Brother and Sister.

We sat down on the couches and talked for 3 hours, drinking beers. The only one that was very sober was Val cause she had to drive us back, I wasn't that drunk either but had already 3 beers inside of me so... Brian and Matt were very drunk. I was sitting on the same couch as Brian. Val and Matt were just in front of us. No one was talking, we could only hear the background until Brian came closer to me and said.

“I'm so sooorry I called you just my sister in front of that girl!”


“It's all fine! I told you already!” I laughed at Brian's attitude. He was so close to me, his eyes were heavy. He was wearing his cap and his long hair were stick onto his cheeks.

“What happened?” Val asked. Brian turned himself to her and said.

“There was a girl.. Anna, I think.. She asked me if she was my chick, I said nooo, she only my sister! Which is fucking not true!” He put his arms around me, almost leaving himself fall onto me, he was heavy. He looked straight into my eyes and continued “You know! I could fuck you right now and it won't even matter! We aren't blood relative!”

Wow.. Really? I couldn't believe it. I instantly felt weird into my stomach. Why? I didn't know. I felt my cheek getting hot. I looked over at Val, her mouth was slightly open and Matt was laughing.


“Would you?!” Matt said between two laughter.

Instantly Val hit Matt's arm and said “MATT?! COME ON!” Matt turned himself to her and shrugged his shoulders saying “What?!”

“Why wouldn't I?!” Brian answered.

I couldn't look at him anymore, I was feeling too sick, blushing, it was really the first time I heard Brian talking about me like that.. Or just about every women!

“Ok... I think it's time to go!” Val said as she took Matt by the arm.

“But babe.. It's only..” Matt said as he stood up “Enough!” She said holding him roughly. She was walking further in front of me, leaving Brian and I behind. Brian put his arm around my shoulders, again like on the couch. He looked at me with his heavy eyes and said.

“You know! I love you.” He kissed my cheek.

I didn't say anything else and just continued walking with him. We reached Val's car, Matt was already sitting on the passenger side. I opened the back door for Brian.

“Thanks girl.” He winked at me and tried to sit. But obviously he was too drunk to do it himself. I helped him putting his seat belt on. Matt was laughing in the front.

“Looks like she's sucking you dude!”

REALLY?! Brian just burst out in laughter and Val just punched again Matt.

“You are so stupid when you are drunk!” She was very mad at him. She turned herself to me. I was putting my seat belt on when she said.

“I'm so sorry Hayley! He doesn't know how to control himself when he's drunk...”

“Well that's okay... Mine doesn't know either.” I said talking about Brian who was almost gone.

He put his head onto the window. Closing his eyes. Val started the car not long later. We could only hear Brian's head knocking onto the window. He tried to put his hand that it wouldn't knock anymore, but obviously didn't work. He just decided to lay his head on my shoulder, almost drooling on it. It was about the first time I saw him that drunk and saying such stupid things. I knew he wouldn't do it with me.. He was just too drunk to think..

After we were done getting the guys out of the car and helping them going to bed. Val and I went back into our room. As soon as she shut the door, she looked at me. Sorry look on and said.

“I just can't believe what just happened. I'm still so sorry about that..”

“Stop saying that! I told you already, that's all fine. Brian wasn't better either!” I said sitting on my bed, removing my shoes.

“The worst is that it's so obvious! How couldn't he see?!” She said sitting down on her bed.

“Wait.. What's so obvious and who didn't see it?” I looked at her waiting for an answer.

“That you love him and he doesn't know it!” She said.

What? Wait. Could it be? I thought on the moment.

“Really?! Me? Loving Brian, it can't be! We were raised as brother and sister.” I stopped myself to think, how could I know if I was in love? I never had a boyfriend before... “But wait.. What did you see that was supposed to be so so obvious?”

“I mean, you blushing at every little compliment he says to you, just the way you look at him! I can't be wrong!” She said standing up to go I the bathroom, I followed her. I leaned on the door. She was putting her contact lenses out.

“Do you think so?” I asked crossing my arms onto my chest, looking away.

“Yeah! Don't you remember your first love?!” She said turning herself to face me.

“Actually... If you are right then he would be my first one..” I said looking down on the floor, ashamed.

“Oh Hayley! Don't feel bad for that. Matt and I are together for two years now, but he's really my first love!” She said touching my arm to make me feel less uncomfortable. We went back into our room.

“Yeah but.. You know you're maybe not even right... Anyway sleep tight.” I said crawling under my blanket.

“We'll see! Sleep tight!” She said shutting the light.


The only thing I could remember about that evening was that I was staring at my ceiling, thinking about Brian. I knew she was right. I didn't want to... It just couldn't be. I was his sister.

Like promised on wednesday! I won't have much time to post the other one saturday, I'll try to do my best but I can't promised! I'm really full of homework and exam at school. BTW I hope you still love it! :)
