Jimmy's P.O.V

Today was the day I was going to meet Nora after all these months, I hope she is ok, I want to know her side of the story, if she would let me, if she still cared for matt maybe I could get them back together, they needed to talk and then they’d be fixed, I hope…the group hasn’t been the same since she left. I had just finished getting ready and was heading for the shower when my phone was going off and I was being bombarded by texts, one from Nora and two from short shit:

-Going to the strip club tonight, told it’s amazing and that their headliner is hot, we are all in; taxi will pick you and Brian up at 9-

And then...

-Dude why no reply?? Did you not get my last txt…don’t worry sent the details to Brian-

From Nora…

-Hey will be seeing u in a bit please remember it’s just the two of us ok Rev…love you c u later xx. N-

Aww she loves me ha-ha, im such a child. So that was my plans set, meeting with little red riding hood then going with short shit and others to a club. nice. I was ready and heading for the front door when I was rudely interrupted from my happy thought:

“Yo dude where you heading off to in such a rush?” It was Brian, shit, he knew me like the back of his hand, and he’d know if I was lying…stay cool Jim...
“Umm just popping out for a bit2 he looked at me and smirked.

“It’s that sexy blonde bird that occupied your lap all night isn’t’ it?” I might as well entertain him.

“Oh yeah you caught me” I winked and threw my hands in the air.

“I knew it, well have fun jimbo, see you later” And with that I left Brian to his dirty imagination, whilst I headed to the coffee shop to meet Nora.
I arrived and ordered a drink, I nervously sat on a table for two twiddling my thumbs, and I had so many questions needing answers swimming around my head. Why walk way? Was the argument that bad? Would you give it another shot? Are you a lesbian now? She would be a hot lesbian…any way moving on…

As I took another sip of my coffee, I saw a petite red head walk through the café doors, it was Nora. She looked the same, her hair plaited to the side, looked a bit longer since last time, but it has been a couple of months, she wore a black vest with a khaki vest. She wore aviators, or to be exact matt’s aviators, but I don’t think she knows, yes they look like hers but his lenses are plain black, hers are tinted green, god why im paying so much attention to her sunglasses, im nervous, eeek. I stared at her just watching her searching for me, she then takes her glasses off and its then her green eyes connect with my blue eyes and she smiles, and I see her shoulders relax, I guess she is as nervous.

She makes her way over to me, and I notice the smile growing on her lips, I stand up to greet her and she wraps her arms around my chest and holds me close “Hi”
“Oh jimmy I’ve missed you!” she looks up at me and I see tears gather in her eyes.
“Why are you crying little one? No-one cries around jimmy, I forbid it” I wink at her and she chuckles before pulling away and sitting down.

“So how is everyone, I feel horrid for ignoring you all and being so distant” she looked down at her coffee, so I grabbed her hands and held them before continuing.

“Well as long as you’re safe, that’s all that matters” she smiled.

“so where do we start, Zacky and Alex are living together and we all have a bet to see how long it will take for her to get knocked up” Nora shook her head and laughed “Not on my fucking watch!”

“Umm ok mamma bear calm your tits!” she laughed and drank more of her coffee.
“Short shit got a Mrs yet?”

“Short shit and Mrs, umm are you kidding me, no!” ha she laughed so hard, was nice to see her smile.

“Brian? How’s baby Haner?” ahh shit, should I be honest? If I honest I could say how he hasn’t seen Nikki in about a month, she’s in some motel somewhere and he has been with me for that time period, he’s too drunk half the time to go home, he hasn’t had contact with Nikki since she accused him of sleeping with Nora after something about matt walking in his house searching for Nora, since then he hasn’t been home and neither has she, I guess that was the night Nora and matt split, seems logical doesn’t it? Should I say how him and matt don’t talk, that every studio session tension can be cut with a knife, and the rest of us are sat there with no clue what is going on? Matt is screwed up at the moment, but so is Brian, he even said to me he wonders some nights if Nikki is even carrying his child, it hurts to hear him say that, if it were true, it would crush him.

“Brian, umm he’s fine, him and Nikki are on a rocky patch but all in all he is excited about baby Haner “she smiled “Glad to hear it, nice to hear someone will love him unconditionally, that child is going to be very lucky to have him” I saw her eyes light up, did they always do that when she spoke about Brian?

“And matt?” she said quietly, I had been waiting for this the moment she stepped in here.

“Want the truth?” she nodded “He is broken…whatever went on between you two has broken him, he hasn’t been the same, and I can tell it’s the same with you hence the time we bumped into each other at the store and you were cold towards me, he has isolated himself and you have too” She ripped her hands away from me and her eyes went dark, did I say something wrong? “Im fine jimmy, don’t start thinking you know everything about this, because you don’t” what the hell? “Im not Nora…im sorry if I touched a sensitive subject”.

“This…entire…thing…is..” her head lowered and I saw a couple tears fall from her cheeks and hit the table “ do you want to tell me what happened, I don’t know anything, to be fair none of us do, since you two ended, matt’s been by himself the majority of the time, please tell me what happened, he is lost without you, I think you are too…”

“He hit me…”I heard a faintly, wait what?

“He what?” I leaned forward and she looked me dead in the eyes “You heard me”….”Matt hit you? What the fuck im gonna kill him!!”

“Jimmy he slapped me because I met with Brian, me and Brian kissed, and he saw, so he went home and got drunk and we both got angry and one thing led to another...” I leaned back not being able to concentrate on anything but the fact that matt laid a hand on Nora.

"That's still no excuse Red"..she put head in her hands “Why’d you kiss, do you still hold feelings for Bri?” I looked at her and watched her bit her bottom lip.

“I do, I probably always will, but I met Brian to talk to him about us to say we had to forget about as I love matt”

“And the kiss?”

“To say goodbye, and it kind of just happened, but I never knew matt was watching…I feel sick...” she did suddenly look pale “Do you want me to get you some water red?” she smiled “Nah im a big girl I can handle it”.

“So you love matt?” fingers crossed she wouldn’t change her statement “Yes” oh thank god there is hope “But I can’t go near him again, not now, im to afraid, and plus I’ve just got my life on track, a new job and im enjoying life, why would I want to bring all the negativity back” and the hope was gone, she was stubborn, just like him, but unlike her he would jump at anything for the chance to talk to her, just to be in the same room as her.

“Well on a positive note, its Zacky’s birthday tomorrow night, we are starting at Johnny’s, I know he would love to see you, we all would, would you consider coming along, for old time sake?”

“Jimbo I have work tomorrow, and then there’s matt, and Brian, it will be incredibly awkward” I gave her puppy dog eyes “Please, or come afterwards, just please, stick by me or Alex and it will be ok, please red?” She grabbed hold of my hands and smiled “I’ll think about it, okay?” I nodded “Okay”.

“Right I must be off, got to go shopping then head off to work” she stood up and so did I she kissed me on the cheek “See you tomorrow Nora” she looked up at me and smiled “Maybe Jim, maybe” I walked her out of the café and safely to her car, I then stood there and watched her drive off, god I hoped she would meet tomorrow, but before that I wanted to get something off of my chest, preferably at matt.
