Matt’s P.O.V

Zacky and I left the girls to get ready. Since the party I couldn’t stop thinking about Nora, I also couldn’t stop thinking about her and Brian. I wasn’t a fool; I could smell him on her when I was with her. I knew he cared for, probably in the same way, as I was crazy about her and we all knew Brian was as well. No one mentioned everything and as much as Nora didn’t want to highlight this, it was obvious; nothing was ever said as we were all scared of the outcome if someone did. Brian knew my feelings for Nora, and vice versa. As much as I loved Nora, Brian was like a brother, and I didn’t want to ruin that. The fact that we both wanted Nora was like an elephant in the room, but she was naive and thought she was the only one who knew and saw this.

We went back to mine, and for lads getting ready were always very quick, unlike the girls who we knew would take ages to pick out a bikini, and then what flip flops, bag, sunglasses etc. I just chucked on black board shorts and a motley crew sleeveless vest and wore my infamous aviator’s, Zacky pretty much looked the same but his board shorts were black and red. I texted the other lads to give them a heads up and instructions to head to the beach, they had all replied and were doing so except Brian. His reply had not come through yet, typical Syn. Sometimes when he did this we knew the slightest thing we could say or do would set him off. Brian was like a fucking ticking time bomb at times like these, it was like being around a woman on her period! No offense to the ladies…

We hopped into my SUV and head to the beach, Zacky insisted on driving as he belted it out the door and called shotgun. Bless him. If he shot gunned the driving role, I shot gunned control of the music. Slayer blasted out the speakers as we sped down the highway. We reached the beach and saw Jimmy and Johnny had arrived before us and nabbed our usual spot and got everything set up. “Well don’t we have you trained” I laughed as I plonked my ass in a deck chair next to jimmy, he eventually caught on to what I said when Zacky had chucked us all a beer out of the cooler “Hey...we aren’t no-one’s bitch, well maybe Johnny is but..” Johnny just shook his head a flipped him off. “Anyone heard anything from the girls?” they weren’t here so guessing they were still getting ready.

“Why don’t you ask them yourself” I turned around and there stood the girls. All of us just stared, our jaws on the floor and speechless. We’d all be lying if we have never imagined them in their underwear or even naked. Come on we were lads, single horny lads, and these girls were stunning. As much as I stared at Nora, Alex wasn’t too bad either. They were both the perfect mix of ass and bust, just Alex was a bit taller. Nora wore a plain black bikini with gold beading on the straps of the bikini top and some were on her small, very small bikini bottoms, whereas Alex wore a bikini with a variety of colours from pink, orange and green, it was also striped in some places, and like Nora, her bottoms were small. I looked at Zacky, whose eyes were locked onto Alex’s body.

“Well hello to you too boys, we’re doing great, thanks for asking” Nora said sarcastically. Still nothing was said, we still were in awe of the girls, and they were stunning, “HEY PACK IT IN WE AINT PIECES OF MEAT!” Alex bellowed as she snatched Zacky’s beer out of his hand, then smiled and went to sit next to Jimmy. “That’s us told!” laughed Jimmy as he cheered with Alex. I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was Nora, “Where’s Bri?” Yeah I was wondering that myself, I texted brain ages a go and still no reply, “I’ve texted him, but I have had no reply, normally when he doesn’t reply it’s because he’s in a mood”.

“Perfect!” She said sarcastically, I loved it when she was like that; it was amusing, unless you were the person she was aiming it at. I laughed and put my arm round her and we walked over to the guys and sat down with each-other on the sand, drinking cider and socializing. I heard my phone beep, I looked at the screen and saw a message from Brian.

-On my way, sorry I didn’t reply earlier, do u mind if I bring a friend?

He was on his way, what was I gonna do be a prick and say no, god he always did this sought of thing, I bet it’s that girl he’d been texting 247 before the album release party, I think he said her name was Nikki. I don’t know how or where they met; I just know he couldn’t keep away from his phone for days. None of us had met her yet, we were curious to though, but we knew Brian and we knew that she wouldn’t be around long; no girl ever was with Brian.

-Okay yeah sure, more the merrier-

I put my phone down, and turned to talk to Nora, but she was gone, they all were, they left me sat here like a loner as I saw them in the water. Nora was on Jimmy’s shoulders, they were trying to run away from Johnny, Zacky and Alex. Nora fell from Jimmy’s shoulders and crashed into a wave as the wave knocked Jimmy over. It was quite an amusing sight. I decided to go join them, so took my top off and chucked it into the deck chair and ran to the sea.

As hit the waves, I was jumped and land with my back on the shallows. Nora had jumped me and now was lying on my chest with her arms around my neck. I smiled and so did she, her smile was beautiful, it was addictive but I had to keep it together, for myself, for Brian, for Nora. “Hey there little mermaid” She blushed. I kissed her forehead before Johnny pulled her up and put her on his shoulders and went head to head with Zacky and Alex, I teamed up with Jimmy and we all went for it. Johnny and Nora were the first to fall, when they crashed into the waves it was hilarious until we couldn’t find Nora. Panic set in as we didn’t find her anywhere, we were all searching the water, shouting and screaming her name. “NORA?!” I was panicking now, where was she?! “NORA!!!”.
