd scream! You've never even made so much as a noice around her. That would be great!"
