3 Years Later and Still Living on the Beach
I woke up this morning under the pier like every morning. I had little money and I only ate when I was really hungry or thirsty. I needed a Job in the worst way. I had just turned 16 and still no one has ever found me. I think my family back in Tennessee thought I was dead since no one was able to locate me. I hid myself well from the police. I seen a guy handing out flyer's and I took one from him. I read it and it said if you have a talent come to the local Tiki Hut and play for us. Age does not matter. I decided to give it a shot. I walked down the street and there it was the Tiki Hut. I walked in and seen a bunch of people there and couldn't help but be a little frightened. I went to the table to sign up and I was the thirteenth person to go on stage. I sat down at one of the tables with my duffel bag under my feet. I watched and cheered each person as they sung or danced. I even seen some that weren't good at all and everyone was booing. It was a crazy night. It was my turn after the chick that did Girls Just Wanna Have Fun or some bullshit like that. Bimbo was all I could think about.
"Our last performer tonight comes all the way from Tennessee. Her name is Raven Croft!" the announcer said and I walked on stage.

They announced her name and seen her go on stage. I don't think she knew we were here but I couldn't wait to hear her sing and play.
"Hey that's the chick we gave the ride to from the airport ain't it?" Jimmy asked pointing at her.
"Yeah. We finally found her again. I mean I was wondering where she had been all this time. I wonder if she has her own place or something." Johnny rambled and I hit him in the back of the head.
"You were rambling again Johnny. We'll talk to her after the show." Matt said and Jimmy was overly excited like always. I knew he would tackle the poor girl if he saw her.
"The song I'm playing tonight is a song that's very close to me. It's called Behind Blue Eyes." She said and she began to play and sing.

The song ended and the crowd went wild. She bowed and headed off stage. The announcer came back on to announce the winner and I hoped that it would be her.
"The winner of Entertainer of the Night at the Tiki Hut goes to....Raven Croft!" he said and she casually walked back onto stage and he gave her the award. I was so happy and I stood and clapped for her. When she left the stage everyone was leaving and we stayed behind.
"Do you really want us to stay here Baker I mean really. I don't want to pulverized by a bunch of fans." Brian said.
"I know Brian but I want to see Raven again." I said looking around the place and didn't see her anywhere. Soon it was just us guys in here so I went to the bar and asked the guy where Raven went to. He seen her go down to the beach. I motioned the guys to come outside with me and they followed. I seen her on the beach sitting under the pier staring off into the ocean as the breeze made her hair wave in the air.

I looked out into the crowd before I played and seen the Avenged Sevenfold guys and I knew they would want to see me again. I sung the song Behind Blue Eyes that my friends helped me name and when it was over I seen Zacky and the guys jump up and cheer. Jimmy was cheering like crazy and I just slightly shook my head and bowed. I quickly ran off stage and sat down next to my duffel bag and when they called my name for winning an entertainer of the night thing, I casually walked on stage and accepted the award. I walked off stage and I left the place with my stuff and sat under the pier glaring out into the ocean. I could feel the presence of someone and I knew it had to be the guys. I sat there until Jimmy tackled me to the ground.
"What the hell Jimmy!" I yelled and he hugged me tightly.
"God I missed my best friend." he said picking my off the ground.
"I missed you too. I seen you guys at the Hut." I said and Jimmy put my feet back on the ground.
"Why didn't you stay and talk to us?" Jimmy said pouting.
"I'm sorry Jimmy. I'm just embarrassed. I mean I don't have any where to live." I said.
"How old are you?" Matt asked.
"16 and I've been here since I was 13." I said pulling my pack of cigarettes out of my pocket and lighting one. I inhaled the smoke and they all looked at me like what the fuck are you doing look.
"What? I can smoke you know. I don't have anyone to tell me no." I said.
"We don't care if you smoke but you've been living on the streets of Huntington Beach for 3 years and nothing at all has happened to you?" Brian said raising his brow.
"No. I stayed here under the pier and no one ever comes around. I even take a bath in the ocean." I said and they all looked at each other. Zacky bent down next to me.
"How would you like to stay with me? My wife Gena and I have been trying to adopt a child and I know she will absolutely love you. I mean that is if you want to." he said and I sat there thinking about it. I mean I didn't want to mooch off of Avenged Sevenfold but it was a place to stay until I could get my own.
"Alright I'll stay with you. Anything has got to be better than this sandy ass beach." I said and Jimmy laughed and hugged me tightly again.
"Jimmy let her go! She can't breathe." Matt said pulling me out of Jimmy's grasp and set me back on my feet.
"So let's get you to my house." Zacky said and he picked up my duffel bag and led me to his car. I got in the front seat and he drove to his house. Luckily all the other guys drove their own cars. I looked out the window and I hoped this Gena chick would like me and not get mad because Zacky was bringing someone home. We finally got to his house and I got out grabbing my guitar case and he grabbed my duffel bag.
He opened the door and set my things beside the couch and he walked into the kitchen. I was guessing to get Gena. I sat down on the couch and waited. Zacky came into the living room with the girl. I was guessing it was his wife. I looked over at the two of them and immediately stood up.
"Raven this is my Gena. Gena this is Raven." Zacky said and I extended my hand for her to shake it but she didn't. She grabbed me and hugged me close and smiled.
"In this family we don't shake hands we hug." she said smiling. I was guessing that she smiled all the damn time.
"Yeah I know I found that out the first time I met Jimmy. He never settles down does he?" I asked and they both shook their heads no. I laughed a little and Gena sat down on the couch patting it for me to sit. I did.
"So how long have you been in Huntington?" Gena asked.
"Well 3 years. I've been living on the streets." I said hanging my head. I knew she had a look of shock on her face.
"You lived on the streets of Huntington Beach and nothing ever happened to you?" She said and I looked at her and nodded. She smiled widely and hugged me again.
"Zacky will you please show her to her room? I want you to get plenty of rest tonight that way you and I can go shopping for some things for your room and new clothes." She said as Zacky grabbed my duffel bag again and was fixing to grab my guitar case but I quickly grabbed it. He led me up the stairs and into the guest room. It was such a beautiful room but I knew I would have to make a lot of changes in here. I hated a lot of white. It made the room seem to be purified or some shit and I didn't like it one damn bit. He set my duffel bag down on the bed and went over to my closet and grabbed some towels.
"You have your own shower so feel free to take a shower and in the morning I'll be up here to wake you for breakfast." Zacky said and I just smiled. He walked over to the door and started to walk out.
"Zacky?" I said.
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for letting me stay here." I said smiling. He nodded and smiled right back before leaving the room shutting the door behind him. I unpacked my duffel bag and put the clothes in the right place. I brought out my rock band shorts and a tank top and went to take a shower.
I turned on the hot water and made sure it was warm enough for my liking. I stepped in and let the water flow over my neck and back relaxing my muscles. It felt damn good but I finished my shower and stepped out drying off and getting dressed. I opened the bathroom door and sat down on my bed. I looked at my phone and I didn't have any messages. I decided to text the gang and tell them what happened.

~Hey I got an idea. I'll call Damien and I'll have him call you and put us on 3way and then you can call Nicole and put her on 3 way and Nicole can call Craig and put him on 3way with her. That way Zacky Vengeance can talk to you himself~
~Is he still up? I mean it's like 11:30~ Heather
~Yeah. He's in the kitchen. So let me go and call Damien. You text everyone and make sure they know who they are calling.~
She sent back a smiley and so did I. I dialed Damien's number
"Hello?"
"Hey Damien did I wake you?" I asked.
"No no. What's up?"
"Well I need you do do me a favor and call Heather and put us on 3way. She she is going to call Nicole and put her on 3way and then Nicole is supposed to call Craig and put him on 3 way. That way I can put you all on speaker and Zacky Vengeance can say hi and confirm that I'm staying with him." I explained and it was silent.
"Damien? You there?" I said confused.
"Yeah I'm here but you know I cant do it tonight because I have a to sleep. My mom wants me to help her do shit around the house but I'll do it one day."
"I'll text everyone and tell them that we have to do it another day. I'll let you go get some sleep." I said and we said our goodbyes. I hung up and put my phone on charge setting it down on the nightstand. I laid my head on the pillow and closed my eyes drifting off to sleep.

comments?Sorry about not updating until now. I went and hung out with a friend of mine and we had a great time but I need some help from my readers. While I was with this friend of mine, he kissed me and I really have feelings for him but I'm afraid to tell him the things I'm hiding from my past becuz I don't want to lose him. What should I do?
