Broken Pieces

Michelle's P.O.V.
After Maria had shown up to my baby shower uninvited I started to rethink things with Brian he's excited to be a father I didn't want to take that away from him but there was something about Maria that I couldn't get over but that wasn't my focus right now today I was going to the clinic to find out the gender of the baby hopefully that would keep things on track.

Brian had a busy day today he had gotten a text from an unknown number strangely he thought it could be a fan but he would never give out personal information to a fan the sun was still rising when he heard a loud crash from the kitchen he ran downstairs into the kitchen "What's going on Chelle ?" she turned to him and smiled "Oh it's nothing I just dropped a plate because I was going to reach for the glass" Brian helped her pick up the broken pieces and helped her off the floor Michelle smiled at him "I'm meeting with the doctor today to find out the gender of our little bean here Brian smiled and hugged her. "I hope it's a boy so he could grow up and be like his father" Michelle shook her head "Well I hope it's a girl so I can dress her up like me and Val" Michelle said

--- 20 mintues later---
"Well Mrs. Haner seems like the little baby haner here is very active Michelle seemed eager to know the gender of the little bean inside her belly "Well it seems you have a healtly baby girl Mrs. Haner a smiled creeped on her face she was excited to have a girl that she could dress up and have tea parties with she texted Brian and told him the news.

Were having a baby girl -Michelle

Well that's not surprising -Brian

What's that supposed to Mean ? -Michelle


As the day turned into night Brian had gotten a text from the same number earlier:

Okay who is this ? -Brian

Take a guess -Unknown number

Brian took a wild guess and Maria was the first name to pop up in his head he didn't bother to respond he knew she tried to play mind games again and he wasn't in the mood for mind games at the moment.

Let's meet for coffee tomorrow around noon -Maria

Okay I'll come just don't try anything suscpious -Brian

Brian sighed and put his phone back in his pocket and pulled into the driveway he walked in and fell asleep on the couch.

Tomorrow is going to be a long hell of a day.
