It looks like we’re headed back to Europe for a part two of our tour. Would you reconsider playing the drums for us? Brian and Michelle returned from their wedding and now have baby fever. Diana we need to talk. I love you so much but I met someone and I think I want to date her. Please don’t be mad.

That’s great news! I told you I wanted you to meet other people and date. We aren’t a couple anymore so you are free to do whatever you please. What is her name? You must tell me. And Brian as a dad and having the first Avenged baby? I don’t think so! Johnny and Lacey have a better chance. And I think I will once again decline the offer of drummer, no one can fill my brother’s shoes.

Her name is Gena and I met her at the wedding which I didn’t see you at. Brian said you attended but I was upset you didn’t come see me. Well it looks like Michelle is being vain again about her body and doesn’t want a baby anymore. So Matt is wanting to write a new album soon and wants you to put at least one song on the album.

I told you the music doesn’t come to me anymore. I can’t write anything. I haven’t picked up an instrument in a year. Good luck with Gena.

Diana stopped writing Zacky for months but he always wrote her. How he was falling in love, how the tour is, how the new album is coming along so far. Then the wedding announcement came. Within months of dating they were engaged to be married. Even though Diana told Zacky to date and fall in love she didn’t think he would, and not so fast either. She circled ‘No’ on the RSVP and sent the letter out. She didn’t receive a call or a letter asking why or asking her to change her mind. She didn’t send him letters. It would be over a year later and a full passport that Diana received her first letter from him again.

It has been a while hasn’t it? A lot has happened this past year. The tour ended on a good note and we went back to the studio even though it’s been hard without Jimmy’s help and direction. I hope you are well and maybe you could come see us soon. Did Matt tell you the news? Valarie is pregnant! She’s hoping for a girl but you know Matt wants a little monster like him. Well I hope you respond.

It has been a while since we last talked. Tell Val and Matt congrats! Either way they will be such good parents. How far along is she? Jimmy would be proud that you guys are writing again and we know you guys can do this. How are you and Gena? Baby plans coming up soon?

Valarie is half way through her pregnancy and she’s so happy. They decided the name now that they found out it’s a boy, River. The guys and I want you to write a song for the album. We don’t want an album without Sullivan influence. Just one song please Di? And as for Gena and I…well we broke up and she filed divorce. It was fun while it lasted but I guess it wasn’t what I wanted in the end.

I’m so sorry to hear about your divorce and if there’s anything I can do let me know. River hmm? I know Matt has always loved River Phoenix so maybe that’s where he got it from. As for writing the song, you know I can’t. There isn’t anything in my heart or head that could fathom music. I’m sorry I let the band down again.

Diana sat the last letter down on the table and sighed. True, she came out here only temporarily but she now realizes how far from herself she really was. It wasn’t just finding the music it was finding herself and what she wanted out of life and these years abroad and traveling have helped her so much. Diana glanced across the room at the baby grand piano and forced herself up and over to it and sat down. She ran her fingers over the keys before trying to play an old tune. She found herself smiling at the sound it made. In all the years overseas not once had she tried to actually play anything. She decided to write, not only for herself, but for Jimmy, and the future reunion of the old gang.
