*~*Kamalei’s POV*~*

I laid on the bed, in the room Zacky, Jimmy, and I shared staring at the ceiling. Jimmy was in the shower and Zacky had reluctantly gone to help everyone pack up Kelly’s stuff from her house. It was just too hard for me to move around a lot without being in pain. The painkillers from the doctor helped, but really it was just going to take time and rest to feel back to normal. The guys had been here over a month and a half, saying that we couldn’t go until I was somewhat cleared from the doctor. It was mid-afternoon and we were going to California in 3 days.

This is crazy. I can’t believe Kelly and I are really picking up our whole lives and moving to California with my brother and his friends. This is all happening so fast. Is this really going to work out? Am I really going to be able to go on tour with them? This is fucking crazy.

I rolled over on the bed and picked up my bag off the floor pulling out the picture in front of Matt’s house.

This is going to be my new house. I will live here as a REAL Sanders. I won’t have to hide my name or who I am. My brother and his girlfriend will be my new roommates. His friends have become my friends, and they are some of the greatest people in the world. I can do this.

I put the picture back down into the bag. I grabbed my cell phone to look if someone had texted that they were almost done and coming back. It was strange being all alone now with all of them around almost constantly. I opened my phone and started going thru some of the pictures I had taken over the past month they had all been here. I scrolled thru so many goofy shots of the guys, mostly with them extremely drunk. Kelly and I had taken them so many places and they had a knack for getting into stuff after hours, causing havoc and probably would have gotten arrested if caught.

I laughed at a picture of Brian up on the mast of a ship when we went to the harbor. We had taken them out to eat and after they were good and drunk they wanted to go and see the boats at the pier. We didn’t expect Brian to jump on one of the boats and climb to the top of the mast attempting to do the ‘Captain Morgan’ pose.

I kept going thru them until I found the one of Zacky and I on the beach in Huntington. It really was a great picture of both of us. My eyes were a little puffy from all of the crying, but I was so happy on that beach with him.

Maybe what Kelly said was true. Maybe Zacky does like me. He sometimes says some crazy things but he does always correct himself. Maybe that’s just how he is… he is a rockstar and I’m his friend’s little sister. I’m nothing he doesn’t see all the time, I’m sure.

“You alright Lei-Lei?” Jimmy asked from the bathroom doorway.

“Yeah Jimmy. I was just thinking…” I trailed off as I sat up on the bed.

“What you thinking about little one?” he said as he sat next to me wrapped in his towel.

“I don’t know. I guess everything.” I replied vaguely.

“Everything like what Lei-Lei? You know you can always talk to me right?” he added.

“Yeah I know Jim. It’s just… I can’t believe we are coming home with you guys.” I lied.

I didn’t want to ask him about Zacky. I know I liked him, but I didn’t want to hear that he didn’t feel the same back. I was too scared of the answer.

“I know isn’t it great! I’m excited for you and Kelly Beans to come live with us. Oh just wait until we tour in two weeks! It’s going to be even better! The other bands we hang out with are always fun too!” he exclaimed excitedly.

“In two weeks? Tour is in two weeks?” I asked surprised.

“Yeah Lei-Lei. We extended our vacation here remember? That means when we get home it’s two weeks then back on the bus! Don’t worry though, this tour we get to stay in more hotels than the bus.” He said reassuringly.

“Wow. This is all just happening so fast.” I said in a stupor.

“It’s okay though. You have all of us.” Jimmy said looking into my eyes.

“I know. Thank you Jimmy.” I leaned over hugging him.

“Don’t worry Lei-Lei. It’s going to be so much fun! You’ll forget about all the junk from the past.” He said wrapping his long arms around me.

I smiled at him. He sure does know how to cheer a person up. He got up and went to his bag finding some clothes before heading back into the bathroom. I lay back on the bed, this time looking at my phone screen with the picture looking back at me.

It’s a nice dream. A nice thought. It will never happen though. My brother has enough of a problem with Zacky and my relationship as best friends. He would lose his mind if we ever became anything more. Not that it would happen. Zacky is so sweet and so handsome. Look at those beautiful green eyes he has. Girls probably fall all over him on tour. I guess in two weeks I will get to see it firsthand…

My thoughts were interrupted by the man I was dreaming of as he burst into the room slamming the door behind him.

“Oh my God save me…” he said as he jumped over to the other side of the bed and onto the floor trying to get under the bed.

“What’s going on?” I asked him.

“Shhh. Brian is trying to get me back for stealing his phone.” He said quietly from under the bed.

“For a phone? Really?”

“He has a sextape with Kelly on it.” He whispered.

“Oh. Gross.” I said as Brian came bursting thru the door.

“WHERE’S ZACKY?” he yelled out of breath.

I pointed to the bathroom where I knew Jimmy was changing clothes. Brian charged thru the door finding a very naked Jimmy.

“Excuse me sir. I don’t need your help.” Jimmy said calmly to Brian.

“Where is he? Is he in the bathtub?” Brian said as he frantically pulled the curtain back.

Zacky jumped out from under the bed and took off down the hotel hallway. I couldn’t help but laugh, causing my ribs to hurt, but it was just too funny to watch. I got off the bed and walked out to the hallway watching Zacky scramble to find a room he could get into. He ran back towards our room, picking me up as he ran.

“AHHHH! Zacky! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” I yelled as he ran us down the hall to the stairwell.

“Shhh…. I can hear him coming.” He whispered putting his fingers to my lips as he set me down.

We watched Brian run out into the hall and make his way to Johnny’s room. When the door closed, Zacky scooped me up in his arms again and ran to Matt’s room.

“What and the fuck are you doing?!” Matt exclaimed.

“Shhh. We’re hiding from Brian.” I told him between giggles.

Zacky put me down and we ran into the closet shutting the doors. I couldn’t help but giggle at how fun the whole thing was. Zacky started to quietly laugh too as we stood in the dark closet.

“So did you watch it?” I quietly asked him.

“No. Why? Do you wanna?” he said pulling out the phone from his pocket.

“Ew. No. That’s my best friend.” I told him.

“I thought I was your best friend.” He pouted.

“You are. So is Kelly. Don’t pout.” I said as we heard Brian barrel thru the door.

“Where is Baker?!” Brian yelled.

“How the fuck would I know? Go look in his room.” Matt told him.

“Fuck. I swear I’m gonna fucking punch his lights out for this shit.” Brian said as he opened the door to the room again.

I couldn’t hold it and started to giggle from our hiding spot. I saw Brian turn and look questionably at the closet doors. Zacky clamped a hand over my mouth to keep me from bursting out in laughter. Brian started walking slowly towards the closet. Zacky crouched down, signaling me to get on his back before standing up both of us ready to run. Brian’s hand was just on the closet door when Zacky shoved the door open and made a run for it.

We laughed so hard as we ran down the hall and into Brian and Kelly’s room, Brian following close behind.

“I’ll fucking get you Baker!” Brian yelled down the hall.

Kelly was in the shower and Zacky turned and dropped me down onto the bed. Brian ran in soon after, eyes wild, looking at the both of us for his phone.

“What’s wrong Haner? Can’t find your phone?” I teased him.

“Fuck. Where is it Lei?” He said out of breath.

“I don’t know. Why Brian? Sextape much?” I pushed.

“Son of a bitch. Where the fuck is my phone you guys?” he said angrily.

Zacky moved around the bed, dangling the phone from the opposite side of the bed. Brian lunged at him for it, as Zacky tossed it to me. Brian started to make like a predator circling his prey, his dark eyes making him seem more brooding.

“No. No. No. Brian. I’m injured remember. You can’t tackle me.” I said waving a finger at him.
“I wasn’t planning on it little antelope. You’re injured so you can’t run. What are you going to do?” he said teasing me this time.

“I’m going to share your tape. To everyone in your contact list…” I said opening the phone and starting to get it ready to push send.

“You wouldn’t dare. That’s your best friend on there Lei…” He said darkly.

“Oh, don’t think I won’t Brian. I’m one wicked wahine (Wa-Hee-Nay) when I want to be…” I said.

“What?” he stopped confused.

“Wahine. Woman. It means woman. Geez…” I rolled my eyes.

“Whatever. Now hand it over Lei.” Brian said.

“Or what?” I said holding my finger just above the send button.

He grabbed Zacky by the collar of his shirt and yanked him in front of him, “Or I’ll punch Zack in the face.”

“What?! What kind of sense does that make?” Zacky said surprised at Brian’s threat.

“Give me the phone Lei or I’ll sock him right in the face.” Brian repeated.

I looked at Zacky and the phone in my hands. I didn’t want him to hurt Zacky. Even if he didn’t do it hard I didn’t want him to hurt him even a little.

“Don’t do it Lei. Push send. I’ll be fine. Brian has punched me before. With a guitar but I can take it. SEND IT!” Zacky said trying to squirm out of Brian’s grasp on his shirt.

“I can’t. I can’t let him punch you in the face.” I said as I held the phone up as Brian let go of his shirt, walking towards me.

I handed the phone over to him and quickly walked out of the room heading back to my room.

“Hey Lei! Wait! Are you ok?” Zacky called running up to me in the hall.

I turned and looked at him, tears threatening to fall from my eyes. He grabbed my shoulders, holding me at arms’ length.

“Lei, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” he asked me.

“I couldn’t let him hit you. I couldn’t let him hurt you.” I said as I let the tears fall.

“Lei, it’s alright. He was playing around. Even if he did hit me it probably wouldn’t be hard anyway.” He told me as he pulled me into a hug.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Brian said coming out into the hall after hearing the commotion.

“She’s upset because she thought you were really gonna hit me.” Zacky said to him.

Brian leaned down looking at me with a smile, “Lei, I wasn’t going to really hit him. If I did it wasn’t going to be a full force hit. He’s my brother, I wouldn’t try to hurt him. Please don’t cry. I’m sorry.”

I nodded my head and buried my head in Zacky’s shirt, “I want to go to the room.”

Zacky and I walked back to the room and I made my way straight to the bed, passing a very surprised looking Jimmy.

“What’s going on? Why is she crying Zack?!” Jimmy said getting angry.

“Brian made her cry. We were playing and he didn’t mean it. It just made her upset.” Zacky told him.

“My little Lei-Lei… my sweet little Lei-Lei baby… don’t cry.” Jimmy cooed as he sat on the bed and rubbed circles on my back.

“That’s why I don’t want any of you going to look for Micah. I don’t want anyone to get hurt.” I said.

The thought had bothered me since Zacky had mentioned it in the hospital. I didn’t want them to find him. I was scared one of them would get hurt. I knew Micah. He was a skilled hunter. My brother and the guys were from the city.

Zacky crawled in the bed next to me and wrapped his arms around me, “Don’t worry about it my little Lei girl. We’ll be fine. He’s the one who should worry.”

“No. You just don’t get it do you? Micah is dangerous. He has guns. Lots of them. Especially if he is where I think he is.” I pleaded.

“And where is that?” Matt said scaring us.

Zacky released his hold on me, making me suddenly feel at a loss, as he sat up. Matt stood in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest waiting for my answer.

“Hana.” I replied. (not hannah, it's ha-nah)

Ok gang! Sorry for such a late update. I have been trying to fix my files that the story is written on so I can work on it from home easier. I'm hoping to post up a chapter of my new story by the end of this week. I do hope you guys are excited for Hana though! Lots of stuff happens in Hana.
