Betrayed

Days later Matt told me that I would be going to babies r us and purchase some things for the thing growing in me.
"Matt cant you just go and buy a bunch of black crap, because I honestly don't care much."
He glared at me and yelled "You will go and you will pick out some nice things."
I rolled my eyes and walked to the stair yelling back.
"Fine at least Gates is remotely attractive!"
When I reached the front door Zacky and Gates were both waiting, Gates had on some sunglasses, a fedora, and a smirk. Zacky just shook his head mumbling some thing about testing the waters.
Matt wasn’t going to let me get the last word that was for sure.
"Yeah well maybe I'll let him fuck you a few times since you like him so much!"
I scoffed at his reply and couldn’t hold back.
"Go ahead he won't have to force himself on me!"
Matt walked down the stairs slowly and stopped in front of me, he stood as tall as he could and looked down at me. I was already a few inches shorter on a regular day so him standing straight up was a bit intimidating.
"Don't push your luck Aurora."
Zacky's hand wrapped around my arm pulling me away from matt I was pregnant with Matt's offspring and he would not hurt me because it would hurt it.
"What are you going to do about it, you know this is okay it gives me time alone with gates we can talk about that kiss we shared you know the one Matt you smelled him all over me?"
Gates stepped away to the side and pulled Zacky with him.
"I'm not scared of you Matthew; you can't hurt me without hurting this"
I pointed at my growing belly. Matt laughed and ran a hand through his hair, he turned and stared at Zacky and gates who were just about cowering away then he turned to walk away. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t grinning like a psycho. After a single step, he turned back around with a fist flying my way. It all happened so fast I wouldn’t have time to duck so I was going to take the blow right to the head.
I waited thinking it was taking so long because I was scared or something, that is until I heard matt talk.
"Get your fucking hands off of me Christ."
I opened my eyes and saw the back of Jonny's head. I leaned over being nosey and saw that Johnny had caught Matt's fist as one catches a baseball with a mitt.
"Rory, go to the car I'll be accompanying you."
Johnny had spoken very little to me but he never did it in a helping way. I walked out the front door and walked to the driveway to wait. I had no idea what car to get in to or if Matt still wanted me to go.
Gates and Zacky walked out with serious looks on their faces, Gates just shook his head at me.
"Let's get something straight kid keep me off of you mind and don't bring me up in arguments with Matt actually don't even say my name around him okay?"
I rolled my eyes "whatever."
Johnny walked out the front door pulling a Leather jacket on followed by some sunglasses. He stepped up to an s.u.v and opened the back door.
"Get in."
I climbed in and scooted over a bit, when he got inn he leaned over and buckled my seatbelt. Gates and Zacky both climbed in the front and we started to drive. As we drove, Gates kept looking over at Johnny. I looked him over and wondered if Matt had hurt him once I walked out.
"Johnny, are you okay why did you help me?"
He looked over at me and showed me his hands.
"I'm fine, and it's not your business."
I just nodded, he helped and that was a huge difference in his personality. Johnny never really liked me so yeah it was a surprise.
At the baby store, all three guys kept their distance but I'm sure I was never out of their sight. I walked around keeping my hands to my sides everything was so adorable but inside I was torn I wanted to hate the baby but at the same time it was something I shared with Matt some-thing that could be so sweet. The thought of Matt playing with a tiny baby brought a smile to my face. Before I knew it my fingers were wrapped around a soft baby blanket that was hanging over a crib.
"I think shed prefer a yellow blanket, brown and pink is common."
A tattooed covered hand pulled the blanket away from me. Johnny scoffed and tossed the blanket back in the crib, he nodded over to a white crib with yellow bedding.
"This is more like it what do you think?"
He had a small smirk on his face as he picked up the blanket. I nodded as I felt the soft material Matt would like it not pink and no black.
"Yeah I like it."
Zacky walked over "this one, crib and all?"
I nodded and Johnny shook his head "just the bedding."
I raised an eyebrow matt would be expecting a crib for the baby to sleep in. I wonder what Matt was doing back home, could he be angry still?
Gates and Zacky walked around with a cart just tossing random things they liked in it, I smiled as Zacky argued about breast pumps with gates Johnny was walking around he had a stuffed elephant in his hand it was cute. I sat on a rocking chair and closed my eyes thinking about the baby and myself maybe I needed therapy.
Johnny walked me out to the car while Zacky and Gates paid for everything. Once we were in the car Johnny buckled me in and cracked his neck.
"before all this when I was just a normal guy I worked as a carpenter, I wanted to be a doctor but my family was lacking the financial means to pay for a respectable collage so I worked with my uncle as a carpenter to help with the bills. Girls in those days didn’t date guys like me, you see the parents always matched every one up. There was this girl whose parents were so generous I always made sure to have their orders finished on time. The girl Alex she was gorgeous I mean she took my breath away and I actually needed to breathe in those days. He parents on day said that my work was so good that they would love me to marry Alex. Well long story short we stated to sneak around, she was my first and I was hers. I would day dream when I was at work about her and I together, you know I always thought that she'd get pregnant so I could build a crib for her."
He looked lost in his past I could hear the pain in his voice when he mentioned her name.
"Is that why you didn’t want us to get a crib today It reminded you of her?" I asked.
Johnny turned to me with tears in his eyes, "you are one of the dumbest chicks I know"
He leaned back and sighed, "You didn’t buy one because I will be making it for you."
I nodded and smiled "are you guys all sweet and fuzzy on the inside?"
"No some of us like Zacky are fuzzy on the outside."
I laughed as Zacky and Gates put everything in the back and got in.
"Are we interrupting anything?" asked Zacky
I shook my head and peered out the window as Gates drove us back.

I like Johnny as a carpenter I think he'd do great.
