Broken Pieces

Brian's P.O.V.
After making a complete ass of myself I decided to throw a baby shower for Michelle because I knew she was dealing with morning sickness and it was hard to watch her in that condition but it was a sign that a little baby haner was in the works and I was beyond excited to be a father.

Michelle was walking out the bathroom looking a complete mess she walked downstairs in a gray hoodie and sweatpants "Well Good Morning to you sunshine" Brian said she wiped her lips and grabbed a glass of water and sat down next to Brian on the couch. "How did you sleep ?" Michelle asked Brian didn't want to explain what happened between him and Val the other night so it was best to keep quiet about him and Val alone together.

As the day progressed on, Michelle and Val went shopping with River in tow they ran across a shopping center and decided that they would find something useful to wear out tonight but Michelle couldn't wear anything that would reveal her tiny baby bump and ruin the surprise for everyone.

"So see anything that you like ?" Val asked Michelle wasn't paying any attention she stared at all the moms and dads walk by with their children. Val waved her hand in Michelle's face "Hello earth to Michelle Haner ?" Michelle snapped out of her daydream she looked at Val with a confused look. Val shook her head and continued to push River in his cart. Michelle couldn't keep this secret from her own sister or it would kill her if she didn't tell her now. She took Val's hand and smiled "Val I'm pregnant!" Val couldn't believe what she just heard she hugged her sister tightly. "When did you find out ?" Val asked Michelle couldn't help but smile "The night I couldn't make it to your party" Val smiled "How did Brian react ?" Val asked Michelle laughed "He ran around the house screaming "I'M GOING TO BE A DAD! Val laughed as she and Val walked back to her house.

Everyone who arrived brought gifts mainly diapers which didn't surprise Brian but the spare bedroom was filled with Diapers and a crib he heard the doorbell rang "Okay here she comes hide!" Brian whispered. Brian walked up to the door and opened it but who appeared wasn't who Brian wanted to see...

"What are you doing here Maria ?" Brian asked she winked at Brian and walked in. Brian grabbed Maria's arm and they both went into the kitchen "I heard you and Michelle were expecting so I brought a gift" Maria said Brian took her gift and placed it on the table.

"If Michelle catches you here she won't be too happy" Brian whispered he heard the front door opening he grabbed Maria and hid behind the couch.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled Michelle smiled Brian walked from behind the couch keeping Maria hidden he walked up to her and kissed her softly.

"Hey Michelle I came to drop this by hope I didn't scare you" Maria smirked and walked away

"What the hell is she doing here Brian ?" Michelle asked Brian scratched his head

"I didn't invite her she just showed up" Brian said

This was going to be an interesting baby shower...
