~Brian's POV~

Jess and I finally came back from the hospital and luckily, there wasn't any permanent damage to her. The only damage was mentally. The doctor said that it could be a while before she returns back to her old self, and that broke my heart. Yeah Jess and I screw around, but I still deeply care for her, she's been my best friend for a long time. And if that means no sex, than so be it. I would do anything for her.

"So, if you need anything, just call me and I'll come right on over." I awkwardly said.

"Don't leave Brian. I just need you here to comfort me." I smiled and lead her to her shower so that she could wash off all the dirt and mud from her
body.

"Get in the shower, I'll get you some clothes." I kissed her head. "And I'll be right here. I just have to call Chelle." Saying Chelle's name brought a frown upon her face as she turned around and got in the shower.

With a sigh, I exited her room and walked out to the patio to call my girlfriend. Slowly, I pulled my phone out and called her. After a few rings, I heard someone pick up the phone.

"Yeah?" It was a mans voice. Anger was already raging through my veins with each breath.

"Who the fuck is this?!" I spat though gritted teeth.

"This is Kenny. Who the fuck are you?" The man called Kenny said angrily.

"This is Michelle's fucking boyfriend. What the fuck are you doing with her phone?!" Even though Chelle and I are
going through a rough patch, that doesn't give her the right to cheat on me. Okay, yeah I cheated on her too, but what she doesn't know won't hurt her.

"Uhh...she never mentioned a boyfriend and that probably explains why there's guy stuff all over this place." From his voice, I could tell her was highly intoxicated and that meant Michelle was drunk too. "This is a pretty sick house man. What do you do?"

"You're in my fucking house?!"

"Oh shit, sorry dude. Do you still want to talk to...Megan?"

"No, I don't want to talk to Michelle. In fact, tell her that Brian said to get the fuck out if my house and to take her shit with her." Saying those last words, I hung up and stomped back into Jess's place, making my way to the fridge to get a beer.

God, this night couldn't have gotten any worse.

"Brian?" That sweet voice filled my ears. Putting the beer down, I ran to her room. Jess stood there, with only one of my t-shirts hanging loosely on her body. "I'm going to go to sleep. Goodnight."

"Night Jess. Love you." I kissed her head and I turned so that I could exit the room.

"Wait! Can you stay with me? I don't want to be alone." I smiled and gladly took my pants off, leaving me only in my boxers. I claimed into her bed and pulled her close to my body, never wanting to let go.

"Goodnight Jess. I love you."

"Goodnight Brian. I love you too."
