Brother and Sister.

The two weeks were never ending in my eyes. I didn't stop counting the days down. I just couldn't wait to be home, in my stuff. I never felt so happy since we were in college until that day. The last Friday of school until the vacation.


“We are finally going home!” I screamed as I jumped up the gates from the beach.

Brian was waiting for me, smoking a cigarette. As soon as he heard me, he threw it on the ground and opened his arms for me. I hugged him as tight as I could. He kissed my cheek and smiled.

“You're right baby, I just have to pack some of my stuff and we are going!” He laughed to my excitement.

I removed myself from his embrace and said.

“Really?! How could you not pack your things before?!”

Brian laughed.

“Relax! I did but I just have some stuff to check.” He took me again in his chest.

“You better not take to long! It's been already a week my stuff is all ready!”

Brian laughed again and kissed the top of my head.

“Let's go before you get annoyed by me.” He said taking my hand and we walked further to the gates.

“ME? Annoyed of you?!” I stopped myself pointing my chest and putting my other hand onto my hip, waiting for him to look at me. He grinned as he saw me standing there. “Pfff, Never!” I answered. Totally not convinced. He knew how much we sometimes were so annoying to each others. Well it's he awesome part of being best friend before a couple! There are some things that you can never escape..

We continued walking in silence. Not an awkward one, a perfect one in my eyes. I felt just so good. I let Brian pack all of his stuff and at the same time, I went to say my goodbyes to Val, Matt, Zacky and Jimmy. We had been really closer since these two weeks after what happened at the party. About Dameon, I didn't see him anymore, Anna neither. I just wished it was going to stay the same. I kissed and hugged everyone and went back to Brian's room. He was done so we hurried going to my room and pick up my bag. People kept on looking at us weirdly sometimes. When we were acting like a couple exactly. Well I didn't care anymore. I was going home! That was the most important for me.

We both put or bag in the back of Brian's car and were ready to go!

I put my Metallica CD into Brian's radio. He looked at me smiling and shaking his head. I knew why. Because I was reading his mind. I laughed, without talking, we were able to be connected to each others. I looked outside and then went back to Brian who was doing lipsync on Fade to Black.

“Do they know about us.” I asked to him. He knew I was talking about his parents. He put down the volume a little bit then answered.

“Of course, they probably always knew it was going to end like that..” He was still looking at the road but I could see his smile growing.

“Why do you say that?” I asked, still lookin at him.

“Well, don't you remember how close we always have been?” I nodded. “Well, we were just too young to know about it. Now that we are all grown up and we know what all is about then it's just normal that we end up together.”

He was so right. I always loved Brian so much. It was just different.

“But you still had few girlfriends.”

“Yeah but do you remember how long it did last? Not long, this was all fucking bullshit. Now I have you and it's different.” He put his hand onto my lap. He chuckled and continued. “Well sometimes you can act like shit too...”

I looked at him, offended. Just for kidding obviously. He laughed louder. I slapped the back of his head and started laughing too.

I sighed and turned my head to the window. It was such a relieved to be there with Brian. I couldn't wait to come home.
