I was in my kitchen, getting new beers when I heard someone walking in. I turned around and saw Lynn there, looking for something. “Oh, Hi, could please tell me where your bathroom is?”. Izzie’s POV
After Elisabeth told me the Zacky story I was stunned. That bright green eyes of his seemed so friendly, how could he be such a jackass? Matt and Johnny were in the pool, Zack was sitting on the edge, with his feet in the water. I took of my shoes and sat next to him. Matt swam towards us immediately. “Sooo, the great Izzie honoured us with a visit.” I smiled at him, trying not to stare. “Yeah, I want to get to know you guys, as you 5 and Brian seemed to be joined at the hip” I looked around, where was Brian anyway? Haven’t seen him in a while now.

“So Izzie, can I say Izzie?” I nodded “Which one of us you like best?” Johnny asked. I laughed hard. Johnny was funny. “Lizzie, always, us girls got to stick together!” I had a big grin on my face and I glanced at Zacky. He got even more quiet, what is up with him?! “You are no fun” Johnny said, fake pouting, just before he dove under. “So tell me, me being a girl and all, and I want to know these things, how is the status of you and girls in your life?” Matt smiled at me widely. “I’m completely unattached, but I’m willing to change that for the right person” Johnny coughed “bullshit”. I laughed. “You Johnny?” Johnny got a little smile on his face. Definitely something going on there. “I was kinda seeing this girl before we went on tour. I might look her up one of these days, see if she waited for me” he got a little shy. Matt howled “Woohoo Johnny, when are we going to meet her?” Johnny got out of the pool “Not any time soon Shadz, we all know what you do with innocent girls” flipping him off. I looked at Zacky “And you green eyes? Anyone special in your life?” Zacky looked at me as if I slapped him “No not really” he mumbled. Matt spoke again “Z is just a free agent, just as I am, and Brian. The only ones here trying relationships are Johnny and Arin. Johnny’s normally don’t really take long. Arin is a whole different story. How that guy survives this world is a mystery to me. He is just too fucking sweet. I think he has a girl now, but with him being the new guy and all, he’s not taking her with him yet. Also because we are all single here, if she sees one of us, she will dump the poor guy” He grinned. “Wow Matt, is there even enough room in that pool for you and your ego?” I said. Zacky chuckled “Ha Shadz, she sees right through you, and she just met you. I’m going to grab a beer, anyone else wants one too?” I nodded and so did Matt.

We were alone. Not really what I planned, the whole purpose of me sitting here was to talk to Zacky, but he didn’t say much. And now I was alone with Matt, who was leaning on the edge of the pool, next to where I was sitting. He moved. His arms accidently touched my leg. My leg suddenly filled with goosebumps, just from that slight touch. What the hell was happening to me? Matt looked at me and I just stared back. I didn’t know what to do, my head filled with thoughts. I could just kiss him, what would he taste like? Izzie, snap out of it! Where is Lynn? She needs to save me from Matt, before I could do anything stupid. I absently moved my hand from my leg, softly going over his arm. I got distracted by a growl coming from the house. I looked at the door, Brian came running outside, Zacky on his back. Brain ran straight for the pool, not even paying attention to me sitting there. He tripped over me, dove into the pool, Zacky right behind him. His foot kicked my head and I just fell sideward. Before my head hit the edge of the pool, two big soft hands catch me. I needed to close my eyes a little. “Izzie, don’t close your eyes, stay awake, you might have a concussion” I knew that deep voice, softly talking to me. I was starting to close my eyes again, as my hand reached out to feel the face of the one that saved me. I cupped the cheek of the voice that was talking to me “Thanks for saving me”. I felt the soft hands move my hair out of my face. I heard Brian’s voice “Matt! What have I told you?! Stay away from Izzie!” I heard Matt speak calmly “Get your head out of your ass Gates, Z hit her in the head when you two were running for the pool. She fell down, I catched her before her head hit the edge of the pool. She could have a concussion” It was really busy around me all of a sudden, a lot of voices talking to me. “Izzie, baby, can you sit up please?” I heard Brian ask me. “No, I’m good like this. Matt’s hands are really soft” I heard Johnny “What, are you a woman? Men don’t have soft hands” Matt groaned something at him. “Izzie, we need to move you to a chair, you can’t stay here like this” Brian again. Before I knew what happened I got picked up and I felt my clothes get all wet. These strong arms weren’t Brian’s, this was another wet body against mine. I recognised the tattoo on his chest. How did I end up in Matt’s arms? He put me in a chair and let go of me. I felt chills down my body. “Please don’t let go” I whispered. I got moved in the chair and Matt was next to me again, I wanted to close my eyes so bad. Just before I couldn’t hold it anymore I looked up, Brian stood there, looking worried, next to him was Lynn. Too close to Brian, too red in her face to be only from the sun. “Please tell me you didn’t!?” I whispered, just before my eyes fell shut.
