you saved me

*Zack's POV*
Heading to download felt like nothing to the guys and me, we've played so may shows that we don't even get anxious anymore. Jessy turned all of that upside down, as she tends to do with everything in my life. It was something about her nervous chatting the whole ride, her awe filled blue eyes as we neared our destination, the look of pure joy she had as we told her the list of bands playing, she relit the fire under our asses.
By the time the bus pulled in we were all about to burst with excitment. Jimmy was the first to jump off the bus, followed by Johnny, Jessy, myself, Brian, then finally Matt. "I can't believe I'm actually here!" Jessy squealed as she jumped up and down. "C'mon Jess," I said as I grabbed her hand, "we have an interview."
*Jessy's POV*
Zack nearly drug me through the crowd of people. A few people greeted the guys but I continued to walk silently, to shocked to speak. Finally we reached a small area with six chairs, a petite blonds sitting in one, and some cameras. "You can stand over here baby, this is the closest we can be without you being on camera." Zack explained. I nodded and he let go of my hand and followed the rest of the guys. God I love him.
I watched as the interviewer greeted the guys. "Drinks?" She asked. They all nodded, "Jess you want a drink?" Jimmy shouted. I nodded silently, still unable to speak. A man appeared seamingly out of nowhere with siz beers. He gave a bottle to each of the guys before walking over and handing one to me.
"Thanks," I said as I poped open the bottle. I sipped my beer as I watched the interview play out. Standard questions at first, how do you feel about playing, tell us about the album, and so on and so fourth. Then something that caught my full attention.
"So Zack," the woman said, "I know you guys have a reputation of being players. A new girl every night for Avenged Sevenfold. Am I correct?" "I suppose you could say that most people think that." He replied warily. "Well," she continued, "I've noticed a ring on your finger and a young lady on your arm." I watched Zack's face turn bright red as his eyes widened with shock. "So my question is," she continued, "are you worried that this relationship will hurt the band." This isn't going to be good.....
*Zack's POV*
I felt my blood begin to boil at the womans ignorance. "Calm down Zack," Matt whispered, "remember, we're live." He was right, fans couldn't see me lose my temper like I was about to do. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before continueing.
"I have more faith in our fans than to stop listening to the band because I have a girlfriend." I said icily, "if there is someone out there that stops loving us or our music because of this, I believe I speak for all of us when I say, we don't want someone like that representing us by being a fan. I took great satisfaction in the shocked look on her face as all five of us stood and walked away.
"Who would have ever thought that little Zacky Baker would ever come up with such a badass comeback!" Matt shouted excitedly once we were away from the interview set. We all laughed for a few minutes as we continued to walk. Suddenly, Jessy stopped dead in her tracks. "What the fuck?" I said as I turned to find her staring at something.
The rest of the guys stopped too. "What are you staring at?" I asked. "Holy shit!" She said as she continued to stare. "Spit it out Jess!" Jimmy shouted jokingly. "C...Chris Jericho!" She nearly screamed. Making all of us laugh "Stay here," I instructed as I walked towards chris.
"Hey Chris!" I shouted as I neared him. "Hey Zack! I didn't know you guys were playing!" "Last minute addition," I explained, "anyway, what I came over here for. My girlfriend is standing over there staring at you in shock so I'm going to assume she's a fan. I was wondering if you'd be down to go talk to her." "Of corse I will!" He said with a grin. "Great!" I said as we headed towards Jessy.
*Jessy's POV*
"Chris, this is Jessy." Zack said as he wrapped is arm around me. "Nice to meet you Jessy," he said as he extended his hand. I continued to stsnd still, gapeing at him. "Jess," Zack coaxed me, "go on babe, he won't bite." "I love you and your music so much!" Poured out of my mouth like a river that a dam had been removed from before I darted forward and wrapped my arms around him.
He chuckled and returned the hug. After a few seconds more I broke away from him. "Hey you guys want to come back and drink with us some before showtime?" Chris asked. I looked at Zack like a small child looks at a parent for permission to do something. "I'm in if everyone else is in." Zack said. Everyone else nodded in aggreement. Zack wrapped his arm around me again and we all followed Chris to his band's bus.
