I held Alicia on my chest, I felt her even breathing, so she finally fell asleep, but I could feel my shirt getting wet, she was crying, in her sleep.
Damn, I felt so guilty.
I couldn’t even describe how guilty I was.
I just hoped the kid really had an idea to get us out of here…

Could Johnny and the other figure out my small message? But I didn’t even know where we were…
It was hotel, but are we still in Huntington?
Are we still in LA?
I didn’t know.. how should they find us?!

I stood in the park near a lamp, so I could see if he was coming alone or not, if he wasn’t alone I wouldn’t let them see me, if he was I would talk to him.
I didn’t really know how this should work out, but I just had to help Matt and Alicia, they needed to be freed…

And as far away from Carl as possible… that my brother could get this in trouble, I knew.. but this was wrong, and I had to do something about it.

My hands in my pocket I walked into the light.
He turned towards me and began to walk again, I could see that it was Johnny.
“Are you.. the one who send us the message?” Johnny asked.
I nodded.
“Where are they? How can we help them? Tell me!” Johnny raised his voice and I motioned with my head that we should walk a little.
He nodded.
“Listen, I can’t just bring you to them.. the whole… thing could escalate, they have a gun. But I know where they are being held and I want to help you find them.” I told him in a whisper.
“Why would you do that? What do you want from us?” Johnny looked at me suspicious.
“I want nothing… I.. want nothing to do with it.. I was dragged into this mess and never wanted this to happen, believe me, that’s why I want to help.”
“Nothing?” Johnny asked again.
“Yes, I just want this Nightmare to be over. Listen, I will send you a message tomorrow, where we will meet again, bring 2 of your friends with you. From then I will tell you where the hotel is they are being held. We will go there together, I will try to figure out, when will be the best opportunity to let this take place without the other.. hmm.. Abductors to notice… But believe me we have to be careful… and you have to promise me something!”
Johnny nodded, “What?”
“No police… We will get them out of there… and after that you can do whatever you want but until then we will do this alone.”
“Fine. So you will leave us a message tomorrow and we will meet with you again and you will show us where they are.”
“Yes, right. I will try to inform Matt and Alicia what will happen, so they are prepared.”
“Are they… are they okay?” Johnny asked and finally the hard features on his face fell.
“Matt is doing fine… Alicia… also… but only barely.” I thought about the way Carl treated her and shook my head.
“Why does that mean?” Johnny looked concerned.
“Can’t tell you. Anyway.. I need to hurry, they are waiting for me. I will send you a note, be prepared.” With that I left him standing there and vanished into the dark of the park.
