Roadtrip

Mia’s POV
The guys needed to be at the venue to soundcheck at 2. Jimmy begged me to come with him, because he wanted me to meet “everyone” over there. “Everyone” would be all the crew of Avenged Sevenfold, they had flown in for this show to set everything up and make sure the audience got what they deserved. Jimmy was excited to see everyone again, but I think he was even more excited that he could drum on his own kit again.

I didn’t want to leave Izzie behind, mostly because everyone would be here, that made that no one was left to watch her at the hotel, but when she finally had calmed down, she had been barely able to keep her eyes open. When I came back into the room after fighting Jimmy for not being willing to come with him to the venue, she was in a deep, deep sleep and I decided to go with Jimmy for an hour and then go back. I wanted to take care of her, but I guess she needed a little time for herself too.

Now I had let go of worrying over Izzie for a bit, I got more nervous the closer we got to the venue. Brian being in the van didn’t help either. He leaned over to my seat “How is she?” I snapped at him “How do you think, you dick!?!” I turned around again, trying to focus on Jimmy, I bit my nails.
“Don’t be nervous” Jimmy put his hand on mine “They will love you, just like I am” he put his arm around me, pulled me to his side and kissed my temple. I wasn’t so sure I was ready to meet all these new people, these people that were so important to Jimmy.

As soon as we entered the venue, everyone scattered, Brian and Zacky flew over to the stage, examining the guitars that were displayed there, Matt walked around, shaking a lot of hands, greeting everyone. Jimmy took my hand and dragged me over to the stage, showing me his drumkit, sitting on his seat behind it “This is it, hottie, this is where I always felt happiest” He pulled me on to his lap, whispering in my ear “But that was until I met you”, he kissed my cheek.
“Rev! Who is this pretty girl? She is way too pretty for you!” Two guys, looking very much the same, greeted Jimmy with a handshake. “Mia, these are the Berry brothers. Guys, this is Mia, my girlfriend” They both grabbed one of my hands and kissed them “Well done, Jimmy” they both chuckled, leaving to fix things on the stage. I suddenly heard the sound of a very fast and shredding guitar, it was loud, and heart wrenching. I looked over to the place where the sound came from. Brian. He was totally absent, he was alone with his guitar, noticing nothing but the music. “Oh boy” Jimmy whispered worried. I was curious what he meant by that, but I didn’t want to ask, I didn’t want to have to do anything with Brian, ever again.

“Let’s go, I will introduce you to the rest” Jimmy held my hand as he took me backstage. I shook a lot of hands, heard a lot of names, but I had forgotten the first one, as soon as I met the last. Jimmy never lost his enthusiasm though, he kept making up different ways to introduce me.
“This is my girlfriend”, “This hottie is mine”, “This girl is off limits for anyone, she belongs to me”. As soon as he was smirking to someone that he was the only one who could fuck me, I knew it was time to go.
“Jimmy, I’m going back to the hotel”
“No hottie! I’m sorry, I was just joking. Really!”
I smiled at him “I’m not mad Jimmy, but it’s almost 4.30 and I already stayed longer than I planned, I want to go back to Izzie” I tiptoed and put my arms around his neck “You do your thing and make sure you sound the best you can sound tonight, I will go back and make myself pretty enough to be a rockstar’s girlfriend” I kissed him softly, but the access he wanted was quickly granted, feeling him deepen the kiss as soon as he hit my lips.
“You are always fit to be my girlfriend, sure you can’t stay?”
“I need to get back to Izzie, James, she needs me now”
“Okay, I’ll miss you”
“I’ll miss you too”

I rushed over to the hotel and entered Matt’s room, finding Izzie, coming out of the bathroom, wrapped in a big white towel. Her one hand in her hair, shaking it lose, leaving her natural waves in it. “I’m letting it dry like this”
“Perfect, your hair has always been one of your best features” I smiled at her “How are you feeling?”
“I don’t know, a little numb I guess” she shrugged “Do I have to beg to let me get out of this thing tonight?”
“You can beg all you want, but you are not getting out of this, it’s only a one night only offer. Just trust me, honey, you will love it”
She sighed “Okay, what should I wear?”
“This” I handed her a dress I had already picked out for her this afternoon, it was cute and sexy and she could totally work it.
“Hell no, that is way too short!”
“Put it on! You look amazing in it, and I know how it makes you feel.... Conquer the world tonight... it’s yours” I hugged her and watched her get dressed, putting on a little make up, shake out her hair. “Is this acceptable?” She asked, making a little turn for me.
“You don’t even realize how pretty you are, do you?”

She blushed “Shut up!” She pulled out her bag and searched for some clothes. When she finally found what she was looking for, she threw the clothes at me
“Here, you need to wear this. Then I will do your hair and make-up and turn you in to a rockstar wife!”
“Izzie!”
“Okay, Okay, rockstar gírlfriend!” she stuck her tongue out to me “Now, get dressed” she slapped my ass as I turned around.

As usual she had picked the perfect outfit for me, I was comfortable, but felt sexy as hell. Jimmy would love this! And it would definitely make me confident enough to face this thing tonight... this whole new thing that was so important to the guy I.... uh... really liked... It would hopefully make me feel brave enough to face this without Izzie.
I sat on the closed toilet while Izzie did my hair and make-up and as usual, she did an amazing job. Her hand stopped mid action when we heard another voice in the room, next to Matt’s and Jimmy’s who had been there the past hour.

“Hey, what are you guys doing here?”

“Fuck! Is that Brian? I don’t want to see him, I don’t know if I can” I saw panic in her eyes. I stood up and placed us both in front of the bathroom mirror. “Look at you, look at us, he’s got nothing on you, Iz. Let’s go out there and make him see what he’s never going to get again”
I saw fire in Izzie’s eyes
“There it is. Keep that thought” I said to her as I opened the door. I just hoped Olly would be here soon.

Jimmy’s POV
I smiled when I saw Matt pacing my bedroom. “What’s wrong Matt?”
I stood before the bathroom, waiting for Izzie and Mia to finally come out.
“You nervous for the show?”
“What? No… I need to talk to that guy first… I don’t want Izzie to go with someone I haven’t checked first.”
“Should have checked Brian first, too.” I replied with a smirk.
“Ha ha.”
“Oh man, you really are concerned, huh? Being all big brother?” I asked him now serious.
“Yeah man, I mean… shit… I don’t want to see her cry again, I couldn’t stand it this morning, my heart was bleeding, I didn’t know how to calm her down. I hate this feeling of helplessness… What would you feel like letting Mia go on a date with someone you don’t know…” Matt said and I just lifted my eyebrow at him. Letting Mia go on a date with someone, out of the fucking question!
“Oh alright, yeah… sorry. That’s different.”
“I met that guy, Oliver, he seemed to be cool. He is a cop, so he knows how to defend her. He is built like you, so he can definitely stand his ground if something got out if hand. If you will feel better I let Mia stay in close contact with Izzie, writing messages, to know where they are and how it’s going?”
“Yes, that sounds good.”

“Hey, what are you guys doing here?” Brian walked into my room and I lifted an eyebrow at him, he was the last person Izzie and Mia wanted to see.
“Hey… you should better leave.” I told Brian.
“Why is that?”
“Mia and Izzie are getting ready.”
“And?”
“And I don’t think you should be around…” Brian frowned at me.

Finally the door opened and Mia and Izzie walked outside, my eyes swept over both of them and stayed with Mia.
“Damn you two, look amazing, I could eat you up right away.” I said and grabbed Mia into a hug, wanting to kiss her lips but she pulled away.
“Don’t ruin it. Izzie took great care to make me look like this.” Mia replied.
“Does she look perfect or does she look perfect?” Mia motioned to Izzie and I saw Matt lifting an eyebrow and Brian’s mouth hanging open.
“Wow, Iz… you look fantastic.” Matt hugged her and smiled but then “Isn’t that dress a little too short?”
“Is that outfit not a little unfitting to go to a metal concert?” Brian asked when he finally regained his voice.

Oh, we haven’t told him that Izzie would be going on a date, have we?!
Surprise…

Izzie and Mia completely ignored Brian and I saw him narrowing his eyes, not liking that he wasn’t getting any attention, he better should have kept his mouth shut, but knowing Brian, he just couldn’t.
“You dressed yourself up for me?” Brian asked with an arrogant smirk which was gone the instant we heard a voice behind us.

“Nope, that would be for me.” We all turned around and there stood Mia’s friend Olly, as promised with Police hat.
I had to smile and saw Izzie frown, we couldn’t really see his face with the hat pulled to the front.
“Really Mia? You tell me to get ready for a date and then you order a stripper?”
Mia burst out laughing and Izzie frowned even more.
“Well, I don’t know Iz, maybe we can talk about the stripping later on, but let’s see how the date works first?” Olly said and Izzie’s eyes widened.
“Is that… are you…” Izzie looked confused.
“Izzie, you remember my friend Olly. Olly you sure remember Izzie, your date.”
Olly walked forward taking his hat off and grinned. “Hey Izzie, it’s been a while. You look beautiful as ever.”
“How… I mean why are you… MIA!” Izzie yelled turning to her.
“Thank me later, honey.”

“Wait… wait. Hey… can I talk to you for a second. Matt by the way…” Matt held his hand out to Olly and he nodded, knowing what would come.
Matt walked outside with Olly, me and Brian, who was still gaping at the whole situation, following.
“Alright, I just want to make this clear. Izzie will be back after our concert is done. If I will hear any complaints, you gonna stand up for them. Her phone is kept on and we can contact her. We have a serious situation here, Izzie… Izzie is like a sister to me and I don’t want her to get hurt.” Matt threw a sidelong glance to Brian.
“I completely fine with everything. You will get her back unharmed in one piece and with a smile on her face.” Olly replied not even sounding arrogant, I like that guy.
“Good, so we are clear.”
“Yes, fine. Then have fun.”
“We will oh and a good show, you guys are amazing.” Olly and Matt hugged, they seemed to came along good.
I shrugged... perfect.

“Wait, Matt!” Brian suddenly told him.
“What?”
“You can’t just let Izzie go with that guy!” Brian sounded pissed.
“Why?”
“You don’t know nothing about him, what about her safety now?”
Matt lifted an eyebrow, “Now, you care?”
“I was caring the entire time. We can’t let her leave, I thought they would be at the show. Who is that guy, we know nothing about him…”
“Mia knows him, they are friends. We met him yesterday… Izzie knows him, too. He is also a cop so…”
“Yeah, I think he is fine.” Matt nodded.
“Wait, how can you trust Mia’s intuition in people? I mean… hello… she was together with a fucking stalker!”
I turned my face to him, not even my best friend would get away with saying something like that about my girl “Watch your fucking tongue.” I took a step forward. “It’s not her fault.”
“Yes, Brian, don’t be pissed that Izzie moves on, you showed her what you thought about her pretty clear yesterday. So back the fuck off.”
Matt replied and we walked back into the hotel room, seeing Izzie and Olly were about to leave. Mia hugged Izzie and me and Matt kissed her cheek.
“Have fun, honey!” Mia yelled as we all watched them walk away. Brian stormed out of the door and over to his room “WE’LL HAVE TO LEAVE IN AN HOUR, BE READY” Matt yelled, getting a slamming door in reply from Brian.
