"Hey, whats wrong?" I asked my boyfriend as we sat at our favorite bar. He shook his head to dismiss my question. "Will, tell me," I said as i placed my hand over his. "Well," he bagan, "I'm....... well Jessy I'm leaving you." "What?" I whispered as he stood to leave. "FINE GODDAMMIT WILLIAM!" I shouted after him "LEAVE ME GODDA....." and with that he was gone. "Leave me," i whispered staring at the door.
I turned back to the bar to see an empty shot glass and a smiling bartender. "It's on the house hunny," she began to explain, "anything you want." "Do you have tequila rose?" I asked. "Sure do," she replied, i could hear the sympathy in her voice. I hate when people feel bad for me. I picked up the glass and stared at the beautiful pink liquid. "Memories" I whispered as I threw it back.
A flood of memories. My 21st birthday. Me, Will, a bottle pf rose and 2 shot glasses. "Can i buy the bottle?" I asked the bartender. "Sure, 10.50." She replied. I dug a 10 and two quarters out of my pocket and snatched the bottle. I pressed it to my lips and chugged half of it.
More memories. My 22nd birthday. A bottle of rose to myself. Will holding my hand as I got a deathbat tattoo on my lower back. Too much pain, I finished the bottle.
My 23rd birthday. Not even a week ago. No rose, but a pact not to drink anymore of it. Will had supported me. He ruined me.
