Chapter 9
Erin’s P.O.V
Hannah ran off with Jimmy and I was being text bombed by Brian who was insisting that we hangout tonight. He was a very persistent man and despite the fact that I knew I didn’t want to really start anything I finally agreed to at least hang out with him… but I told him clear as day that not only was this not a date but I would meet him at the location. I had ran upstairs after slipping my gauges and others studs into my ears and finished putting on my outfit since I wanted to drink and dance tonight.
“Where are you favorite dancing dress!” I yelled at my closet and I sat there with my blue raspberry lollipop in my mouth throwing things around my room when I finally found it. I paired it up with some shoes and created my go to club outfit. My phone buzzed loudly on my bed and I grabbed it rolling my eyes as I noticed it was Brian.
“You sure you won’t reconsider me picking you up tonight?” He asked not even giving me a chance to say hello.
“I am pretty sure that I can make it there on my own, and if I somehow get drunk than I will take a cab home” I said to him and I could tell that he was a little disappointed.
“We still have the option of dinner rather than going to the club” He said and I just laughed.
“I told you that this isn’t a date, remember what I told you” I said but he cut me off.
“I know… I’m not ready for a girl like you… well you better be ready for me because I am number one when it comes to going out and partying” He said cockily and I just smiled.
“You better give it all you got Gates” I said and he laughed and then hung up and I
finished getting ready grabbing my keys and such and ran out the door. I was stuck in the madness of Friday night traffic but I saw Brian waiting off towards the side and I got out and he smiled and hugged me.
“You look great” He said happily and I stared him up and down as he looked pretty good tonight and he definitely smelled good.
“You don’t look too bad yourself hot stuff, you ready?” I asked him and he just brought
out the infamous Syn Gates mindset.
“I was born ready, let’s get smashed!” He said loudly and locked his arm with mine as we walked into the club and I felt the bass boom and I just loved it, I literally just wanted to move 24/7 when I was in the club.
“Well damn girl at least get a drink in ya before going out there and dancing!” Brian shouted over the music and I just smiled and I was in my comfort zone and I sat there leaning against the bar as Brian ordered some drinks. As he grabbed them and opened up a tab he turned and smiled as I sipped my drink.
“Thanks for coming out with me tonight” Brian said into my ear and I just smiled and turned my head to him and moved in so he could hear me.
“Thanks for getting me out of the house! Without you I would be sitting at home just doing my hair and makeup tutorials for YouTube” I said laughing and he just raised his eyebrow but then patted my arm letting his touch linger but I just took down my drink and ran to the dance floor to avoid the whole relationship topic. I let the music move through my body and I didn’t care that there were other bodies that were doing the same thing packed on the dance floor. I thought I was alone but then Brian came up behind me moving his body with mine and normally I would run away like usual… but the music took over and I just turned around moving my hips with his. About three songs later we were starting to sweat and I was ready for some shots.
“I need another drink!” I said rubbing my forehead and then we walked towards the side grabbing a table and I sat there looking in my compact mirror making sure my makeup was still in-tact. I pulled my phone out of my clutch and saw that Hannah and Michael had texted me.
*ERIN OMG BEST NIGHT EVER… Despite the fact that MY HEART IS CONFUSED!!! –Hanny*
*E! We still on for breakfast tomorrow?? –Mike*
*Hmmm this isn’t like you not to answer my texts! YOU BETTER BE AT BREAKFAST TOMORROW –Mike* I laughed at the fact that Mike was so worried and I knew that tomorrow I was going to have a lot to talk about with Hannah. But right now I guess that Brian wasn’t too bad of a friend.
Brian’s P.O.V
I walked back over and Erin was sitting there and she was fucking stunning and badass as usual, she was a pretty interesting girl and now I know that she was in love with dancing and just having a great time…. But she was still playing hard to get… but could she resist me THE WHOLE NIGHT?
“So tell me more about yourself” I asked scooting into her a little so that I could hear her and she smiled taking down her first shot.
“Well obviously I am a guitarist.. duh… but I love my hair and I am very high maintenance and I am not afraid to show it! But all in all I am literally just a girl and I love having fun and just rocking the fuck out… Tell me more about you oh great and powerful Synyster Gates” She said resting her chin on the palm of her hand smiling.
“Well I am a guitar god duhhh as you like to say, I too love to rock the fuck out and have a good time, I suppose you could see me as a free spirited man but I also take things very seriously, I guess I am just an all-around complex man” I said and she just smiled and I laughed a little and handed her another shot and on the count of three we both took it down making a face.
“I think some absinthe is in order…. If you can handle it Mr. Guitar God” She said competitively and then she just raised her eyebrow and I ran over getting 4 shots of absinthe and Erin pulled out her lighter lighting the spoonfuls of it on fire and then dropping it in and watching it burn and she just grabbed it waiting.
“Come on hotshot show me what you got” She said and I just smiled.
“Oh you do not know what the hell you are getting yourself into little girl” I said to her and she took down her first shot… impressive but she is no match for me! I did the same that she did and then with the other and took down one right after another. She sat there nodding and seemed pretty impressed.
“Oh hell no! Nobody beats me!” She said and then took down the other followed by a tequila shot and I just laughed as she started laughing afterwards. We were about 10 shots in and all thought process left the building and we were just having a good time. But quickly people left and we were booted because of closing time and Erin and I grabbed a cab knowing that neither of us were truly okay to drive. Erin sat there with her head resting on the seat and I grabbed out my phone and took a pic right as she turned over and smiled at me.
“You ass! Delete that!” She said but I didn’t I just shoved it in my pocket. Erin leaned over and rested her head on my lap and as soon as she did that she passed out quickly into a deep trance like sleep and it was probably the sweetest thing ever. I arrived at her place and I rang the doorbell carrying Erin and finally Hannah answered the door groggily but she soon laughed seeing Erin.
“Just set her on the couch” Hannah said and I lied her down and rubbed the hair out of her face and waved by to Hannah… like I said.. I wasn’t gonna make the first move even though she was super appealing tonight.
Erin’s P.O.V
I woke up to the sun… the fucking sun that I wanted to die… but what made it worse was the fact that I heard multiple voices around me… I knew Hannah was one but then I think I heard Vic and Michael… and Lil Red? I groaned and threw the pillow over my head blocking the light.
“ERIN GET UP!” Mike yelled and everyone laughed and I flipped him the bird.
“SHUT THE FUCK UP!! AND BLOCK OUT THE SUN!” I yelled at everyone and I felt someone moved me a little and then pull of the pillow.
“To this day.. I still don’t get how she never has panda eyes in the morning” Lil Red stated and handed me a cup of… something she made.. it wasn’t coffee but it wasn’t tea.
“What the hell is this? And why is it green?” I asked her and she just swatted my leg.
“Just drink it oh great party girl I swear it will make you feel better” She said and before I could take a drink Charlie popped through the door and I she looked at me and laughed.
“Someone had a crazy night! What time did you get home?” Charlie asked and I was about to answer but Hannah motioned for me to drink the stuff.
“She came home at 4… she was at the club with Brian till closing and they took a cab home so obviously I had to get up early to have Vic help me go and get her car… silly girl” Hannah said and everyone was laughing but this was nothing new to them.
“What is everyone doing today?” I asked them and Mike came over and cuddled up to me like a little kitty cat on the couch.
“Well since you woke up so late we are gonna have lunch” Mike said and I nodded. Seems that Johnny was helping Lil Red get more bass work down for some songs and Hannah was gonna go to this game release thing with Charlie so Vic was coming along and so I guess everything was planned out… seems we were gonna have a good time today.
-3 ½ Weeks later-
It was the night before we went back out for tour… and everyone was getting pumped… nervous and we were happy yet sad because of course everyone loved their time off but at the same time we all love touring and we knew that it was what we were meant to do. Hannah and I were getting ready to go to a huge dinner that ADW, PTV and A7X were having for tomorrow being the first day of tour and Hannah came into the room tapping her foot.
“Come on E we are for sure gonna be the last ones there!” She said and I just laughed and yet scoffed a little.
“Come on you know that Mike and Jamie are always the last ones because they care more about how they look to the ladies than we do!” I said and she knew I was right. I grabbed my keys and my bag and we ran out to the car and when we got there we were greeted by Matt, Lil Red, Jimmy and Charlie; looks like we weren’t the last ones here after all.
“Jeeze everyone is really slow tonight” Matt stated and we grabbed our party table and grabbed some drinks and Johnny showed up when the beer started coming. Lil Red seemed pretty excited to see him, they were getting pretty close.
“Can we please sit finally cause I am starving!” Jimmy said and sat down close to Hannah. All the guys of PTV arrived giving bro hugs and giving us hugs and Mike sat down stealing a sip of my beer and I slapped his cheek lightly.
“You whore get your own!” I said and Hannah shushed me a little but then we sat there laughing. Brian and Zacky came along and Hannah moved down a seat… WHY HANNAH! Brian caught that she had moved down and hurried up over to me and wrapped his arms around my neck hugging me and then put his jacket on his seat and running to grab some more beer.
“What’s going on with you and Brian?” Mike asked and I just flipped my hair behind my shoulder and shook my head.
“There is nothing going on Mike we are just good friends okay, really can people just
get off the subject of Brian and I! Cause I am pretty sure that I am married to my career like I said when we first got back from Mayhem” I said and he just sat back a little taking in the snap that I just did. I wanted off the subject so when everyone got back and seated and ordered their food I stood up.
“Sooo tomorrow we start the amazing journey of touring with not only new friends but family, I am really excited that Lil Red came around on this and I am so glad that we met at Mayhem” I said and Matt just stood up as well.
“Girl you know we are all family now! So I wanna just make the fucking toast and say TO FAMILY!” Matt said and we all chimed in.
“TO FAMILY!!” Everyone said happily standing and hugging and such and with that we went back to our little party…. For tomorrow was gonna be huge for us!
