Brother and Sister.

“HAYLEY!” I heard Brian yelling into my ear. I stepped.


I instantly grabbed my blanket up onto my chest, I was naked under and I didn't want Brian to see something.. I looked at him, catching my breath back, that silly goof had a big smile on his face. I laid on my belly, still holding my blanket pretty tight

“Get the fuck out, Brian.” I groaned


I hated when someone woke me up rudely.

“I won't go out until you come out of your bed!” Brian said, crossing his arms on his chest, I could see him in the mirror on my wall.

“I'm naked, Brian!” I murmured into my pillow.

I stretched myself and went out of bed. I put quickly my clean clothes cause I knew that Brian would make a scene if I took my time. As soon as I opened the door, I saw him in front of the door, looking down on his watch, He put his head back up and looked at me, he was about to say something but I cut him before.

“Relax, I took not even a minute!” I sighed and said as I passed in front of him.

He followed me as I went down the stairs. I heard him saying behind me.

“1 minute 34 seconds, exactly!”

I knew he was only kidding but I wasn't really in that mood.

“Yeah, yeah...”

Soon as we were downstairs, he passed in front of me and took me by the arm, making me stop walking.

“You ok?”

“I'm totally fine!” I said not looking at him and going away from him.

I didn't know what was wrong with me, I guess I was just nervous for college. I sat at the table next to Suzy, breakfast was already on the table. I took my plat and started eating without appetite. I felt the tension that was in the air, Brian sat down next to me and sighed. Like always, he just wanted to be nice to me but I was fucked up.

We finished eating and said our goodbye, Suzy was crying, making it harder for us

“We won't be far you know..” Brian said, hugging her. “We'll be back for the holidays!” He said, smiling.

Brian had this awesome ability to cheer people up.. He would always find a way to make me laugh when something was going wrong. Suzy left Brian's arms and came to give me a kiss on the cheek. She always took me for her daughter and I always took her for my mom.

“You know, you can ALWAYS call me! Whenever you want a girl talk, I'm here. I know that Brian's there but you know like me that he isn't always easy.” She laughed, I couldn't help but laugh too.

“Suz!” We heard Brian saying next to us.

“She's still right!” I said turning myself to face Brian. He just gave me a smile and said.

“You still love me hein?!”

“Of course, silly!” I said hugging him.

I instantly felt better than this morning, I felt good with my family..

We hurried up jumping into Brian's car. He started driving, as he would go, I would feel homesick. He obviously noticed it, he knew me so well, he put a hand onto my lap, that I look at him, he gave me his goofiest smile, to tell me it was going to be okay. I smiled and looked out of my window. Not long later, I fell asleep.

“Hayley..” Brian said as he woke me up softly.

I opened my eyes and looked in front of me, we were already there, 4 hours away from home. I stretched and looked at Brian.

“You drove all this without stopping?”


“No, I stopped at a gas station to piss but you were so cute sleeping, I really couldn't wake you up.

I blushed and unbuckled my seat belt. I opened my door and stepped outside. Instantly, I felt the cold breeze on my bare shoulders. Before I could even noticed, Brian had put my coat onto my shoulders. He would always be so protective.

“Let's go?” Brian said holding our bags into his arms. I was going to take my bag that he said.

“No, I'll carry it.” He smiled.

“What would I do without you?!” I said laughing.

He shrugged his shoulders and let out a laugh too, we both started walking to reach that big ass school in front of us, we entered at the door and someone welcomed us.

“Hi! My name is Anna! I'll be you host for the day.” She said with a big fake smile on his face.

She was kinda tall, brunette, long hair, probably extensions. Boobs as big as mine, let's say medium size, the only difference was that she wanted to show them much more than I wanted. “Wow, I'm probably really the best for analyzing people” I thought on that moment.

Brian already put our bags on the floor and shook her hand, she lingered it. It was just obvious, she was hitting on him. Oh well, College life was just starting... She didn't even shook my hand, she just looked at me from head to toe and then went back to Brian.

“Is she the girlfriend?” She said, looking at him.

“Oh no, she's actually just my sister.” He said.

This was the most hurting thing I heard in my whole life. I swear. I was only his sister into his eyes... I looked down at the floor, I knew exactly what she was doing.

“Actually, I was adopted by his parents.” I whispered, I couldn't help it, it just came out.

An awkward silence stood in the place, the only sounds we could hear was the other students talking. I just wanted to get away as soon as I could from that girl.

“Can we just go?!” I said looking directly at her.

“Ok...” She said still with her fake smile on, I knew she didn't like me. She just wanted Brian. “I just need to know in which department you are.” She said, again staring at him.

Brian opened his backpack and gave her our schedules.

“Brian.... What a beautiful name!”

“Well, Thanks” He said.

“Studying music! That's great! We'll get along well together!” She said, winking. She turned herself to me.

“And you.. Hayley, Basic classes.”

Yeah indeed basic classes, I didn't know what to do ye with my life so I was just going to finish my normal classes, like Math, History, English and all the shit that's coming after, I was hopefully with Brian in Math and History.

“Ok, follow me.” She said as she turned herself.

I looked at Brian, I sighed cause I was annoyed, he just shrugged his shoulders. She started by showing me where I would have my classes. She hurried to get fast to Brian's department. I stopped Brian and said.

“I think I'll go to my dorm.”

He looked at me, without really understanding.

“Didn't you wanted to see my department?”


“No need too. I'm just your sister.”
