Welcome To The Family

**Michelle's POV**

When Matt had approached me to arrange this surprise engagement party for Val, I was shocked but honored to be asked. I guess he figured nobody would know what she would like more than someone with her identical DNA.

Everything was perfect! Now we just have to wait for the happy couple to arrive. "Oh my gosh, what if she says no!" I thought for a brief minute before convincing myself that I had obviously sipped too much champagne while waiting. Val has been head over heels in love with Matt since the day they met and I'm not ashamed to say that he is extremely attractive and if I wasn't dating his best friend and he wasn't, Lord willing, engaged to my twin sister, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to savor that dish if served up to me...I chuckle softly to myself at my ridiculous metaphors and out of this world thoughts.

"I think they are coming!" shouts Jimmy, making everyone turn towards the entrance.

"Congratulations!!!!" Everyone screams as they appear in the doorway.

I run up to Val and throw my arms around her neck. She beams and waves the huge diamond engagement ring at me. "I said yes" she squeaks.

"Ha, I kind of figured you would, or else this would be super awkward to say the least" I chuckle.

I walk over to Matt and wrap my arms around his rock hard muscular frame. He flashes me one of his breathtaking dimpled smiles. "The place looks amazing! Thank you so much Chelle" he says while hugging me tightly.

I blush and thank him. "What's wrong with me? Why am I blushing?" I think to myself. Definitely too much pre-party champagne!

-----a few hours later----

I stumble towards the bar looking for Brian, to say I have had a lot to drink at this point is an understatement. My eyes scan the crowd looking for my boyfriend but tears swell in them when I finally do. Brian has his hand on the small of a very pretty waitress's back and is nibbling on the side of her neck. He finally catches my death glare stare and quickly tries to pretend like nothing was happening. He stumbles towards me and I draw my hand back, slapping him as hard as I can across the face once he finally reaches me.

"Michelle, let me explain" he pleas.

"Get the fuck away from me now Brian before rip your dick off! I scream at him.

Everyone is is now staring at the two of us. Tears are pouring out of my eyes when I feel a strong pair of arms wrap around me from behind. I almost prepare to kick back and hit whoever dare touch me at a moment like this, before glancing over my shoulder and looking into Matt's sympathetic hazel eyes.

Val rushes over with a towel filled with ice for Brian's face. I scoffed at her and shoot her the 'how dare you comfort the asshole who just broke your sister's heart' look. I shrug out of Matt's grip and head for the door.

"Matt, she can't drive like that?!" Val shouts while pressing the ice to Brian's red cheek.

Before I even know what is happening, Matt has me pinned to the wall outside. "Chelle where do you think you're going? You can't drive like this!" He says forcefully.

"I need to get out of here, I'm sorry....I'm so happy for you guys but his actions keep proving to me that I will never get to have this." I say waving my arms towards the party inside.

Matt knows that this isn't the first time I caught Brian cheating on me, and deep down we both know it won't be the last.

He sighs, "I can't let you drive, I love you too much to do that. As for Brian, I'm really sorry...I know you deserve better."

I can't say for sure why I did what I did next but it just happened..sure I'm still mad at Brian, maybe a little mad at Val for comforting him over me, mostly I think because of the massive amount of alcohol I consumed and Matt reassuring me that he loved me...somebody loves me, when everything feels like it's falling apart.

I lean forward and smash my lips against his.. at firsthe doesn't respond so I start to pull away when suddenly his hand tangles in my hair and his tongue pushes it's way into my mouth. Holy hell, he is a great kisser! My tongue dances around with his as I tugged on his shirt, bringing our bodies even closer. His hand moves to my hips and I sigh into his kiss. I pull away slowly and see his face is flushed and eyes are dark with lust. "So, are you driving me home or what?" I say seductively. He nods his head yes and we make our way to his car.

I'm sure I will regret this in the morning but right now, I don't care....
