Love Thy Vengeance

So it’s about 10ish pm and all the bands that Matt said were coming did and they brought their wives or girlfriends which I'm sure the Avenged girls were happy about. It was loud because of the music, talking, dancing and drinking. I had already met Papa Roach and MCR and they were the nicest people ever, I couldn’t believe it. I just got another beer and was trying to weave my way outside to smoke but I got stopped by Matt ‘Lex, this is David from Disturbed. David this is Electra our new drummer’ Matt said, I smiled and we shook hands as Matt walked away, I got a little closer to him and he bent down so I could talk to him ‘I was about to go smoke do you wanna come?’ I asked and he nodded. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him through the crowd and outside, I sat on the railing of the porch and lit my Newport

‘so are you enjoying your birthday?’ David asked and I nodded as I inhaled ‘very much so’ I smiled and he smiled back and we just started talking about random things till I finished my smoke then he said that he had to use the little boys room so I pointed it out for him and went to find someone else to talk to. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to face twins ‘happy birthday!’ they said loudly together, I giggled and hugged them ‘I'm Benji’ ‘I'm Joel’ they said holding out their hands so I put my beer down, crossed my wrists, right over left and shook their hands at the same time ‘I'm Electra but you can call me Lex’ I said and they nodded as I bent down to get my drink. ‘well, I have to go find my woman, I’ll see you guys later’ Joel said, we nodded and he went off to find Nicole, I looked at Benji and smiled

‘wanna dance?’ he asked and I raised an eyebrow at him ‘I can’t dance’ ‘oh come on, it’s your birthday, live a little’ he said and I sighed and smiled. We walked over to the living room and we started dancing to a grinding song just having a good time and talking and laughing. We had danced for about two songs I guess before we stopped and walked out of the living room, Benji snaked his arm around my waist and lead me outside so we could smoke, there wasn’t anyone out here but you could still hear the music through the walls as we both lit up and leaned against the railing ‘I like your pants’ he said and I looked down and laughed a little ‘yeah, you're the one that got me into the plaid pants thing back during the first or second album I think’

‘well, glad I could help’ he chuckled as he took another drag, I laughed and nodded then looked over to the sliding door to see Zack and Brian walking out. Zack walked over to me and kissed me hard wrapping his hand around the back of my neck, I giggled and kissed back then nipped his lower lip and pulled away. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down to me so I could whisper in his ear ‘be nice, we were just talking’ I whispered and he nodded a little then pulled back and kissed me again. ‘what’s up Benj?’ Brian asked and I just rolled my eyes ‘not much man, just workin on a new album with Joel’ he said and we all nodded ‘is it another GC one or just you and Joel?’ I asked as I stood up and leaned my back against Zack’s chest seeing as he was leaned up against the post for the railing and he wrapped his arm under my chest. ‘It’s just Joel and I’ he said and I nodded.

We all talked a bit more then decided to go inside so I could give a speech I didn’t wanna give. ‘Zackyyyyyyyyyyy’ I whined and pulled on his arm much like a child would, he laughed a little then turned to face me, he kissed me softly a few times then pulled back with a smile. I smiled back and he wrapped his arms around my waist ‘come on, it’ll be fun making a speech’ he said then gave me a little pout, I sighed and rolled my eyes and he hugged me tight with a big smile on his face. I hugged back and we walked into the living room where everyone was, Zack looked over at Matt and nodded at him to turn off the music then he hopped up on the coffee table

‘HEY!’ he yelled and everyone got quiet and looked at him ‘now that I have your attention, my beautiful girlfriend is going to make a speech’ he said and I looked at him like he was crazy, he got down then helped me up and I glared at him. ‘Well, I didn’t know I had a boyfriend till right now but ok’ I said and everyone laughed a little, I looked out into the crowd and saw everyone looking at me with curious eyes. ‘Ok well, um, thanks for coming even though you guys don’t really know me. Um….’ I stuttered and looked over at Zack for help, he just smiled and I took a deep breath then looked back at everyone.

‘Ok here’s the deal. You guys, all of you, I can’t even tell you what I'm feeling right now. I went through some pretty fucked up shit when I was younger and all you guys helped me through it. I feel like I know you even though I don’t know you, you guys really did save my life. I am so great-full to be standing here and to be able to continue making music with one of my favorite bands. One of the bands that saved my life. Now it’s no secret that, god rest his soul, Jimmy isn’t here with us anymore but that doesn’t mean that I'm replacing him. I could never ever replace a best friend and I know that’s what some people are thinking about me. When I came out here just a short time ago to let the guys listen to me I didn’t know that I was even going to be playing for Avenged so when I got there and they told me ‘oh yeah, you're gonna be playing for Avenged’ I refused at first but then I played for them and I guess they liked me.

But anyway, I walked back to them and they were trying to decide whether or not they were ready to take the step and I told them to call me whenever they were ready and I left. I didn’t know where I was going at the time because I'm from the east coast but I ended up at a cemetery. I realized that I ended up in front of Jimmy and I told him that I wasn’t trying to replace him and that I could never even dream of doing that and I asked him if he could give me any sort of sign so that I knew he was ok with me playing for his band. And I swear to you guys this huge chill went through my body and when I looked up he was standing there smiling at me, I smiled back then told him that he needed to let his friends know that it was ok to start making music again and that they could and would make the right decision without him. After he left me I got the call to come back and that’s where I've been ever since. I can’t and won’t replace Jimmy, but I will try my hardest to make sure his spirit lives on.

Isn’t that right Jimmy?’ I asked and we all got quiet, and then there was a loud crack of thunder in the sky ‘well, at least we know he’s listening and still having a blast scaring the shit out of his friends’ I said and everyone laughed ‘thank you guys so much for coming to my birthday and here’s to Jimmy!’ I said happily and held up my beer ‘TO JIMMY!’ everyone yelled and took a drink of whatever they were having. I got down and turned to see the guys looking at me with tears in their eyes so I went and hugged them, I hugged Brian last and he had like a death grip on me ‘it’ll be ok, I swear’ I whispered in his ear, he nodded and pulled back to kiss my forehead. I smiled up at him then walked over to Zack and kissed him, he kissed back and set his free hand on my waist ‘beautiful speech baby girl’ he whispered against my lips, I thanked him and we finished having fun together for the rest of the night.

I had just said goodbye to the last person leaving my party, I shut the door and walked over to Zack who was in the kitchen and I leaned against him ‘take me to bed?’ I whispered and he chuckled and picked me up in his arms and walked upstairs after I said a quick good night to the guys and girls in the living room. ‘Did you have a good night baby girl?’ ‘Yeah’ ‘tired?’ ‘Yeah’ I whispered as I looked up at him, he smiled and opened the door to his room and set me on the bed.

As I pulled off my shoes I asked Zack if he could go get me some shorts and a tank to sleep in, he nodded and walked out as I stood up and undid my pants letting them fall to my ankles, I unzipped my top and let that fall also then I unhook my bra and put everything in a corner just as Zack was walking in. He walked in with tiny little shorts and a grey tank; I shook my head at him and pulled my clothes on then kissed him. He kissed back wrapping his arms around my waist; I stood on my tippy toes and wrapped my arms around his shoulders as he kissed me deeper.

I pulled away and smiled at him, he smiled back then picked me up by my thighs and wrapped my legs around his waist and walked us over to the bed. ‘Zacky’ I giggled and he smiled down at me as he dropped me on the bed, I bounced a little and watched as he pulled his shirt over his head then undid his belt and pants letting them fall so he was just in his boxers. I looked him over as I bit my lip a little; I ran my hands over his tummy and chest slowly and stood up.

His hands went to my hips as mine went to his upper arms, I moved my mouth to his neck and started to suckle and nibble softly on him making sure to keep it up until I had a nice dark mark then I pulled away. ‘babyyyyyy’ he whined and I giggled a little and moved so my lips were over his ‘now everyone knows you're mine’ I whispered and he nodded a little then kissed me as he laid me back on the bed. I kissed back and we made out a bit then decided to go to sleep because we were too tired to do anything else.
