Shephard of Fire

"Matt." I asked.
Matt turned slowly and stared at me his eyes were dark and his face stained with blood. I couldn’t help myself when I kneeled in front of him I had to feel him so I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his head.
"Matt I'm here now Shhh."
He dug his head into the crook of my neck and wrapped his arms around me.
"Hungry" he whispered hoarsely, Hearing him talk in that way and act how he was made me angry he was the scariest man in the world and now he was reduced to this.
I nodded as I pulled him up "Don't worry you can have whatever you want."
Before I knew what was happening Matt bit in to my collarbone I screamed in pain as I felt his teeth puncture the bone. I don't know why he chose one of the boniest parts of my body to bite or even how he could bite me I was just as weak as him. He pulled away after a bit and bit my neck, then when time passed he moved to my chest and so on. He suddenly pulled away and stared at the door where Chris the guard was holding a guard; Matt set me down on it and walked out the room. Chris followed pushing the bed behind Matt asking me if I was okay repeatedly.
Matt grabbed a guard and bit in to him then did the same to the next this went on until Matt collapsed with the 10th guard. Chris rushed over trying to pick matt up, I sighed and climbed off the bed. I wobbled to Chris and helped him with matt, once he was on the bed I held on to Chris to steady myself. Chris picked me up and put me on the bed next to matt, I didn’t complain and laid down wrapping my arms around Matt.
Chris shot people and made his way to the room where the rest of the guys where, Gates came over and looked at Matt who was now naked and unconscious in my arms. He grabbed my face and looked it over, I had an urge to bite him so I snapped at him like a dog would he smirked and shook his head.
Johnny walked over with Heather under his arm and whispered something in Gates ear, Gates nodded and picked up a man in a lab coat.
"Eat Rory."
I shook my head, I wasn’t like them I only had blood when I was pregnant.
He bit in to the man's arm and pushed the wound in to my mouth; I choked a bit and swallowed until nothing more came out. Gates dropped the body and made a small cut on Matt's shoulder, He pushed my head until my lips were on his cold skin. I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the taste of Matt flowing down my throat it was exhilarating. My entire body started to tingle and I felt less and less pain, Gates pulled me away from matt and off the bed.
"Alright Rory we need to get out and I need your help to Get Matt out Alive. Do you remember anything Matt Taught you about hand to hand combat?"
I Nodded and took the riffle from a body on the floor.
"Okay you Guard Matt with every thing you got well go ahead and clear as much as we can okay?"
I Smiled at Gates "I'm glad you’re here."
He winked and kissed my head "I'm glad you’re here as well."
He grabbed Zacky and walked off, everyone was following even heather who kept her eyes on Johnny the entire time. Johnny walked ahead with Gates and Chris walked behind me pushing Matt.
As guards jumped out and occupied the guys I started to make a pathway for Matt shooting some guy's and hitting others with the back of my riffle. Chris followed and I Grabbed Heather's shirt pulling her with us, she was still staring at Johnny some thing we will address later when Matt is doing better.
Finally I felt the cold night breeze hit my face, my feet froze at the feeling of fresh snow the moon was hiding but the stars illuminated the sky. Chris whistled loudly and a van drove up to us, the side door opened and I was a mad that looked like Chris only different he smiled and jumped out. I pushed Heather in to the van and she started to yell for Johnny like she was being murdered.
"Johnny! Jonathan."
"Shut her up," said the look alike.
I raised an eyebrow and hit her on the forehead with the back of my riffle, if more guards came they would take matt from me and they would kill him for sure! Chris stared at me and pushed matt in to the van with help from his friend, I sat next to matt and pulled his head in to me. The boys came out and soon we were all in the van, Johnny was glaring daggers at me for what happened to heather and I was glaring back at him for thinking he could have Matt's and mines daughter. We got on a jet and fled the country Zacky mentioned Transylvania and some crap about Matt having a castle we could hide in.
On the jet Chris gave me some pants and a shirt to wear and a large blanket to cover Matt's body with. I sat there staring at Matt wondering why I couldn’t feel his Heart and why I didn’t know he was alive. Tears rolled down my cheeks I was so happy to have Matt in my arms again, so happy to hear his voice.
Gates walked over and sat down with an arm around me, he pulled me to him and rubbed my back.
"Matt's not going to be the same after this, with you I mean. You will have to be strong and patient with him I'm not sure if they didthe same thing to all of us but I know Matt went through a lot trying to keep you alive."
I just nodded and held on to his leg, Gates sat there with me the entire ride. I didn’t sleep I couldn’t all I could do was stare at Matt etching his face in to the darkest corners of my mind.
When we finally arrived Gates and Zacky carried Matt in to a gorgeous large bedroom with a canopy bedcovered in a red comforter, everything in this room was stellar it looked like those old movies. the head board and the bed posts were carved with plant like designs and colored lightly with a gold paint, drapes hung from the canopy and were tied to the posts, the comforter was a deep red with gold stitching. I looked at Zacky and he smiled taking me to the restroom where there was a beautiful stand alone porcelain bathtub just like they used in the old days, the bathroom was nice and clean.
"Look you should stay with Matt and take care of him, I'll keep an eye on Johnny and Heather. Help yourself to the bathtub you could use it." He walked away with Gates and shut the door leaving just a candle lit in the room.
The hot water felt so good against my body almost as good as Matt did when were in the bathtub together. I soaked for about an hour and begun to scrub myself trying to remove the years. My hair was the worst I nearly finished the entire bottle of conditioner untangling it, yeah I lost a lot of hair this way but I didn’t care I wanted to be clean.
When I finished I dried up, there was no sense in looking for clothes because I knew there were not any I stared at Matt and smiled. Since Matt was also dirty I decided to give him a sponge bath. I filled a bowl with warm water and soap then with a small towel I started to clean the gunk and stains of blood. I didn’t know if it was his blood or someone else's, I cleaned out the water and repeated this for about five times before filling the bowl with just water. I dragged the towel around his stomach and up his chest and over his shoulders; I cleaned his neck and went down his body his legs his feet, and his member. I half expected him to get a hard on but I guess not everything is like the stories right. I finished with his face, planted small kisses over his lips, and then put everything away so I could lay down with Matt. I scooted as close as I could and threw a leg over his all I needed now was to have him holding me.
"Matt if you can hear me I'm sorry about everything I promise when you wake up I'll be by your side forever."
I woke up a few hours later to an empty bed I sat up and heard a grunt, I looked around and found Matt in the corner of the room with his fists balled up staring at me. I climbed out of the bed and pulled the candle closer to look at Matt his eyes showed e something I had never seen before, fear.
"Matt, what's wrong handsome?"
He blinked a few times "handsome, pain" he looked down when he said pain my eyes followed. I smiled when I noticed what was wrong He had an erection and it was probably bugging him.
