Brother and Sister.

I sat down next to Val, who was sitting at a table at the cafeteria. It was monday morning, which meant 2 days after Brian and I had our argument.. I was kinda surprised to see Val not in class, she usually always had a class in monday morning.

“What are you doing?” I asked her.


“My class was canceled and on the moment I'm waiting Matt, and you?” She asked taking a sip of her coffee.

“Well.. I would usually hang out with Brian before going in maths..” I said looking down at my hands, Val knew everything, I told her that same evening.

The cafeteria was quiet, not much people were there, probably all sleeping or all in class. Not long later, I put my head up, from hearing voices from further, espacially, Matt's voice. I look in his direction, he was with Dameon aaand.. Brian. As soon as Brian saw me, he gave a tap on Matt's shoulder and stopped walking, Matt looked in his direction, Brian said something and went in an other direction. Matt seemed confused but still came at our table. He sat next to his girlfriend and Dameon sat down next to me.

“Could someone tell me what's wrong with Brian?” Matt asked to no one in particularly. Val just shrugged her shoulders, looking at me. Matt's stare went on me. I did like Val, I just shrugged my shoulders too.

“He's fucking acting weird these days..” He sighed. “Anyway, Hayley, are you coming to our repetition in the afternoon?” He asked me.

“Oh. I don't think so...” I answered, I didn't think that it would have been such a good idea to be there with Brian in the same room, since he's always trying to escape me.

“Why not?” Dameon asked next to me. I really didn't think about a good excuse, I really didn't know what to say. “Please, come, it'll be much more fun with you around!”

I looked around me, Val and Matt were both looking at me, waiting for an answer, I couldn't say no..

“Okay..” I answered soflty.

“Nice!” Dameon said as he smiled to me, excited.

I looked at my phone, I had to go in class. I said my goodbyes and went in my class. The only place that was available was.. of course, next to Brian. I sat down next to him. He looked fast in my direction than looked down on his book full of random doodles. The class started and we just did our individual work. I felt sometimes Brian's stare on me. I even caught him watching at me when I accidently dropped my pen on the floor and I bent over to take it back from the ground. The class ended pretty fast, I thought it would have been worst than it was. I went out of the class and made my way to the music department, were the repition would be. When I arrived, Matt and Val were already there with Dameon, not long later, Jimmy and Zacky arrived. The only one that wasn't there was Brian. He arrived like 5 minutes later.

“Sorry guys, I forgot my guita..” Brian stopped himself when he saw me. I looked around me, everyone was looking at the scene without really understanding. Brian cleared his throat and continued. “guitar.” He said as he passed in front of me and went to sit on the couch, trying to ease the awkward moment.

“So let's get started.” he said as he plugged his guitar into the amp next to him.

I know it's really small! But I am in abig rush these time and I really wanted to respect that it's every saturday and wednesday, but god damn it's hard sometimes wih the school! anyway hope you still enjoy xxx love your comments
