~Jimmy’s P.O.V.~

I was just laying here in bed. Staring at the ceiling. Like usual. Just. Existing. You know?
Like, I’m alive and breathing, but… Not living. I was bored as FUCK. But I didn’t feel like getting up or doing anything, and for that, I shall lay here and do nothing.

To be honest, it’s not that I’m lazy, it’s because I’m moping. Yeah, I said it. Moping. I will admit it. I am pouting. I’m a HUGE pouter. Always have been. And why am I pouting? ‘Cause I fucking miss the girls. OF COURSE. Why else would I be pouting?! …Well, there’s actually a number of reasons why I would be pouting, but let’s just settle for that one reason, okay? Fuck.

But yeah, I miss them. I text Serenity sometimes, but it just isn’t enough. Dear Lord knows it’s not enough. I need her here! Like, seriously! I think I’m going crazy!
And Evelyn?! I NEED SOMEONE TO WATCH PRINCESS MOVIES WITH. There is absolutely NO ONE willing to watch Disney movies with me unless they’re really, REALLY drunk, and it is getting me so angry!

Those are just some of the reasons why I’m just laying here, wasting away. I’ve been so apprehensive knowing that they’re both so close, but so far away. I want so badly to go and see them, but I know that they need their time alone together, so I do all that I can to keep from bothering them.

“Ugh, I’m going so CRAZY,” I scream to myself.
My phone made its weird little twinkling noise when it gets a text and I jump thinking that it’s Serenity, but to my dismay it’s just one of my exes. Leanna.

She’s been trying to get my attention so much lately and it was really getting me pissed off. You see, when we broke up, it wasn’t because we didn’t care about each other, or because one of us screwed over the other. It was because I wanted to move forward with our relationship in a way that she didn’t agree with. I wanted kids, and I wanted to raise a family, but I don’t really believe or agree with marriage. Leanna, on the other hand, completely disagreed. That wasn’t how things were supposed to be. It turned out to be this big thing between us and we just decided, mutually of course, that maybe this wasn’t for us.

Leanna has really been wanting to talk to me though. I don’t know what for, but that was just it. I caught wind that she had gotten herself a boyfriend and that they were now living together and doing great with each other, which… was odd. Mostly because when she and I were dating, she didn’t necessarily appreciate it when other people got nosey and were all in our business. Nonetheless, I’m happy for her. She really is a great girl, and she deserves the best.

I decided, after a good while, that I should probably read her text. Maybe she had something important to tell me for once as opposed to the usual attempt to small talk.

So I was thinking… Maybe we should catch up properly for once? Lunch?:) –Lee

Okaaay. On? –Lee
On whether or not a can bring somebody with. Duh! –Sir Jimmy

Awkward… I hate waiting for text messages. It’s like time slows down specifically for them.
Uhm. Okay, sure. I can bring Michael with me so you two can finally meet, I guess. –Lee

Just as I was about to type a response, my phone started to fuckin’ spazz out! The screen started flashing Serenity’s name and I freaked out so hard my phone fell from my hands.
“Son of a mother fucking bitch,” I yelled before snatching the phone and answering. “Hellooooooo?”
Serenity cleared her throat before answering me bashfully, “Hi Jimmy. I hope I’m not bothering you.”
“What,” I said excitedly into the phone. “Giiiiiirrrrl, you cray! Of course you aren’t bothering me!”

Serenity laughed on the other line. Oh man, I fucking missed that beautiful sound. “Okay good,” she chuckled. “I was, uh, wondering if maybe I could see you today.”

If this were a fucking cartoon, I swear to God my heart would have leapt out of my chest and bounced around the room and off the walls.
“U-uh, yeah,” I stammered, starting to blush like crazy. “It’s, uh, funny you should mention that, cause an old friend of mine asked if I’d like to have lunch with her and I was wondering if you and Evie would maybe want to tag along.”

“Oh…” Serenity said quietly. “No, Jimmy. It’s okay. I don’t want to be a bother to y-“
“No,” I yelled, cutting her off. “No! No, no, no. It’s not like that, hun. I’m going to catch up with her and meet her boyfriend. All that jazz. Nothing special. Besides, I’ve kinda been dying to see you again anyway. Maybe you, me and Lyn-Lyn can catch a movie or something afterward?”

“Uh, are you sure Jim Jam,” Serenity asked, sounding unsure of herself. “I really don’t want to be a bother…”
“Baby, you’d never be,” I said softly. Goddamn I’m fucking SMOOTH!

Serenity giggled before answering me. “Okay then,” she said. “Why don’t you come over right now? Evie is already dressed and whatnot. You can chill with her while you wait for me. I look a mess right now and I need to take my time. Haha!”

“Pfft,” I scoffed, slipping into my favorite jeans and looking for a clean t-shirt. “Quit fucking around! You’re fucking sexy!” Ugh, I’m on a roll!
“Hahaha! Oh my gosh,” Serenity laughed out loud. Oh yeah, I definitely know how to get her going. “Shut the fuck up and get over here already.”
“Oh I will girl,” I laughed. “No need to ask me twice!”
“Jimmy,” she whined. “Quit being so damn lewd!”

“Mommy, what’s a lood,” a tiny voice asked in the background. My heart skipped a beat at the sound of Evelyn’s beautiful little voice… I told you I missed them.
“Nothing love. It’s nothing,” Serenity laughed. “Anyway, just come over okay? We miss you…”
“I’m already out the door baby,” I said with no care in the world about how it might sound to her.
I need to see my girls…!
