Matt’s POV
“Alright guys, we are off track and as we already knew, it would be too far to drive to Denver in one run. So, I´m proposing to drive for another 3 hours and find a roadside motel. Then we have done like ¾ of the drive and we only need to drive for a little while tomorrow.” I looked around the guys, they all looked as exhausted as I was feeling, except for Jimmy and Mia, their little “getting lost” seemed to have given them a lot of energy.
“Okay, I’m down with that, but I’m not driving anymore” Brian muttered.
“Alright, Johnny will drive the van” I sighed, Brian loved to drive, but I knew he just wanted to sit with Izzie. I looked over at Mia and Jimmy “Do you need someone else to drive too, Mia?”
“No, I will be alright” she replied “Jimmy will keep me awake” Jimmy smiled at her all lovingly... That guy... I just prayed he wouldn’t get hurt, keeping this rowdy bunch together was already hard enough as it is.

After another 3,5 hour drive, we came across an motel. I was 10 pm and we were all deadbeat from driving the whole day.
“I think we should try here, it’s not much, but I need to sleep” I said.

“How much money can we spend on this hotel?” Zack asked.
“I mean, we are off track, we don’t have rooms rented for us, we need to pay it from our earned money, right?”

“Thanks to Jimmy and that he lost nearly all our money… We have to save the money we made yesterday and we should share the rooms. We could rent two rooms, I mean it’s just for one night…”
“Fine, then let’s go!”
“Wait.. who is sleeping with whom? If we share the rooms we gotta decide who will stay with whom in the rooms.” Zack asked and I saw him glancing at the couples.
Jimmy was holding Mia to his body and Brian was already kissing Izzie’s shoulder.
Yeah, we have to figure this out…
“Good, so… Is there anyone with a plan? Couples together? And the rest of us?” I asked and frowned, I didn’t want to sleep in one bed with Zack or Johnny, if I didn’t have to…
“Sounds good to me.” Brian nodded, “Jimmy can sleep on the couch me and the girls take the bed.”
“You wish!” Jimmy flipped him off.
“Fine.. so maybe Jimmy, Mia and Zack and Johnny? And Brian, Izzie and myself?” I asked.
“Nope, we won’t sleep in one room with Zack.” Jimmy shook his head.
“He will just try to hit on Mia again.”
“And I don’t want you sleeping in one room with Izzie, since the whole striptease action!” Brian looked angrily at Izzie and I smirked.
“Come on guys, we need to settle this, I want to sleep. I will rent two rooms, you figure out how we are going to do this!”

I walked inside to rent us two rooms, as the guy behind the desk was taking care of payment and keys I looked outside and saw Jimmy and Brian discussing heavily with the others. I sighed, I could imagine Jimmy’s reaction, seeing he was now officially dating Mia, as far as that would work out, but Brian.... He was acting strange, if he would just speak up about his clear feelings for Izzie, everything would be so much easier.

“Here you go, room 105 and 106, have a nice night. One of the rooms has a sofa bed, the other one a couch, so I guess you all could find a place to crash”
I nodded and took the keys “Thanks man”.
I walked back to the group, telling them about the rooms. “So, what’s the verdict?”
“Mia and I elaborated and we are going to share with you and Zack and Izzie and Brian can take Johnny”
“Fine it’s settled then, let’s get a last drink and head in, we have to leave early to get to Denver, I already called for a job, we can do a hotel shuttle run again and Jimmy and the girls can be hostesses, but we have to be there by two”

Izzie’s POV
I looked at myself in the mirror while I was brushing my teeth, I was kinda bummed that the sleeping arrangements had worked out like this. Brian had got me on edge since we left the gasstation for the last part of today’s drive. Matt had moved to the front to keep Johnny company, which left me and Brian alone in the back of the van.
