A Plan Put into Action
Ever since I asked Skully about those messages on his phone, he’s been so determined to prove to me that he wasn’t doing anything with those girls and now I believe him. He even took off from work so we could be together these past 2 weeks. I really can’t wait for tonight. He’s planned an entire romantic night or going to a nice restaurant and we’ll sit on the beach watching the sun set. I didn’t really know what to wear and I wasn’t the kind of person to wear dresses so I dressed in my best pair of jeans, a nice shirt, and slipped the promise ring over my finger. I hardly ever take the ring off my hand. I mean except for when I shower of course but other than that, I never take it off. I left my bedroom and went down to the kitchen where Zacky and Gena were sitting and having some dinner.
“Hey guys.” I said smiling.
“Hey Raven! My, my don’t you look good!”
“Thanks Gena.” I said blushing like a fool.
“What are you and Skully doing tonight?”
“He’s taking me to dinner and we’re going down to the beach to watch the sun set.” I said smiling at every thought I get about Skully.
“Sound so romantic. Zacky, why don’t we do that sometime?”
“How about tomorrow?” Zacky asked smiling and Gena looked at him with so much love in her eyes. It’s the same look Skully gives me. A knock rang through the house and I said goodbye to them and went to the door and pulled it open and was greeted by Skully.
“Hey baby. Are you ready to go?”
“Yes. I’ll be back later Zacky!” I yelled just before leaving the house. We got into his car and started down the road. The wonderful thing about living here in Huntington Beach is that everything is within a short driving distance from my house. Skully pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant and ran over to my side of the car and helped me out. What a gentleman.
I couldn’t help but smile as he held my hand and we walked into the restaurant. The Matre d’ seated us at our reserved table and brought us our ordered drinks. The waiter that served us gave us menus and we didn’t need any time to figure out what we wanted. We both ordered a huge plate of spaghetti to share. Dinner went with no flaws and soon the sun would be setting over the ocean. Skully paid for our meal and we went over to the pier and sat down on a bench watching the sun set over the horizon. It was so beautiful the way the sun lit up the sky and the blue ocean and made everything a brilliant bright orange. It would be worthwhile just to freeze the moment in time just to keep staring at the sight in front of me.

After I had picked up Raven and we ate at the restaurant, I kept looking for Ivan since he told me he would be waiting for me at the pier once night had fallen. I watched as Raven was mesmerized over the sun reflecting off the ocean. I could tell she loved the beauty of it but I kept looking. I spotted Ivan leaning against the building beside us in the shadows and he nodded his head slowly at me and I nodded right back. It’s time to put the plan into action.
“Honey, I think I see a friend of mine over there and I’d love to introduce you to him.” I said smiling as I stood up.
“Where?” I pointed and she smiled at me before I grabbed her hand and we walked over to Ivan. Ivan walked towards us and I stopped Raven and turned her to where her back was to Ivan.
“First I need to tell you something.” I said looking into those eyes.
“What is it?” I watched as Ivan pulled a cloth from his pocket and quickly place it over her mouth and held her in place. She struggled against him until her body went limp.
“You did a good job Skully. Now help me with this bitch.” I took her feet and we carried her over to Ivan’s car. He opened the trunk and put her inside and put a piece of duct tape on her mouth to keep her quiet if he woke.
“I’ll call you when I want you to come. Remember what I said about Zacky and the others.”
“I remember and I will make sure no one knows I’m home.” I said nodding.
“Good.” Ivan shut the trunk of his car and got into the driver’s seat before driving away. Oh I want to be there when the look of seeing Ivan again is etched all on her face.
