The guys finished their paperwork and handed the papers to Dan. "Jessy," he called after he collected the papers. I walked over and he motioned to the guys and I nodded. I instructed the guys to take their shoes and socks off then showed them how to bow onto the mat. "So we take this time before class to get warmed up some." I explained once we were on the mat.
Soon after, Dan came and restated everything I had previously said. Zack turned and cocked an eyebrow at me. "He does that alot." I said to his unasked question. Dan introduced everyone before sitting down to talk to some of the guys he was close to.
Johnny and Jimmy wondered over to the wall of pictures. They pointed to someone in ine of the pictures then turned back to call for the rest of the guys. The Zack, Matt and Brian walked over and I followed behind. "Is that Jessy?" I heard Johnny say as he pointed to a little blonde haired girl. "Yes," I said startling all five of them, "that's me when I was nine." "You were so cute," Matt said with a grin as he reached to pinch my cheek.
I slapped his hand away, "don't." Our little squabble was interrupted by Dan, "let's get class started." We all helped to get the five guys where the belonged in line, bowed in then warmed up.
"Partner up," Dan said, "each new studeent gets a higher rank to work with." I automatically turned and grabbed Zack by the shirt, "you're with me." I said as I drug him to an open spot on the mat. "We're going to work on defending from being choked," he said as he turned to look at me. He continued to explain the technique we'd be using and then set us free to work on it. Zack looked like he felt guilty. "Don't feel bad," I said as we continued to work, "he tends to treat me like a child." Zack nodded in understanding.
The rest of class flew by. When it was over we all gathered up our stuff. "So do you guys think you'll be back?" Dan asked the guys. "I'm sure I'll be back," Zack said with a grin, "Jessy probably won't give me a choice." I walked over and grabbed his hand, "no she won't." I said as we headed for the door.
