Roadtrip

Mia’s POV
Zack and I were checking all the rooms and were just making small talk. In the 5th room Zack stopped me from walking out.
“Can I ask you something?”
I looked at him “Sure”
“Are you serious about Jimmy?”
“Whoa Zack! What the hell? Didn’t you learn to ease in a little before asking that kind of question?”
He looked at me confused, men.
“Seriously, you can’t just ask such a question out of the blue”
“Okay, I will ask some others first then” he smirked
“Did you ever cheat on a previous boyfriend?”
“ZACK!!”
“No? Still not the right question?”
I walked into the next room, what the fuck was he doing!?
“Mia, wait! I was just kidding!” He started closing windows too and met me in the middle.
“I just want to get to know some things from you, I mean.... you ARE dating one of my best friends, you know”
We were walking into the hallway again, we still had 5 more rooms to go.
“Okay, you will get 5 questions, each for every room we have to do” Zack nodded
“That’s fair”

We walked into the next room, closed every window and Zack and I saw each other again at the door. I looked at him expectantly
“How long was your longest relationship?”
“A little over 4 years”
“How did it end?”
I held my hand up “No, no, 1 question”

Next room we went in were only a few windows. Zack lingered around, waiting for me to close the last window.
“Okay, next question, but I want a better answer than only a few words... “ I shrugged
“Depends on your question”
“Would you every cheat on someone?”
“That one is simple... No.... If you feel like cheating, you have to leave your partner, something is definitely wrong then. So no, I wouldn’t.” I looked over at him “A shame for you Zack, but all your chances are done now I’m with Jimmy, I will never cheat on him” I smiled.
“As if I would do that to my friend” he huffed.
“As if you didn’t try in the beginning” I teased.
“That was only fun”
“Sure, Zack, Sure. Come on, let’s do the next room”

Only two windows had to be closed in the next office, so I waited at the door, while Zack did the work. I leaned against the doorpost, waiting for him to finish. He walked towards me and leaned on the doorpost too, opposite of me.
“What do you think of marriage?”
“I would love to marry some day, but just something small, just friends and family. And I’m not one to rush into things”
Zack frowned.
“You wouldn’t say it, seeing how I am with Jimmy now, but that’s not normal for me. He is just... “
“Special” Zack filled in. I smiled “Yeah special”

I let myself slide down to the wall “You do the last two rooms, I’m tired” Zack smiled “Sure, we wouldn’t want the princess to get to tired” he stick out his tongue before he went into the room. It wasn’t long before he came out. He stood in the door opening “Do you want to have children?”
That man was most certainly looking for the borders of what was socially acceptable, but I liked Zack, I trusted him. “Yeah, I think I do, some time....” I smiled, I couldn’t help but wonder, what would mine and Jimmy’s children look like... I shook my head and smiled... One day, maybe, one day.
“Well, you dream a little more, while I do the last room” Zack walk over to the last room and quickly came back out “Were already closed” He stood against the wall opposite of where I sat and slid down to sit on the floor too.
“Did I ease in to it enough now?” I knew what was coming, and nodded
“Are you serious about Jimmy?”
“Yes” I answered, looking him straight in his eyes.
“Good, because Jimmy is about you, I would hate to see him get hurt”
“I will never deliberately hurt him.. I might even... You know...”
A smile crept over his face and I was praying he wouldn’t make me say it.

He stood up and held out his hand to me “Come on, let’s go meet the others before Jimmy comes to get us and breaks my jaw” he chuckled.
I got up and walk next to him, nudging him with my shoulder “thanks for this, Z”
“No thanks necessary, I enjoyed myself, and I’m a hell of a lot wiser” He put his arm around me as we walked down. It was nice to have friends like him, like all of them actually....

Brian’s POV
Damn it, I knew exactly why Matt was doing this… he wanted us to take short shit, so Izzie and I also couldn’t have our fun.... he was right... Johnny was a definite cockblocker.
Clever move…
“Alright, Johnny you will get into the rooms and Izzie and I will be waiting here.” I told him and shoved him forward.
“No fucking way. I am not supposed to leave you alone and I won’t be hearing you doing Izzie again.” Johnny replied and I felt Izzie slap my back. “See! He will keep reminding me about that!”
“How could I know... alright...then let’s move and get this done.”
We were done in nearly 30 minutes, since we all moved into one room at a time, this was an easy job done.

The last room Izzie went in, I sneaked in behind her, when she closed one of the windows I pressed myself up her back and held my hand in front of her mouth.
“SSshhhhh… It’s me” Izzie opened her eyes wide then looked at me and relaxed a little.
“Damn it, Brian. Should I get a heart attack?” Izzie asked.
“Nooo, but maybe I could make your heart rate faster by using my fingers on your body…” I murmured and moved my hand to the button of Izzie’s pants.
“Brian, we cannot…” She moaned when my hand slipped inside her pants.
“Guys? Where are you?” Johnny’s voiced sounded behind us.
“Ah fuck it.” I pulled my hand away and turned my head and saw Johnny standing there.
“You are not doing, what I think you are, or?”
“No.. nothing happened.” Izzie pulled away from me and I had to wait a second longer before I could walk again.

Izzie and Johnny left the room “What are you doing here?” I heard Izzie ask.
I readjusted my pants and walked out and saw Johnny and Izzie sitting on two office chairs… “Yeah... What are you doing here?”
“I thought since we are done, we could do a little race?” Johnny said.
“Race with what?” I frowned.
“Office Chair Race.”
I rolled my eyes at him, “For real Johnny, are you a child?”
But Izzie clapped excitedly.
“Oh yeah.. let’s start. First me against Johnny and then the winner against Brian...” Izzie replied and I smiled at her being so excited.
“Fine, then start.”
“Wait, what gets the winner?” Izzie asked.
“Hmm… Oh if I win, you won’t revenge my little Karaoke session. If one of you will win, I will make myself invisible and you can have your fun here, without me telling Matt or being around.”
“Yes.” I replied immediately. I would win this easily. Look at his short legs, he wouldn’t get far anyway.

Izzie lost… shit… he was really fast that little one.
“Alright, let me get this victory then…” I kissed Izzie and placed my knee on top of the chair and Izzie counted down from three to one and yelled “GO”!
I started and we were pretty much neck to neck but at the last few feet Johnny seemed to get faster and faster and won the race.
“Ah man… how can you be this fast?”
“YES!!” Johnny yelled and “Told you so!”
“What the fuck are you three doing here?” Matt’s voice sounded behind us.
“Just having some fun… we were done here…” I replied with a shrug.
“We are also done and on our way down, come on… and bring the chairs back.. damn it.”

I grabbed Izzie to my side, “Sorry babe… Our fun time has to wait a little longer.”
She laughed, “I had my fun… but I think we can wait a little and have some more later…” She grinned and we walked down the stairs together.

Matt’s POV
Zack and Mia were the last to join us in the monitor room. Zack held Mia’s hand and when Jimmy walked towards them, he held her hand out as if she won a big prize, handing her over to Jimmy. “She is all yours man” Zack said as he handed Mia’s hand over to Jimmy and kissing her cheek. Mia smiled, it was all real friendly, and even Jimmy caught that, seeing he didn’t give Zack a black eye. Everyone was exhausted, but we still had an hour to go.

“We checked everything, we closed the windows, checked the doors twice, I think we are done. We still have one hour to go, what should we do?”
“Office Chair Race!!” Izzie screamed
I chuckled, her enthusiasm made me want to do it too.
“Okay, let’s get the chairs, the hall is wide enough for all of us to race at the same time, we will play knock out races. Last one to finish can’t compete in the next race”
“Yes!” Izzie yelled, running to get a chair, every one followed her.
We were all next to each other in the great entrance hall, ready to go. We all counted down together and at “Go” everyone spurted forward. Jimmy cheated, by knocking me out of my track, letting me finish last
“Damnit Jimmy! You cheated!”
“No I didn’t” he said with an innocent smile “Everything is allowed in Office Chair Racing”

“Allright, next round!” I counted down and yelled “Go” I smiled watching them all laugh and scream at each other. This was fun. Soon Izzie and Mia joined me on the sideline, leaving all of the others still racing for the title of Office Chair Race King and everlasting fame.
I wasn’t complaining that I was already out. I had Izzie on my one knee and Mia on the other, my arms around them, laughing with the three of us about all the stupid actions of the other 4.

“Matt, can I ask you something?” Izzie looked over to me. I nodded. “We are moving on tomorrow right?”
“Yeah, we will be heading for New York slowly, stopping somewhere halfway”
“Okay, well, Mia and I would like to have a day for the two of us, go to a spa or something”
“Then one or two of us will have to join you”
“Ah come on Matt we just want to go alone...”
“No. I promised to take care of you two, so I will”
Izzie pouted “We need some bonding time, some time for us, without boys, we can surely work this out, come on”
I sighed “We’ll see later, okay, now I just want to survive this job without accidents and get to my bed” We looked over to the others, making dangerous moves... I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them got into an accident.

As soon as Jimmy saw Mia on my lap, he was out of the race, soon followed by Brian, both snatching their girl from me. Now it was between Zack and Johnny and most of us thought Zack would easily win, but Johnny had a big smile on his face, like he knew he was going to win.
“I put my money on Johnny” Brian said and everyone looked at him amazed.
“That little bugger is fast!” He stated matter of factly.
Mia stood in between the two of them and counted down, waving her hands at her “Go!”
Zack wasn’t even remotely close to Johnny, who finish first by a long run
“HELL YEAH!!! KING OF THE OFFICE CHAIR RACE!!! YOU SHOULD ALL BOW DOWN TO ME”

Izzie and Mia got down on their knees bowing down to Johnny. Soon all of us were in a circle around Johnny, bowing down to him, laughing hard. This had been a fun night after all, but now... I just wanted to sleep.
