Runaway

*Johnny’s POV*

Mel has been avoiding me all day. She didn’t let me have a chance to apologize to her for the way I acted earlier and accused her on cheating on me. I have to do all I can to show her how sorry I am and beg her for forgiveness. I don’t want to lose her I love her too much for that. I’m the most happy when she’s with me.

I don’t know why but I think I feel like I’m losing her already. The whole thing of her not
speaking to me and locked in the backroom. I don’t know, I just don’t know what I’ll do if I lose her, I’ll never forgive myself for what I’ve done.

“Come on man, show’s about to start.” Brian picks up my bass and hands it to me. “And don’t
worry about Mel. Just let her be emotional and do what girls do after having a fight with their
boyfriends. Then she’ll come running back to you, forgetting the fight ever happened.”

I know Brian is probably telling me this just to make me feel better. I still appreciate it though.
“Let’s rock this shit.” I forced on a smile.

I just hoped Brian was right, that Mel and I would make up. I want to make up with her, I don’t want us to be fighting out of nothing, I just want her to stop avoiding me, and just have hot crazy make up sex to show her how much I love her.

“Out a boy and if Mel still haven’t come to her since yet, we’ll go out and have a couple of
drinks, we’ll have a guy’s night out.” Brian patted me on my shoulder and began walking
onstage.

Matt had Jimmy stalling on stage with his amazing drum solos until Brian and I arrived. As fans cheered to my appearance and Brian’s, Matt faced me for a few seconds. He nodded his head then turned back into the crowed and began to start the show with Unbound.



*Mel’s POV*

I walked out of the bus and headed towards backstage or at least I tried to. There was a guard preventing me from heading backstage. “I’m with Avenged sevenfold, I’m the bassist’s girlfriend.”

“Yeah, and I’m Papa Gates, Synyster Gates’s father.” The security replied with sarcasm. “Move along now.” The security grabbed my arm to drag me outside. “No really I am, just ask him, ask him please.”

“Look you have any idea how many fan girls say they are the band member’s girlfriends, too
many to count. If you don’t have backstage passes, then you can’t come in.

“But I’m not lying! I’m telling the truth ask him just as him please. Then you’ll see that I’m not
lying.” I grew irritated.



*Matt’s POV*

Jason Berry walked onstage to only hand me a note as I stood on the side of the stage, watching a fan sing “Walk” by Metallica. I opened up the note, having my full attention. There was someone who declares to be Johnny’s girlfriend, it must be Mel. Johnny must have forgotten to give Mel her pass.

I stepped back onto the stage as the fan finished singing the sing. “Give it up for Marcos!” I
spoke into the mic. Everyone cheered for the fan. The fan got off the stage after raising his fist up in the air. “I feel like I’m starting to lose my voice so, how about I leave you guys with Syn doing his solo, alright?”

The fans cheered. Brian gave me a puzzled look but then decided to play along and began doing a solo. As stage lights focused on Brian, I walked over to Johnny and handed him the note. He set off his bass then followed me back stage.

There were guards blocking Mel’s way. Her face seemed to lit as she saw me and Johnny
stepping in.

“Oh thank god you guys are here. Can you two please explain to these dip shits that I’m
Johnny’s girlfriend?”

I was about to speak up, telling the guards that Mel is telling the truth, but before I even had the chance Johnny seemed to beat me to it.

“I’ve never seen her in my live.” Johnny stared at her.

My eyes widen in shock and in disbelief, did Johnny just denied that the two are together? I really wanted to kick his ass, how could he say such a thing? Is he ashamed of her? I know I wouldn't, I would've shown her off to the world.


“What? Johnny, we are together, you are my boyfriend.” Mel’s expression was just as shock as mines. “Please tell them.”



*Johnny’s POV*

“How could I? if it isn’t even true.”

Mel’s eyes began to water. I could see the pain with them. Mel has to understand I’m doing for the best. She has to understand I’m doing this for her. I just hope she one day she’ll be able to find forgiveness.
