I Lost Me Long Ago

The guys and I made our way back to our room, Jimmy and Johnny immediately went back to fighting over who knows what this time. I sat down on the sofa and Zacky placed himself next to me. Syn went to a corner picking away at his guitar. He’d been having a bit of trouble with the new song he was writing, and it was really beginning to eat away at him.

”Poor thing hope she brought a change of clothes.” Zack was mumbling on about something as he swiped on his phone screen.

”What’s that?” I heard what he said, I just wasn't sure who "poor thing" was, or why they needed a change of clothes.

”Carsea… You know the girl who just did our interview.” He smirked a little as he gave a small laugh.

”I remember her, and her name. Why does she need a change of clothes?” It seemed like something stupid was about to come out of his mouth. Chances were he was going to make a joke about rocking her clothes off- not that I wouldn't normally find the comments funny, hell I would make them myself, normally. She just seemed… So wounded to me. Didn't see like a good thing to joke about. Not that she could hear it.

”They're calling for rain. And this is an outdoor arena.”

”For the most part. I gave her a pass. If it rains she can always come back.” I shrugged.

”She was cute, huh?” I just nodded, it wouldn't be the first time Zack and I had liked the same girl. Course then we were only in high school, but its only been a few years since then. I've pretty much tried to stay away from girls he liked since. I don't want the drama.

Jimmy and Johnny had finally stopped fighting and both separated away from one another to get a little warm up in before the set. Jimmy was banging away on the coffee table in front of him and Johnny was in the furthest corner from him on a stool with his bass.

”So why were you so quiet during the interview?” I glanced over at him and gave him a look.

”Just been thinking about this song I was writing.” It was a total lie. Even though I was pretty sure he would know it I left it at that.

“Writer’s block?” He was questioning my answer, but he wasn't going to pry too much.

“More or less.” But he shrugged and got up.

“Gonna warm up. Don't stress the song. You got time before we need it.” He smirked and made his way to his guitar case.

A little alone time, just what I needed. With the set coming up I needed my mind on that, not some cute girl. Though Carsea defiantly seems like more than just some girl.

Time to clear my head.

I haven't 100% figured out where I am going with this. I have a few ideas in my head and I really want to keep away from the most predictable ideas.

Its obvious Matt and Zacky have a little thing for her. But I think I have a few hidden gems up my sleeve. Or so I hope. :D
