::Abby’s POV::

I watched daddy pull away then I walked down into the basement and started to look for the suitcases, there were three big ones and a duffle bag so I just brought them all up to the living room. I made sure nothing was in them and since they smelled a little funny I sprayed them with some stuff then wiped down the inside with a wet wash cloth. After I finished that I walked up to my room and decided to bring down some laundry and do that since I didn’t have anything else to do, then I’d go through the clothes I wanted to bring on tour. We’d be leaving in a week or two I think so I gathered up some books, made sure I had my drawing things set up and ready to go then I set up everything on the corner of my dresser.

After that I went and finished laundry then ordered a pizza for me and daddy for an early dinner, he had left me one of his cards a while ago and I didn’t really use it so I decided to for once. I walked into the living room and put on a movie and waited, the doorbell rang about halfway through so I paused it and got the card out of the kitchen and went to open the door. The guy that was standing there had on all black with a red Papa John’s shirt over top, which I thought was a little odd because it wasn’t that cold yet

‘Here you go’ he said as he handed me the food, I smiled a little ‘is that what you wanted?’ he asked in a deep voice, I raised an eyebrow then lifted the lid ‘oh my god’ I whispered and dropped the box, it was full of nothing but bugs. ‘thought so’ he smirked and started towards me, I ran and screamed but he was faster and bigger and he grabbed me around the waist tightly ‘now, if I remember correctly, you put my brother in jail about 4 years ago’ he said as he pulled me into the kitchen ‘I'm sorry’ I cried and he just chuckled and started looking through draws

‘ahh no no no, that won’t get you out of this’ he said again as he pulled out a large knife and ran it down the front of my chest and to my stomach ‘now, I'm not a loud to rape you, but that doesn’t mean that I'm going to follow orders’ he said in my ear, he pushed me to the ground then started kicking me in the ribs. As he was beating me I curled into a ball and cried ‘now, time for the fun part’ he smirked and pinned my hands with one of his then tore my clothes off with the other ‘please stop, I- I'm sorry, please’ I begged and cried more but he didn’t listen, he just laughed then started raping me right there on the kitchen floor.

After he finished raping me, he picked up the knife and started cutting me all over leaving shallow but long cuts everywhere. Then he grabbed my hands with one of his, bent them back so my wrists were showing and he slashed them fast and deep. ‘there, now you can die slowly just like my brother is in jail’ he said then stood up and walked out of the house slamming the door behind him, I didn’t know what to do, I could barely move so I just laid there and tried to control my breathing as best I could.

::Syn’s POV::

I just pulled back into my driveway after about 4 hours of being at the studio with the guys and I was hungry so I wasted no time in going inside ‘ABBY!’ I yelled as I walked into the living room, the tv was on and there was a movie on pause but no Abby ‘baby?’ I called out again ‘daddy?’ I heard a soft yell from the kitchen, I walked in there and found Abby, naked on the floor and bleeding ‘baby? Oh god what happened?’ I asked quickly as I kneeled beside her and took her into my arms

‘daddy’ she whispered as she looked up at me, I nodded and tried holding back my tears ‘I'm cold’ she whispered again and I just lost it ‘no baby, stay with me please, don’t leave, I can’t do this without you’ I cried and she nodded and took a shaky breath, I pulled out my phone and called 911 ‘baby who did this?’ ‘I – I don’t know, his n – name but he – he said that he was br – brothers with the guy I put away’ she choked out, I just nodded and held her tighter.

I ran my hand over her face softly and smiled down at her ‘you're going to be ok baby girl, I swear’ I whispered and she just shook her head then licked her lips ‘I'm not going to be ok’ she whispered very softly ‘no! you’ll be fine!’ ‘daddy, please’ ‘no!’ I yelled then heard loud banging on the door ‘HURRY PLEASE!!’ I screamed and the door came open with a loud bang and there were heavy footsteps running towards me. I looked up to see paramedics as they rushed in ‘blanket!’ one yelled and the other went back outside ‘what happened?’ ‘I don’t know, I just found her like this, please help her’ I cried and he nodded then laid the blanket over her as soon as the other one came back. ‘what's her name?’ ‘Abby’

‘ok, Abby I need you to listen to me ok?’ he said and she nodded ‘How do you feel? What hurts?’ ‘everything and I'm cold’ ‘I know hun but you have to hold on’ he said and she nodded and laid her head back on my chest ‘please help her’ I whispered as I looked down at her ‘we have to put her on the stretcher now’ he said and I nodded and helped put her on there, they strapped her in and ran her to the ambulance ‘can I ride with you?’ ‘yeah, come on’ he said and I nodded and got in the back and sat on the bench and grabbed Abby’s hand tightly.

When we finally got to the hospital I wasn’t a loud to go back with her so I walked up to the desk to give her information ‘can I use your phone?’ I whispered and the lady nodded and turned it towards me, I called Zack first ‘hello?’ ‘Zacky’ I whispered as my voice cracked ‘Brian, what's wrong, what happened?’ ‘Abby’s hurt really bad, were at the hospital’ I cried more and I heard him say something to someone then I heard movement ‘what hospital, were coming’ ‘just the local one’ ‘alright, don’t go anywhere, we’ll be there soon’ he said and hung up, I did also then went and sat in the lobby and put my head in my hands.

‘Brian?’ I heard and I looked up to see the guys and their girls standing there, I know I looked like a wreck and I didn’t say anything. Val came and hugged me tight and I just cried into her chest, I felt other arms go around me which just made me cry harder ‘what happened?’ Matt asked after I calmed down a little ‘I – I don’t know, I just found her, bleeding and naked on the kitchen f – floor’ I stuttered, he nodded and placed his hand on my shoulder ‘it’ll be ok’ he whispered but I shook my head ‘she said that she was cold and that it wasn’t going to be ok’ I whispered as tears started to fall again ‘family for Abby Haner?’ I heard and I looked up to see a doctor with a not very happy look on his face ‘yes?’ I asked as we all stood up ‘you're all family?’ ‘yes god damn it’ I said a little loudly, Matt tightened his grip on my shoulder

‘is she ok?’ I whispered and he sighed ‘she lost a lot of blood, and she was raped. Right now she’s getting stiches on her wrists because those were the deepest, she’s been demanding to see her father’ he said and I nodded ‘I'm her father’ ‘ok good, she has to stay overnight so we can keep an eye on her and she has to talk to the police’ he said and I nodded then looked back at the guys, they nodded also and I looked back at doctor Ross ‘can I see her?’ ‘of course’ he nodded and lead me back to her room.

She was hooked up to some things and she looked really tired ‘Abby?’ I whispered and she looked up at me and smiled weakly, I smiled back and rushed over to her side. I looked down at her wrists and they were all taped up ‘I think maybe, I should go with you from now on’ she laughed a little, I smiled and nodded then kissed her forehead ‘they have to keep you overnight ok?’ ‘ok’ she nodded then looked back at the doctor

‘when can I leave?’ ‘we’ll see how you are tomorrow ok?’ ‘ok’ she whispered then looked back at me ‘please don’t leave me’ I whispered also, she nodded and ran her fingers over my cheek ‘I won’t’ she said and I nodded then kissed her hand ‘once you get moved up to ICU the rest of your family can come see you’ Dr. Ross said, Abby nodded and then looked back at me ‘can you go tell them I'm ok?’ ‘of course baby girl, I’ll be back’ ‘ok’ she nodded, I kissed her head then left to go tell the guys and girls that she was ok.

When I walked into the waiting room Matt was pacing and Val was trying to get him to stop and sit down ‘guys?’ I said and they all looked over at me ‘she’s ok, tired but ok. They’re going to move her into ICU so we can all go see her, she might be able to leave tomorrow but she has to talk to the police still’ I said and everyone breathed a sigh of relief ‘Mr. Haner?’ I heard and I turned to see a nurse ‘you and your family can see your daughter now’ she smiled and I nodded then followed the directions she gave us. When we got up to Abby’s door I knocked and heard a small voice tell me to come in so I poked my head in and looked to see Abby sitting up in bed a little

‘I have some people here for you’ I smiled and she nodded and I walked into the room with everyone behind me, she smiled and Matt rushed over to her and kissed her face all over making her laugh. He was like her other father which was definitely ok with me ‘I'm fine I'm fine’ she whispered and he nodded then let everyone else do the same thing to her. ‘great now I have cooties’ she giggled and everyone laughed, I sat by her bed on the chair that was there and Zack sat on the other one and held her hand. She smiled over at him and he smiled back ‘don’t ever scare the shit outta me like that again’ he said and she nodded then looked over when the door opened ‘Abby?’ Dr. Ross said and she answered a yes ‘the police are here to talk to you’ he said and she nodded.

To my surprise it was the officers from before ‘hello Abby, remember me? Officer Collins?’ ‘yes sir’ she smiled and he smiled back then walked over to the end of her bed ‘how are you feeling?’ ‘I'm ok I guess’ ‘ok, well we need to talk to you about your attack’ he said and she nodded then he looked at everyone else ‘can they stay please? Their my family’ she whispered and he sighed then nodded and pulled his notepad and pen out of his pocket ‘now, what happened?’ he asked and she took a deep breath

‘well, after my dad left I cleaned up a bit and took some stuff out of the basement like he asked then I ordered a pizza around noon, it came a half hour later and when I opened the door the pizza guy was wearing all black with a red Papa John’s shirt over top. He handed me the pizza then asked me if that’s what I ordered so I opened it and inside it was just all kinds of bugs’ she said and he nodded then looked back up at her,

‘I dropped the pizza and tried to run but he grabbed me around the waist and pulled me in the kitchen so he could get a knife. He said that I had put his brother away 4 years ago so I cried and told him I was sorry but he said that saying that wouldn’t get me out of what he was going to do’ she said again and I saw her eyes fill with tears so I gripped her hand tighter and kissed it softly

‘he got a knife out and ran it down the front of me then told me that he wasn’t supposed to rape me but that wasn’t going to stop him so he threw me to the ground and started kicking me then punching me. When he was done that he got on the floor and ripped off my clothes and raped me. When he finished he started cutting me everywhere then he grabbed my hands together and bent them back so my wrists were showing and he slashed them. He said that now I was going to die slowly just like his brother was in jail and then he left’ she whispered as her tears fell.

Officer Collins nodded and finished writing ‘do you remember what he looked like?’ ‘he was tall, maybe 6’2, short brown hair, brown eyes. Average build and weight, that’s all I remember’ she said and he nodded, again. ‘when he said that you put his brother away four years ago, I'm guessing he meant the man that killed your brother right?’ ‘yeah I guess, that’s the only person I've put away’ she nodded and he wrote something else down ‘ok, I swear to you were going to find this guy and he isn’t going to hurt you again’ he said as he looked up at her, she nodded and smiled at him ‘thank you officer Collins’ ‘just doing my job’ he smiled and she nodded then looked over at me,

‘I’ll be right back ok?’ I said and she nodded then looked over at Zack ‘officer Collins!’ I called as I ran down the hall to him, he stopped and turned to look at me ‘yes Mr. Haner?’ ‘how long do you think this will take? I mean, can you find him?’ ‘I don’t know how long it’ll take but I'm sure we’ll find him, especially if his brother thinks he’s going to get out early, which he won’t but maybe he’ll say something. If not, we’ll just do it the old fashioned way but I promise, no one is going to hurt your daughter anymore. She doesn’t deserve this’ he said and I nodded and thanked him. We shook hands and he left to go back to the station.
