“Gena, its none of your business what I’m doing here. You’re the one that dumped me remember?” I was pissed; Gena had kept of texting me throughout the night so I decided it was time to give her piece of my mind. I sat there staring at the ceiling. Gena was such a bitch. Why would she cause so much trouble for me if she didn’t want to be with me anyway? Leilani helped me through some of it yesterday but still she just won’t stop texting me.

“Dude, were going to start taping.” Syn yelled, banging on my bedroom door. I got up and put on a tank top and shorts. It was a pool day. I walked out the door to see all the ladies lined up in swim suits. I was definitely ready for this challenge.

“So for this challenge you girls will have to save our very own Zacky.” Syn smiled. Huh? I looked at him awkwardly. I only received a wink as he continued to explain, “Zacky will fake drown in this here pool and you girls will be timed. The fastest time will win a date tonight and will be safe from tonight’s elimination.” He smiled. “Really Brian?” I asked, not really wanting to fake drown twenty-four times. He just smiled at me, urging me to jump in the pool. I shook my head, continuing on with our challenge.

“Syn I can’t swim.” Nona interrupted. “Are you kidding me?” He was irritated. She then rolled her eyes. “You’re from Cali and hang on the beach. You know how.” He argued. “I tan on the beach. I don’t swim.” She spat, rolling her eyes even more. “Fine, you’re disqualified.” He smirked, continuing with our challenge. “Zoey, you’re first.” He said, getting his stopwatch and whistle.

Stormy’s point of view.

I was patiently awaiting my turn. I was getting more nervous as time went by. I really liked Zacky and I knew I was good at swimming being a lifeguard and all but I was still nervous about it. The first twenty girls had gone, me being one of the last four girls. He looked so tired I felt bad.

“Stormy, you’re up.” Syn smiled. I watched as he started to sink into the pool. I continued to wait until Syn blew the whistle. “Syn, go.” I said, watching as Zacky finally reached the bottom. He continued to smirk. “Syn, you want him to really drown?” I argued, starting to get furious knowing he was tired. He finally blew the whistle after what felt forever. I jumped and soared down as fast as I could. I finally reached him and his “lifeless” body and lifted it to the surface.

“Thank you.” He breathed, his green eyes barreling through my blue ones. I smiled innocently. “I was worried your friend was going to let you drown for real.” I really was worried for him.“Probably.” He smiled. I let him go and lifted myself up the stairs. I then winked at Syn, knowing how fast I was compared to the other girls before me. I waited for the rest of them to go and finally awaited my results. I really needing to go on this date and be safe.

Zacky’s point of view.

“So the slowest time, besides anti-water Nona is Lynn with 34 seconds. You damn near killed my bud.” Syn announced, Lynn being the biggest loser of this competition. “Now, with the fastest times. There was a 14 second tie between two ladies but, the fastest being at 14.3 seconds. The winner of today’s challenge, a date with my man Zacky and is safe from tonight’s elimination is Stormy.” Syn smiled.

“No fair, she’s a lifeguard.” Robin announced. “I tied her, I know I did.” She argued, in disgust of her not winning. Me and Syn both just shrugged. Regardless, Stormy won. She then kicked a lawn chair and through her towel, walking into the house. “Wow.” I mumbled to myself, thinking this nice girl from Nashville was having a fit over nothing. It had changed my opinion of her.

“Anyway. Thank you girls for actually participating. I’ll see the rest of you at eliminated tonight.” I smiled, thanking the girls. I then turned to Stormy. “Go pack a bag; I’m taking you for a lunch date on the beach.” I smiled, hugging her before walking into the house to get ready myself.
