Carry On

"Uh-" Zack stuttered. "There's something you should know"

"Go on" I pushed.

"I can't have an affair with you Ren. Brian, he's like my brother. Your little Grace means the world to me and it's too much. I want you without keeping you a secret. But, sweetie you know these past two months touring--"

"Two?" I frowned.

"Y-yeah, like when we started touring"

"7 months ago?"

"What are you on about?"

"When you left for tour.." I sighed nervously.

"We left in June? Alright, you're hammered. Get to sleep"

"Brian has been away for 7 months Zack" I yelled.

....

The next day

I walked through my door and was greeted by an angry looking Brian holding Archie who was fast off.

"Gracies with Matt for the day before we head away"

"Missed you Archie baby" I took him away and kissed his head. "Mommy won't wake you"

"...yes I'm great thank you" Brian said sarcastically.

"I want some cuddles of you little man"

"Ren I'm leaving later, you think you could talk to me?!"

Everything that came out of his mouth, now, seemed to be all lies. I'd cried all night last night, basically cried myself sober. Whatever Brian was up too, he'd missed my full pregnancy and he'd lied his teeth to be for the past year.

"Do you think you could not lie to me for once?" I said calmly rocking Archie.

"What?"

"How long have you been on tour Brian?"

"7 m-months Renee you know this.."

"Hm yeah. See, last night you didn't want me sharing a room with Zack, not because you were worried about us sleeping together, you were worried your little secret would come out, huh?"

"Renee what are you talking about baby?"

"I am not your baby" I placed Archie in a small crib and walked up to Brian trying to keep my cool and trying to not break down again. "After your little weekend away, you are not coming back here and I fucking mean it"

"No Ren" he didn't seem upset, just calm. That pissed me off even more.

"I don't want to know what you've been getting up too, I heard the name Michelle mentioned in the reveling last night so I am not gonna here it. Get out, now" I yelled waking Archie up, his crys were almost as loud as mine.

"Your favorite place, just, be there on the 21st of August. Don't fucking forget. I'll be back Monday to get some things and we'll sort something out with the kids"
