Brother and Sister.

Brian took me at the same beach where we went for our first date, the water was almost frozen. I shivered as the cold wind touched my skin. I looked at Brian and smiled. I felt good when I was here alone with him. He smiled back and put his arm around my shoulder. My concerned about everything was all back far far away in my head. We sat under the same tree we sat before. I looked at the sea further and sighed. It was calm and silent, no waves crashing onto the rocks anymore. I felt so good there instead of in college..


“I don't feel like this is my thing anymore..” I said quietly, still looking at the horizon.

“What do you mean about that?” He asked, I looked at him.

“College, it has never been my thing.”

Brian looked at me concerned, I knew he liked his classes and that he was feeling good about being in college.

“You want to quit studying?”

I crossed my arms onto my chest and shivered again

“I don't know..” I sighed “I just.. Don't feel good over there.”

Brian sat closer to me and started playing with the frozen grass under us.

“Where do you feel good then?” He asked, looking back at me.

“Here, with you.” I smiled to him. He smiled softly

“If you don't stay to college, we won't be together anymore..” He said taking me in arms, I laid my head onto his shoulder.

“I know..” I sighed, looking at the sea. I placed myself between his legs and laid my back to his chest. He started running a hand into my hair.

“Let's make a deal.” He said quickly.

“What?”

“You stay in college but we'll have to come everyday here, at the beach, even if it's snowing or even raining!” I laughed and looked back at him. He looked so excited about this and he knew how much I hated rain! He laughed too, rolled his eyes up in the air and continued. “Ok, maybe not when it's raining.”

“Much better!” I laughed again.

“But still! Almost everyday we meet eachother here after school. Like that if you didn't have a good day, then you can still have a good time with me..”

I thought about it for a second, I didn't know how long I could keep on like this but I kinda like his idea really much.

“So.. Is that a good deal?” He asked still playing into my hair, brushing his fingers to my forehead. I sighed and answered him.

“Yeah. Deal.”

“Yeah!” Brian said all excited like a child. I laughed to the moment. I turned my head and kissed him, I lingered our soft kiss until something came up in my head. I kept my head close to his.

“I can't wait to be back home..” I said looking at his mouth. He smiled.

“Hold on baby. We'll be there in 2 weeks.” He said soflty.

He was right. It was almost the holiday's vacation. I really couldn't wait for it anymore.

“I just hope I won't be too sad leaving home again after New year's eve..” I sighed again. I knew so well this was going to happen.

“Just think about that you'll come back not alone, I'll be there.” Brian said wrapping his arms around me. A silent installed itself in the place. I stared at the sea again.

He was right about that too, but I just couldn't handle all those people. Like when I was young..
