It's been a year since my 'dad' came into my life and I've been so fucking miserable. I think he just came into my life just to screw me over once again and I certainly wasn't going to take it this time. We had a huge fight at my grandmother's house about something stupid...

I was sound asleep in bed when I felt the covers being ripped off of me. I opened my eyes.

"What the hell?!" I said and rolled over onto my back. I seen my stupid ass father standing over me yelled at me to get up.

"God just leave me alone....damn." I said getting up. I brushed my hair and grabbed my cigarettes and went outside onto the back porch. I lit up a cig and began to smoke it. I seen my cousin Callie standing over in the driveway with her mom. I heard the back door slam shut and I knew my father was behind me.

"YOU NEED TO GET OFF YOUR LAZY FUCKING ASS AND HELP OUT YOUR GRANDMOTHER!! SHE'S IN THERE SICK AS A FUCKING DOG AND YOU DON'T HELP ONE GODDAMN BIT!! YOU HELP AROUND HERE LIKE YOU HELP YOUR BROTHER AT YOUR MOM'S HOUSE!!" he said and that set me off worse than anything in my entire life.

"FOR YOUR FUCKING INFORMATION I DO CLEAN MOM'S HOUSE AND DERRIK SITS ON HIS GODDAMN ASS AND DOES NOTHING! DON'T TELL ME I DON'T DO SHIT AROUND THE HOUSE WHEN I KNOW I DO!" I yelled and walked off with porch and into the yard with him following right behind me.

"DON'T FUCKING WALK AWAY FROM ME!!" he yelled back and i flipped him off.

"JUST STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!! MY DAD DIED ON MAY 25TH THE DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY! YOU ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE MY FATHER!" I said and walked off into the middle of the yard propping myself against a tree. My cousin came over to me trying to calm me down but I just couldn't.

I've went through so much hell in just one year no one could possibly understand. It was about 8 months until my birthday and I wasn't staying here. I texted Damien and told him what had just happened.

~That sucks Rave. You ain't even into half the year of giving your dad a chance and he has already fucked up!~ Damien

~I know so this weekend, I need you to take me to the airport at midnight. I'll have my shit waiting for you to put in the car and take me to the airport. I'll miss you and please remember to delete these messages so no one knows I'm gone.~

~I won't forget. I'll even delete the calls I get from you. I'll let the rest of the gang know that you are gone and tell them the same thing you told me. We will miss you.~ Damien

I smiled knowing that they loved me that much and cared.

~I'll miss you all too but this is something I have to do. I can't stay in the same place as my father. I'm fixing to write my mom a letter when I get home that will explain the reason why I left. When I get to my destination, I will buy a straight talk phone and text you guys from that. Please use a different name for me. Um let's see....use the name Pall Mall Chick.~

~Why Pall Mall Chick?~ Damien

~Because that's what I smoke remember?~

I couldn't help but laugh to myself at his failing memory and he's not even that old!

~Alright I'll tell the others the next day. Hope I see you again one day.~ Damien

I sent him a smiley face and he sent one right back.

I was waiting for midnight to hit and when it did, I already had everything packed and ready to go. I texted Damien and told him to knock on my bedroom window when he got there. I needed to finish getting my stuff packed and make sure my mom was sound asleep. I finished packing when I heard a knock at my window. I opened the blinds and seen it was Damien. I opened the window and hugged him.

"You all packed?" he whispered. I nodded.

"Just let me to see if mom is asleep and if she is I'll hand you my stuff." I said and quietly went to the door and opened it slightly. Mom was sound asleep on the couch and I shut my door. I grabbed my backpack and duffel bag and handed my guitar to him.

I grabbed my Ipod and shoved it in my pocket and attached my chains to my pants. I set the note for my mom on the pillow and climbed carefully out the window and we made our way to his car. I shoved my stuff in the back seat and I hurried and got into the passenger side. Damien sped down the road towards the airport. I looked out the window and watched all the houses I used to clean and take care of the children pass by so quickly. I was leaving this place and never looking back. We got to the airport and Damien helped me get my stuff out. I hugged him once more and kissed his cheek.

"I'm going to miss all of you. Don't forget about me." I said and a faint tear dropped from the corner of my eye. I wiped it away.

"We will never forget you but as soon as you get a place I want you to tell us and we'll be out there in no time." He said smiling. I smiled back and hugged him again. I started walking towards the entrance to the airport and set my guitar down and waved at him before going inside.

I went to the service desk and asked the woman for a ticket on the next flight to Los Angelos. The next flight left in 20 minutes so I quickly purchased a ticket and made my way to board the plane. I made it just in time to get on. I looked for my seat and put my duffel bag in the overhead compartment. I sat down laying my head on the headrest closing my eyes. I opened them and looked over to see a man with a lot of tattoos with snake bites and his septum pierced. I put my headphones in my ears and turned it up high and as loud as it would go. Thanks to my good friend Heather she got me into listening to all her favorite hard rock and metal bands. Avenged Sevenfold was my favorite. I closed my eyes once again and before I knew it I was fast asleep.
