Abby did get out of the hospital the next day and right now we were on our way home after grabbing her some non-hospital food ‘baby?’ I asked and she looked over at me, she hadn’t slept and her eyes were a little red ‘do you wanna take a nap after you eat?’ ‘I don’t know if I can sleep yet’ she whispered and I nodded as I pulled into the driveway, we both got out and headed inside and into the living room. I had cleaned up her blood this morning before I came to get her and I threw out the bugs in the pizza box

‘can I lay with you tonight?’ she asked as we sat down on the couch, I nodded and pulled her close to me ‘I swear to you baby girl, I will never ever let you get hurt again’ I said softly as I rubbed her back, she nodded and curled into my side more ‘come on, you have to eat’ I said as I leaned over to the coffee table and handed her the Chinese food she wanted, she nodded and opened it as I put on a movie that was on the on demand listings.

I grabbed my food also and leaned back against the couch and put my feet up on the table as Abby leaned back into my chest. We didn’t say anything, we just ate and watched the movie together. I really hope she pulls out of this, I want my baby back but if she starts going through hell then I'm going to be there for her the whole time. ‘daddy?’ I heard and I looked down to see Abby looking at me with sleepy eyes ‘nap?’ I asked and she nodded so I turned off the tv, put our empty food containers on the table and picked her up bridal style and carried her up to my room.

I sat her on the bed and pulled off her shoes for her, I had just gotten her some sweatpants and a tank top to go home in. I pulled down the covers and helped her lay down then got in beside her and pulled her close to my chest, she laid her head down and was out almost instantly. ‘oh the things I’d do for you’ I whispered as I ran my hand over her back softly, I watched her sleep for a bit because I wasn’t tired then I heard a knock on the door so I sighed and very carefully got up so I didn’t wake her and went downstairs.

I looked through the peephole and saw that it was Matt and the guys so I opened it and told them to quietly come in ‘where’s Abby?’ Johnny asked and I sighed ‘she’s upstairs finally asleep’ ‘good, so what’s going to happened about tour?’ ‘nothing, she’s coming with us. I'm never letting her out of my sight again. The police said that we should go anyway because it’ll be harder for the guy to find her with us always moving’ I said and he nodded as he perched on the arm of the couch ‘I still can’t believe something like this happened to her’ Matt said and I nodded ‘at least she’s alive’ Zack said and we all nodded again, the guys decided to stay and watch movies with me while we waited for Abby to wake up.

‘daddy?’ I heard being whispered from behind me so I turned and saw Abby standing at the bottom of the steps rubbing one of her eyes like a small child would if they just woke up ‘come here baby, you're uncles came to see you’ I said and she nodded and walked over to the living room and hugged everyone then cuddled up to me. I wrapped my arms around her tight and smiled ‘you left’ she whispered so only we could hear ‘I'm sorry baby, I didn’t wanna wake you up after they knocked on the door’ I whispered back and she nodded then laid her head back on my chest and watched the movie with us.

Once it was over we decided on ordering some dinner, which wasn’t pizza by the way, and we all sat around and ate together until Abby passed out again ‘hey Matt can you put her in her room for me, I have to do something’ I said and he nodded and stood up, walked over and picked her up gently. She cuddled into his chest and I caught his small smile as he walked up the steps ‘what do you have to do?’ Zack asked and I sighed ‘I think I need to get her into therapy’ I said and he nodded then looked down at his hands ‘if you think that’s best for her then maybe but why don’t we see what happens on tour and you can decide then’ Jimmy said as he moved a little closer to me,

I nodded and sighed ‘I just hope she’s gonna be ok. I don’t want her to stop talking again because of this’ ‘she won’t, she has you and she has us and you know we’ll protect her’ ‘yeah I know, I just want her to be ok’ I whispered and he nodded then hugged me, I hugged back then settled back into the couch ‘she said she won’t sleep unless some one’s with her’ Matt said as he re-entered the living room, I nodded and went to stand but he stopped me ‘I’ll take this shift’ he said and I nodded then watched as he went back upstairs.

::Matt’s POV::

I walked back into Abby’s room and smiled, she was all curled up and waiting for me so I took off my shoes and shirt and crawled into bed with her. Abby cuddled into my side as I wrapped my arm around her back and pulled her tight against me ‘you're going to be a great dad you know’ she whispered and I looked down at her, she was already looking up at me with her sad grey eyes. I pushed some hair out of her face and smiled ‘thank you’ I whispered and she nodded then laid back against my chest and shut her eyes

‘Will you sing to me?’ ‘What do you wanna hear?’ ‘Anything’ ‘alright’ I nodded and started singing Seize The Day to her, she was out again by the second chorus but I kept singing just in case. ‘Matt?’ I heard and I looked up to see Jimmy standing there, I motioned him over and he sat on the floor next to me ‘can I tell you something?’ he asked and I nodded as I started rubbing Abby’s back ‘um, I'm not a loud to say anything but I think you should know’ ‘ok, what is it?’ I asked and he sighed as he looked at his hands ‘Abby and Brian are in love’ he whispered and I just looked back at Abby as she slept, she looked so peaceful

‘well, I can’t say I'm surprised’ I said as I looked back at Jimmy, he nodded and waited for me to say something else ‘as long as he doesn’t hurt her, and they’re both happy then that’s all that really matters’ I said again and he nodded with a little smile ‘I'm gonna go back down, you ok here?’ ‘yeah I'm ok’ I nodded and he nodded also then stood up and left shutting the door softly behind him. I decided to get some sleep also just as Abby shifted to lay on her side so I moved down behind her and wrapped my other arm around her waist ‘good night sweetheart’ I whispered softly and she shifted a little, making me smile and I closed my eyes.
