I Wait And Bleed
Sound Check
I woke up late the next day and I think it was around 3. I could hear the guys talking quietly as I laid there. I turned over and smiled at Zacky who was sitting with me.
"Sleepy head." Zacky teased and I flipped him off. The guys all laughed.
"I've been awake for a while." I said smiling.
"You better get up and ready Rave because we have to go get your friends and head to Knoxville." I nodded and got up grabbing my some clothes and walking into the bathroom. I locked the door and stripped my clothes for a nice hot shower to wake me up better. I finished my shower and changed into my clothes. I walked out and put my dirty clothes into my bag.
Zacky waited for me in the room and we walked out together. Everyone except Zacky took our bags out to the bus. Zacky finally brought his slow ass onto the bus and we madeour way over to Damien's. I pulled out my phone and made sure he was up.
~Damien we are on our way. Is everyone over at your house?~
~Yeah we are all waiting for you.~ Damien.
~Good see you in like 5 minutes.~
~We'll be here.~ Damien.
It was almost 5 minutes that we arrived and I hopped off the bus and help the guys with their stuff. I showed each of them where they would be bunking and we sat in the very back with the guitars.
"So you all excited?" I asked smiling.
"Of course we are but we are more excited to spend time with you." Damien said and I blushed and everyone said aw. I rolled my eyes and shook me head in disappointment.
"So Rave who all is going to be touring with Avenged?" Nicole asked.
"I dont really know. I only know of one band and that's Five Finger Death Punch." I said smiling.
"Oh Lord I get to meet Ivan Moody! He is one good looking man." Heather said rolling her eyes in the back of her head.
"Heather, the guys told me not to be around him. He's bad news." I said and they looked at me confused.
"What I mean is Zacky's adopted sister didn't listen to them about him and he killed her. No one who murders changes. Avenged and Five Finger Death Punch might be friends in front of the fans but after that...they go back to hating each other." I explained and they nodded.
"We'll protect you girls." Damien, Craig, and Luke said in unison. We giggled and they got up flexing their muscles and doing crazy poses. It was funny. We sat back there for the longest time ever and before we knew it, we were pulling up to our venue at the Knoxville Civic Autotorium. It has been a long time since I have been here and it still looked the same.
Jason parked the bus behind the building with the other buses. I looked out the window and seen the Five Finger Death Punch bus and I knew I had to stay away from but I wanted to see Ivan and tell him I can't be hanging with him. God knows what he might do but I am a fighter. I can take care of myself. We went up to the front and the guys stopped us.
"We have something to tell you guys and we all think you will be out of your minds." Matt said smiling and I knew they were up to something.
"What?" I said.
"Well that day you were practicing, we were talking and thought it would be a great idea if you all open for us tonight. I mean we go on first tonight and it will be a great experience for all of you." Matt said smiling. I looked at him with eyes wider than ever.
"That's awesome Matt! We would love too!" I said and the gang nodded with huge smiles.
"Alright. I'll let Nicole use my drums but please take care of them." Jimmy said and Nicole nodded rapidly.
"Alright. Grab your instruments and let's go." Matt said leaving the bus with the guys. We grabbed our stuff and headed off the bus after them. I looked over to the Five Finger Death Punch bus and seen Ivan. He looked directly at me and waved. I didn't wave back and I walked faster and stood next to Brian. We got into the building and to the soundcheck. Nicole helped Jimmy set up his drums, Craig was helping Johnny with Bass, Heather and Luke worked with Brian, and I was with Matt. When everything was set up we began our sound check.
"Guys I think we should play at least 4 songs that we know how to play well." Heather said.
"You have any songs in mind?" Luke asked.
"I have some. I was thinking about maybe 2 songs from Staind and the other 2 from Puddle Of Mudd." I said smiling.
"Alright we got the artists now what about the songs?" Craig said.
"How about Price to Play and Mudshovel from Staind and from Puddle Of Mudd, Control and Drift and Die?" I said and they nodded.
"Let's hit this shit." I said and they cheered. I began to play the first song and sing. My voice was sounding great as always and they guys playing was awesome. The sound check went great and it was time for Avenged to do theirs. When they finished I seen Ivan Moody standing out backstage watching me. I smiled and he waved. I waved back and he smiled bigger. I knew I had to tell Ivan but I was going to bring my friends with me. We all walked to the dressing room to get ready and listen to Jimmy pump us up before the performance.
