Chapter Fourteen
Dean’s P.O.V
Erin’s lips were on mine for only a second before she pulled back and walked to her room, she didn’t even take a second look back and I was just shocked…
“If it matters Winchester… I like the idea of you sticking around” She said before disappearing into her room and I rubbed my hands down my face… this girl was going to be the death of me… I went back to my room and went through some more information and read up on witches before Cas finally walked inside.
“Eventful night… Erin said that you wanted to speak with me” Cas stated.
“Well we have witches on our tail now as if Crowley throwing Jimmy and Izzy in the pit wasn’t enough” I said and Cas sighed and sat down.
“Hannah was hexed last night as well.. do you think we should still follow that band or do you think we should head somewhere safe” Cas asked and I just sighed… I couldn’t drop this now there was so much to be done and so little time.
“You know we don’t have time to rest… and besides I know you want to go to the bunker but… I haven’t been there since Sam got thrown in the pit… Can we just head down to KC and make sure we find out what the heck we are dealing with!” I said starting to raise my voice, at first Cas was fine but now he was tense and getting upset.
“Yes but we have two girls who aren’t gonna drop this subject and they are in danger… think about what can happen them being out in the open and subject to other witches, and keep them away from the temptation of going after Crowley themselves…” Cas mentioned and while he was right I had the solution.
“We will just get them inked up, both of them will get the anti-possession tattoos” I said and he rolled his eyes… wow I was really getting to him right now.
“You realize those don’t protect them from everything, I mean the bunker would be the best and then you and I can meet up with the band and they will be safe and sound so we don’t have to worry about them” Cas stated and he was being really quiet about this… We both knew that Erin and Hannah were listening in on this or at least trying to…
“Dammit Cas honestly… ugh whatever fine… but those girls are still getting those tattoos, they can handle the pain… I know you’ve seen Hannah’s but Erin’s got a few as well, on her side, her ankle and her back...” I said trailing off and I looked up and Cas was amused by this.
“What?” I asked and he just laughed which was interesting, hadn’t seen Cas laugh like that in a long time.
“Shall I go tell Hannah and Erin that we are going to go soon?” He asked and I waved him to go and tell them while I started cleaning my gun and stuff before shoving it into the duffle bags, I put my clothes and stuff in there and when I walked out to give the key back to the motel owner I saw Erin sitting in her car and she was rocking out to her music. I stood there just stopped in my tracks…
“Nice view huh?” Hannah asked and I jumped a little cause she was just all of the sudden there… watching Erin with me… she was just as sneaky as Cas damn. She looked up at me and smiled at me.
“Ya know it’s not wrong to feel what you’re feeling Dean… I mean if you want her... then you want her” Hannah said and she grabbed my key while she walked over to Cas and took them back. I set the bags in the popped trunk and looked over again… just go talk to her… so I went over there putting my hands on the door where the window was rolled down.
“So you’re just gonna follow me right?” I asked her and she turned down the music and looked over at me.
“That’s the plan” She said and I moved to resting my elbows there and I smiled at her and licked my bottom lip and she giggled lightly looking away for a moment. I leaned in and reached forward turning her gaze back to mine and pressed my lips against hers and then pulled away a little.
“Playing dirty right back… I like it” She said, her breath on my lips before she pushed me away and off her car as Hannah walked over and she revved her engine.
“Let’s go guys” Hannah said and I pulled away and sat with Cas who was giving me the same look that Hannah was giving Erin. About an hour later of driving we pulled up to a tattoo place and the girls… actually seemed pretty excited, I don’t think I had imagined this kind of reaction.
“So where you two gonna get these?” I asked the girls and Hannah pointed at her right inner
forearm and I thought about it for a minute before Erin smiled and she started talking to the tattoo artist. I followed her to the chair and both Cas and I sat there when we realized that Erin was pulling up the inner part of her shorts.
“Stop staring you two she has been set on her inner upper thigh for a while” Hannah said and Cas sat by her and Erin put her hands behind her head as the guy put the outline on and started.
“Why there?” I asked her and she laughed.
“Like Hannah said, I have always wanted one there and two because nobody is gonna see it here unless I choose to show it off” She said laughing and she just took the pain, she didn’t whine once it was like there wasn’t a needle at all. Hannah was just about the same there was just nothing. This last for about an hour and a half and then we drove a good portion of the day into the night and finally reached the bunker in Lebanon, Kansas…
Third Person
Castiel took the girls inside while Dean walked around making sure that they weren’t followed. When he came back in the girls were drinking and Dean watched Erin just as Cas was watching Hannah, it was crazy to them just how important they had become in such a short period of time.
“Dean do you have a moment?” Castiel whispered to Dean and he nodded and grabbed a drink before following Cas into the library.
“What’s going on?” He asked.
“About half way here… some chatter started a state over” Castiel said not getting into detail and Dean just sighed.
“Cas there is always chatter” Dean said in his usual sarcastic tone.
“Well it was about witches, my guess is that they are searching for the girls” Cas said and Dean took in a deep breath.
“Well what exactly do you want to do about this Cas?” Dean inquired.
“We should check it out for the girls safety” He stated back and Dean sat on the desk behind
him and rolled his eyes.
“I don’t think that they should be alone to be honest Cas, you really think that they would take
that well yet again” Dean asked and while Cas knew that Dean was right he cared immensely about Hannah and he had a gut feeling on the girls he had to get off his chest.
“They are safer here than when they were when you left them at the motel alone.. you really still seem to think that these girls are nothing, that once they get Izzy back they are just gonna drop out of our lives” Cas said and Dean just sat there not knowing what to say.
“Dean this is happening, either way somehow, at some point of time they were going to come into our lives, I can feel it… They are important and I think you need to take a step back and get over the fact that you lost Sam and maybe realize that Erin is good for you” Cas said… Dean just wasn’t having this conversation he was always iffy on the women subject.
Dean’s P.O.V
“She may be good for me… but I’m no good” I stated and Cas just stood there quietly, I didn’t need to drag Erin down with me… hell I did that enough to Sam… to Lisa… it never works out.
“You are truly better than you think Dean and Erin knows that” He said and hell who knows maybe he was right… Erin was incredible, I couldn’t deny what I felt for her.
“Yeah well the fun part is telling them that we are leaving without them Cas… like I said they won’t be happy with us” I said and he nodded and just turned away as I evaded the subject again… but doesn’t mean I didn’t realize he was right.
“Just do what you have to do” Cas said in an icy tone and walked out and down the hall realizing Erin and Hannah had moved to find their rooms, I walked down the hall peeking in doors to see where they were when I passed Hannah’s where Cas was sitting Hannah down on the bed. I was watching before I heard some humming and I moved a couple doors down to see Erin setting some stuff in drawers, I knocked and she took her earbud out and smiled.
“You settling in okay?” I asked and she nodded and motioned for me to come in, I sat on her bed and she put her phone and stuff on the nightstand.
“So uh, this who-“ I said but she cut me off and sat on my lap and put her hand on the back of my neck.
“What?” She asked and she was playful and lightly bit at my jawline and trailed her lips down my neck and I squeezed her hips before I realized I couldn’t right now… business Dean… business.
“Cas and I we… god you are distracting me” I said and she giggled and her lips came back up to my ear and to my lips and they touched mine a little… and it just came out.
“Cas and I have to go” I said and she sat there… eyes closed and she pulled back and opened them and gazed at me for a moment…
“Right… you gotta go…” She said and hopped off. I stood up and put my hands in my pockets.. well I had to do what I had to do…
“We won’t be long, just following up on chatter and making sure that we weren’t followed, it’s only thirty minutes to the next city… call me, if you need anything and I mean anything” I said and walked towards her and she wanted to step back but I grabbed her back and pulled her into me and placed my lips on hers for a moment before walking out..
Erin’s P.O.V
I was drinking away just how mad I was that Dean left with Cas, I heard Hannah cussing under her breath as she came into my area, she growled a little which of course happened very VERY seldom but when she was really pissed she would do it…
“Yeah that’s about how I feel at the moment” I said taking another shot and eating the ice cream from the freezer, there was a huge kitchen type room that was pretty stocked up and it was pretty cool… Hannah came over grabbing another spoon and taking a huge scoop from the tub and eating it… yeah I knew she wanted it.
“Ya know what” I said and Hannah finished her spoonful and looked at me.
“What?” She asked raising an eyebrow.
“I wanna go explore, I just want to get the hell out of here and not be confined to solitary confinement” I said and Hannah seemed a little hesitant.
“Remember what happened when we showed up the last time?” She asked and I waved it off.
“You can’t tell me that you just want to say fuck off right now… they ditched us… AGAIN!” I said loudly and she thought quietly for a minute before she smiled widely.
“Let’s go and explore, you’re right! Screw them right now for ditching us!” She said and I grabbed my keys and such and we sped off and away just roaming around for a while till we stopped at some diner at the edge of town.
“Two coffees” I said and the girl smiled and poured our cups.
“Well this town is small and not very interesting” I stated and she nodded while taking a drink.
“Although the quiet is kind of nice after everything” Hannah said and she was absolutely right.
“Izzy would be telling us to go out and find the craziest places… sometimes I wonder where we would be with her if we didn’t fall into this” She followed and I kinda just evaded it.
“So you’re into Cas right?” I asked and she just laughed.
“Wow nice avoidance you’ve got going there” She said taking another sip and I just shrugged.
“Of course the lass is into him” We heard a familiar voice say…. Oh god… Crowley.
“And what might you want?” She asked and I just tried to keep my cool.
“Well that’s not a very nice way of welcoming me into your life” Crowley said and I just scoffed waving for more coffee.
“Just pipe down or go the hell away Crowley” I said and he grabbed a chair turning the back of it to us and straddling it.
“Ah well I was here to talk about your ‘bestie’ but I guess you’d rather just pick a fight” Crowley said and we both turned our seats and honestly we were both still livid…
“You have our attention” I stated and he just smirked.
“Well she has a mouth on her… I’ve contemplated muzzling it” He said glaring at us, his smile fading.
“Why don’t we just muzzle you” I said and Hannah turned to me and then back towards Crowley and I turned to the counter because I knew that she was about to raise some hell with him… I would be very afraid of her..
