Him

A few hours later..

"Hey, mom" I said quietly walking into her bedroom. She had a dark towel wrapped around under her arms, and her hair was curled nicely.

"Hi,"

"Mom, please, please don't hate me" I sighed walking over to her and hugging her tightly.

"Hate you? Your my daughter, I don't hate you dear"

"I would"

"No, what kind of mother would I be if I hated my daughter because I was jealous of her" Mom sat in front of her dressing table and started on her makeup.

"Want me to do it?" I offered seeing her shakey hands.

"Mmhmm" she was trying her hardest not to cry. I knelt inbetween her and started putting on her foundation. "Your so beautiful mom"

"Thank you dear," she half smiled. "You take after me" mom chuckled to herself. I started gently brushing her blusher on her cheeks, occasionally blowing on them. "Please, give my apologies to Brian"

"Why?"

"I slapped him," she giggled. "And, I'm sorry for overreacting Ren, it was uncalled for"

"You kidding me? Mom I would of kicked my daughter out, maybe even disowned her if I found out that" I concentrated on her make up. "So thank you"

"I just remember a few months ago, you were so happy. Like, really happy. And it was cos' of him, right?"

"Probably"

"Happier than me" she teared up.

"Mom don't, I've just done your eyeliner" I laughed.

"Sugar, sorry"

"What dress you wearing?"I asked.

"That one," she pointed to the wardrobe.

"Mine again? You need to stop stealing my clothes mom" I smiled finishing her off. "All done"

"That was quick," she turned around and smiled at herself.

"Johnny's lucky" I said.

"Johnnys gorgeous, how'd I pull him" she winked.

"You didn't, I set you up with him" I laughed.

"Pfft, "

"I'll leave you to get changed,"I kissed her cheek and thanked her.

Mom wasn't okay about it, I could tell. But I clearly meant to much to her. I saw straight through her brave face.
