In the middle of that night...

Brians POV

"Momma.." I heard a faint whisper followed by the shifts of Renee. "Mom.."

"Yes sweetie?" Ren yawned.

"I had a really bad dream, and I -- is that.. daddy?!"

"I'll take her to bed" I muttered to Renee giving her cheek a small kiss.

"It is!!!" she shouted.

"Gray, quiet down" I asked scooping her up. She clung her arms around my neck, and I took her into her bedroom. When we sat on her bed, my arms clung around her just as tight. "Sweetie I've missed my little girl so much!"

"Daddy" she sighed happily. "I'm so glad you're home now!! Look!!" she jumped off and stood up tall. "Look how big I am!!"

"Wow, Gray you're nearly as all as me there," I winked pulling her back in for a hug. "I love you sweetie"

"Love you too daddy" she giggled. "I have so much to tell you!! First mommy took me to get my hair cut and I went to the dentist and--"

"Why don't you tell me everything tomorrow kid, yeah? It's what, half 3 and daddys real tired from the flight, you must be tired!"

"Grandad says I'm a lively Haner!"

"And that you are! Right, sleep tight beautiful" I kissed her hard and cuddled her again. "Lovely to see you again baby"

"Night daddy! I love you lots like jelly tots"

"And I love you lots like vodka shots, but let's not use that one" I winked tucking her in. "Cya tomorrow Gray. Can't wait to here about everything!"

"Bye" she giggled.

I walked back into my room and got back into my warm, empty bed. When Renee came back from the bathroom, she contentiously rubbed her huge stomach.

"Everything alright?"

"Yeah" she sighed. "I just can't stop peeing"

"Hah," I said stroking her hair. "One more month. I still can't believe how big you are"

"Oi," she snapped scrunching her face up at me. "You've put weight on too"

"What?" I frowned. She rubbed my bare stomach and giggled, tucking herself back in bed.

"Night fatty" she laughed kissing me quickly.

"Yeah, yeah" I sighed cuddling up to her from behind. "Night"

"..and then the dentist said my teeth were perfect and she gave me a sticker but it had a car on it, and daddy, you know I don't like cars. Ooh!! And mommys new friend brings her little boy around and we play sometimes but I'm older than him so he doesn't know how to play things I like" Gracie rushed whilst eating her breakfast.

"Wow, pretty hectic time then?"

"Yeah!! And at school Mrs. Percy said that I was the best in the class at the maths test we did!!"

"Did she? Wow, go Grace. Alright, do you know you're times tables?"

"Yes!"

"What's 4 times 6?"

"Um.." she blushed. "Give me a minute" she counted upon her fingers and eventually got the answer. "Twentyyyyyyyyyy four?"

"Yeah it is, one more" I verified. In the corner of my eye I saw Renee slide some glasses up the bridge of her nose. It's the first time I'd ever seen her in them. The first time she hadn't worn contact lenses. But, shit..wow.

"Daddy?" Gray asked snapping me out of the stare. Ren giggled at me and carried on making me a coffee. "Uh, yeah, 5 times 7"

"Oh, come on daddy, that's like.. really easy" Gray laughed.

"Then it will be no problem"

".........35?"

"Good girl" I smiled, staring at Renee from behind. "Go get yourself dressed sweetie, I need to talk to mommy"

"Alright" she skipped away and Ren chuckled to herself.

"You wanna talk to me? Or, make out with me?"

"Both" I laughed. "You look..fuckin' hot"

"Thank you, but, don't get too used to it. I've lost my contacts"

"I'll make the most of it" I span her around and deeply kissed her.

"Mommy I can't find my Avenged Sevenfold tsh-- oh," she giggled as she saw us. "That's disgusting"

"So disgusting," Ren rolled her eyes and scooped her up. "It's in the wash basket sweetie, remember you got cake all over it yesterday. I think you're Iron Maiden one has just been ironed though?"

"Sure"
