Roadtrip

Izzie's POV
After breakfast we all got in the van and we were on our way. Mia and Jimmy were on the backseat and Brian and I were in front of them. The others didn't want to sit with us, so they were all in the front seat together with Matt, who had been driving for the past 3 hours. I was still a little tired and I saw Mia was out too, she was all cuddled up against Jimmy, who was humming a song. In the time we hung around these guys I had already noticed Jimmy always having songs in his head... Most of the time the songs were nonexistent and waiting for a way to come out. He was always scrabbling words down, singing things to Brian and Matt or one of the others. I guess that was just how his brain worked, but come to think of it... it was more how the collective brain of this group of friends worked.

"Our love had been so strong for far too long, I was weak with fear that something would go wrong" I looked behind me to see where the mumbling came from and saw Jimmy looking over the sleeping form of Mia, stroking her hair softly, he continued, not even noticing me watching him "you had my heart, at least for the most part". Those few words sounded so sweet and intimate that I blushed and had to avert my eyes.

I turned back to my seat. Brian was playing with a loose strand of my hair, putting his finger tips to my neck every time he came close. I leaned into his body, making myself comfortable and looked up to him "Cut it out, Brian", he smirked "Why?"
"Because you are driving me crazy, that's why"
"No problem in me driving you crazy"
"Yes it is... I'm not going to be on edge all drive over to Cleveland, just because you can't keep your hands yourself"
"It will only make things better tonight baby"
He didn't quit, and I was already so full of want for him that I sighed. He shot me an evil grin, oh I can play this game, I will make him regret his decision to keep going. I moved my hand from his leg and moved it to the inside of his thigh, going over his jeans covered crotch. He grabbed my hand
"Oh hell no you are not!"
"Then quit driving me crazy!" He put the strand of hair behind my ear and chuckled. He leaned back, his arm around me and I put my head to his chest.

"JIMMY! What the fuck!!" I heard Mia yell and turned around. Jimmy had a feather in his hand and was teasing Mia with it, making her wake up. She hit the back of his head, Jimmy chuckled "You are boring when you are sleeping" he stated and then kissed her softly, I smiled, they were so cute it almost made me puke. I was a good thing I had a high tolerance when it came to Mia.

Jimmy’s POV
“I need a break. Come on, Matt. Pull over at the next gas station.” I complained.
“No, we still have a lot of miles ahead of us, we will make the next break in one hour, then we also exchange the driver.” Matt replied and looked at me in the review mirror.
“But Matt, I need to pee.” Izzie leaned forward lying her hand softly on Matt’s shoulder.
“Hmmm... alright. Fine... then we will have a break.” Matt said softly and I narrowed my eyes at him.
“For me you didn’t want to stop, but for her you will? Nice friend...” I pouted.
“For Mia I would as well.” Matt turned quickly around and smirked and then looked back on the road.
Izzie leaned over to me “I don’t really need to...” She whispered and winked at me.
“Thanks.” I nodded at her.
“I need to walk a little, my legs are hurting.” Mia said next to me and I looked at her.
“Give me one leg.” I told her.
She frowned at me but held one leg up and I pulled it on my lap, letting my hands wander underneath her pants and beginning to massage her calf and wandering higher.
Mia moaned a little and I smiled.
“Stop that!” Matt and Johnny yelled in unison.
“What?” I asked “I’m not doing what you think... I wouldn’t be doing that with all of you around.”
“I know someone who would.” Johnny looked at Brian and Izzie pointedly.
“Shut up.” Brian replied.
“Alright, there is a gas station. We will have a break, buy some drinks and use the restrooms then we will be back on the road for a few more hours.” Matt announced and pulled over to the gas pump.
“I will fill up the tank, we will meet again here in 10 minutes. And Jimmy and Brian I mean it, be here in 10, not longer I swear I will drive on without you.”
“Why are you saying that to us?” Brian asked innocently, while Zack slide open the door.
“Just keep it in mind.” Matt replied with a stern look at us.
“Yeah, we got it.” I replied and jumped out of the car and held my hand out to Mia to help her.
“10 minutes is short.” I whispered in her ear.
“No, Jimmy. Not here at some gas station... wait for the hotel.” Mia replied and I pouted.
“No fun.” I grabbed her hand anyway and moved with her into the small shop.
“Then let us buy some sweets... ohh and beer.. We need beer!” I said excitedly.
“Jimmy? For real beer and sweets?” Mia looked at me with a lifted eyebrow.
“Yeah? Why?” I frowned.
“Why didn’t you get a bag, we need to load that shit up.” Mia grinned at me and I pulled her in for a kiss.
“See people, that is why I love that woman.” I nearly yelled and didn’t care that I still was the only one saying these words. That might be a talk for another time, right now I was just happy to have her.

After our insane candy and beer shopping we walked back to the Van and Zack already got behind the wheel, his time to drive as Matt demanded.
“Everybody here?” Matt asked and looked over at me and Mia, and Brian and Izzie standing next to us.
“Fuck, where is Johnny?” Matt looked around.
“Don’t know, haven’t seen that short shit.” I replied and also looked around.
Matt sighed loudly “Will someone go and look for him, before I will get my hands on him and fucking kill him!”
“I’m going.” I announced and kissed Mia’s temple.
“I’m coming with you.” Izzie announced and we moved to the gas station again.
“There look, in the shop at the back talking with cashier girl.” I pointed in the direction.
“Is he flirting?” Izzie asked with a frown.
“Oh Izzie, please do me a favour and let us fool him. Please, pleeeaaasse.” I begged her and Izzie laughed.
“No wonder Mia can’t say no to you, look at these blue eyes and you just have to say yes... Alright... come on, let us have some fun.” Izzie said and we walked to the shop, I stood at the entrance not letting Johnny see me.
Izzie stormed over to Johnny and grabbed his arm.
“JOHNATHAN, how dare you just leave me in the car, I am pregnant. You said you just wanted to get me water and what are you doing here? Flirting with another girl? I thought you told me the last time was just a mistake a onetime mistake... and now?” Izzie yelled and Johnny looked at her wide eyed and in complete shock.
“Izzie? What the-” Johnny started but the cashier girl looked at Johnny and shook her head.
“You ass!” And with that she walked back behind her counter not glancing at Johnny twice.
I ran out of the shop and began to laugh hysterically, that look on Johnny’s face was so fucking hilarious.
“What did I ever do to you? She was about to give me her number!” Johnny complained when Izzie walked together with him towards the Van.
“Oh come on, Johnny. It was just a joke.” Izzie soothed him but also laughing now.
“You will regret that. I will think of revenge, Iz.” Johnny replied with narrowed eyes.
I couldn’t wait to tell the others what happened right now.

Mia’s POV
Johnny came back to the van first, his face was looking like a storm was coming “Gates, you better keep an eye on that girl of yours, because, so help me God, I will get back to her!”
“As if I control her!” Brian replied.
Johnny got into the van next to Zack, when Izzie and Jimmy came walking back to us, laughing loud. “Oh my god, Izzie is so damn funny! You wouldn’t believe what she just did!”

Jimmy started to tell the Johnny story, everyone laughed loudly.
“Yeah, Yeah, make fun of the short one” Johnny pouted. “It’s just too damn easy, short shit” Jimmy replied before getting into the van next to me.

Zack started the van and got on the road again.
Matt turned around in his seat, looking at Izzie and me. “So girls, let’s discuss important business now” I looked at him confused “What do you want to know?”
“I want to know your preferences in the most important thing in life... Music”
I laughed “Shoot, what do you want to know?”
“You both have to answer....Favorite band?”
“Nirvana” I replied “Foo Fighters” Izzie said “Dave Grohl is hot!” Brian lifted his brows “You are too, Bri” Izzie said sweetly, looking at Brian, placing a kiss on his cheek.
“That one was easy, next!”
“Okay, what do your parents think about you music?”
Izzie and I looked at each other a smiled widely “TOO LOUD!!” We yelled in unison, making all the guys laugh hard.
“Favorite song of the moment?”
“The Pretender!” Izzie was all enthusiastic, I had to listen to her talking about this Foo Fighters album for so many times before. She was totally in love with that song. Brian was pouting now “Oh come on don’t be a baby... Don’t tell me you never thought about doing Dave Grohl, in that bath of red paint?” Izzie was teasing Brian.
Jimmy came closer to me and whispered in my ear “Am I going to be jealous?” I giggled “Let me think.. hmmm, I have to say Alter Bridge with Watch over you. That song is fucking amazing” I looked over at Jimmy “Jealous?” He shook his head “No, Izzie is drooling over Dave Grohl, luckily you and Myles Kennedy are not planning a date anytime soon”
“You never know James, you never know” Jimmy looked at me, pulling me close, giving me a passionate kiss. After he let go, I was breathing heavily “Or not” I panted, making Jimmy smile widely “That’s what I thought”

“Keep your head in the game guys, we don’t have to watch you drool over each other every fucking time” Matt said dryly.
“Music or Lyrics?”
I knew Izzie and I agreed on this completely “Lyrics first and then music, we both do” I saw Izzie lean into Brian and whisper “but I’m close to changing my mind about that”.
“Do you play any instruments?”
We both shook our heads “But I would really like to learn”
“Me too!”
Jimmy got all excited by that “Oh, I will teach you! The next time I’m on drums, I will teach you!”. He pulled me onto his lap kissing my neck, he leaned into me “Maybe I can teach you the basics about rhythm tonight” Again he pulled me into a kiss, making me moan, we’d better get to that hotel soon, I was barely able to keep my hands to myself....

Matt looked at us and sighed loudly “Apparently this question game is over”
