Our Secret Is What You Are
I woke up with the sun shining in my face. I turned over and seen a note attached to the pillow.
Aerial,
The guys and I went out to get some food for all of us so we'll be back in just a few minutes. We need to talk to you later.
Shadows
Talk to me? About what? I thought to myself. I pulled myself out of bed and went into the hallway to the bathroom. I brushed my hair and teeth. I stopped and looked at my teeth. They had grown in a weird shape. What the hell was going on? I walked down stairs and into the kitchen and sat there waiting on them to get back. I looked at the scars my father put on my arm. I just want to know why a father would do something like that to his own flesh and blood? I was brought out of my thoughts with the sound of someone coming through the door. I stayed where I was until I felt a hand touch my shoulder and I immediately tensed up.
"Hey it's okay." I turned to see the Rev. He sat a Mickey D's bag of food down in front of me and I gladly took it. He sat down beside me and just stared at me the whole time I ate. I wanted so bad to ask him what he was staring at but I'm not ready to talk at the moment.
"You know...you can talk to me." he said and I nodded.
"Why do you chose not too though? We aren't going to judge you." I shrugged my shoulders. I really don't know what I should do. I know Shadows is going to want me to talk when he discusses whatever it is to me. I shouldn't be afraid to talk.
"Shadows will be up in his office until later tonight when he wants to talk. He told me just to tell you that you can do whatever you want." he said getting up.
"Rev?" I said. He turned and looked at me.
"Do you know what he wants to talk to me about?" I asked.
"He doesn't want me to discuss that with you. He'll tell you later." He walked out of the room leaving me by myself. I got up and decided to wash the dishes and figure out where everything goes. When that was all finished I went into the living room and watched The Rev and some other short guy playing a game.
"So who are you guys?" I asked and the short man looked at me shocked.
"What? Never heard someone talk before?" I asked.
"No it's just you've been so quiet for so long. What made you decide to talk?"
"I don't know. A Reverend gave me some good advice." I said smiling. I heard a door open and shadows and 2 others stood at the top of the stairs.
"It's time you guys. Come to my office, you too Aerial." I stood up with Rev and the other short man. I'll call him Short shit for the time being. We walked up the stairs and into Shadows office. He had me sit down in a chair while he whispered something to the others. The 4 men went through a door keeping it cracked and I started to get an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Shadow sat down on the corner of his desk.
"Aerial, the reason you are here is because of something your father has never told you and the reason behind us killing him."
"I thought you said the reason for killing him was money?" I said and he looked at me shocked.
"Anyways, your father didn't owe us any money. That was just an excuse. The real reason is because he has hidden something from you. I'm guessing you can sense my dominance every time I enter a room or say a word."
"Yes." I said.
"You are one of us." I looked at him confused. I seriously had no idea what he was talking about.
"What I mean is this." he said and 4 wolves came out the door the guys entered. The sat around me.
"What's going on?" I asked bringing my legs up in the chair.
"You are a wolf. Your father was supposed to tell you about it but he never did. I know you are experiencing new things. Your teeth are growing, your body is going to be able to tolerate the change that is going to happen in a few days and soon you will be able to change into a wolf whenever it is necessary. Do you have any questions?" Shadows asked.
"Yeah...Who are you guys?"
"My name is Matt. This is Johnny or Christ, Jimmy or the Rev, Zacky or Vengeance, and Synsyter Gates or Brian. We will start your training after the first phasing. Now Zacky will show you to your room. Sleep. You'll need it." he said and I followed Zacky out of the room and down the hall to my room.
"This is your room. My room is next to yours. Matt's is right across the hall, Brian's is next to his. Johnny's is next to mine, and Jimmy's is next to Brian's room." He said and I nodded. I opened the door and seen all my stuff in there. I shut the door and laid down on the bed. I am a Wolf? How am I? I don't get this shit.
